Paid Manual 15 EDU Back-Links - GOOD or BAD idea?
Hi Nikita, The danger is real enough, you will find many references to penalties and dropped rankings in this forum! As for limited budget but lots of time, there are a lot of creative things you can do with that combination. It is always good to go through the basics and then dig into the ideas on the seomoz blogs and forums (like here for example). You will find many ways to apply what you read and learn to your own specific site/niches and start moving up the serps!

Is Remove Em A Fantastic con?
Yes we did put a support request in but they did not answer it until we had posted on this forum. Which is disgusting that they ignore support requests after they have the money. Then we get insults from them which I do not appreciate and do not expect from a supposedly trustworthy company. Regarding the refund, we had to put a PayPal goods not as described request in, so we will never know if you would've refunded Just looking at the anchor text is very short sighted as there are other factors which should also be considered (and that is from approximately half a dozen leading UK companies). I simply do not believe that your product is good value for money and would not recommend it to anyone.

Best SEO Apps For The iPhone
I have analyticspro too but prefer Fast Analytics. Not as many features but displays the basics quickly and clearly. I don't use my iPhone for in depth analytics so don't need all the extra info.

Good Social Media Software
Hi Chad I believe what you're looking for are influencer marketing solutions. You can probably check out Klout and PeerIndex, both of which measure individuals' influence across various platforms, and allows companies to offer these influencers "perks" and get them talking about it. Among the two, PeerIndex is probably more domain sensitive. You might want to check out Kred too, although it's not as famous as the two above. Wildfire and HootSuite are alternatives to help you manage multiple platform social media as well. The latter might be the more economic option. Alex

Promoting on social media
Hi Raghu Can you define your goals of "promoting people on social media" a little clearer? What is your aim of such promotion? Is it to increase awareness so that potential customers or employers can approach them when the demand comes? I would think that creating Facebook fan pages or Google+ profiles will definitely help, with showcases of their work in the format of photos/videos/text. If it's industry focused, a LinkedIn profile will come in handy as well. Alex

Facebook ad matching
Hi Tauri, These people could get some hints that you're using their email addresses for your Facebook ads as it seems otherwise highly unlikely that you're able to target them so directly (besides the fact that you could use FBX partners for retargeting). I would suggest including this within the terms of service of privacy agreement you have with your customers that you're able to target them on Facebook by using their email addresses. Hope this helps!

Affiliate marketing
Hello, It sounds like you're looking for an affiliate network that specializes in lead generation. Try CPA Storm (cost per acquisition, which is what you're looking for), T3Leads, or Pepperjam. This article compares a few of those, but it's a few years old: http://www.comparethebrands.com/compare/96 A homegrown program is great for many reasons, but the biggest drawback is that you don't have immediate access to hundreds or thousands of affiliates, as you would with a network.

Marketing Budget
I'm with EGOL, focus on content. Where my opinion differs, is that it could take you some time to organically build the traffic you (or your manager) wants to see from spending money. I would put a little money into the PPC to act as a feedback loop to see what keywords are successful from a paid stand point, and then start creating content to get quality scores up and build organic rank. We're in a similar industry (electrical contracting) on a local basis. That budget might be well spent sponsoring local events where you can build your brand and make network connections that could lead to more organic linking.

IFrames From a Relative Path
I use iframes all the time (FB, TW, G+, Youtube). If you are using wordpress, you can use a widget that shows the last 3 post on the home page or whatever page you want the blog posts on. I use Advanced Recent Posts Widget. Check it out in WP plugins. I use it right on my homepage, No iframe!

GOOGLE Server Errors & Page not found Errors increased????
If you have a development server I would run some tests on it. Or even run wamp and copy your installation over. Just be careful against the change in url structure at the base from site to localhost or similar. I think you have multiple problems. 404, 500 and Flooding at first glance. Baldea says you have some misconfigured lines in htaccess and joomla and the extensions will modify that. Personally I would take out the extension or disable it. Turn off Joomla SEF and use a clean .htaccess file from installation if feasible. Then build it all again. Make sure to ask yourself if you really need the extension to handle SEF or if Joomla can do it for you. Save complications.. Adam

How do I get the Google Adwords Opt-In Form in the Ad
Hey Stephanie, I can confirm that David is correct. If you don't have an account rep, just call AdWords and let them know you're interested in seeing if you can be added to the beta. I believe it's open. Just so you know, when you sign up for a beta, you don't get the data in AdWords ad extensions section (or at least this is how it was a while back). I would suggest, depending on the requirements for the beta, creating a new form specifically for AdWords and tagging it in your mail client. That way you can at least know how it's working before you dive in.

I have a quick adwords question
Hmm... nope I looked at the previous day and it is also off. One thing I noticed is the problem lies within the display network... not the search network. I have one campaign that is running image ads only and somewhere in here is where I'm getting all my unknown clicks. Suggestions anyone?

Pro Member - PDF Branded Reports
Not so sound like a cheater here but if you have a Pro membership and don't have the need (or cash) for a Pro Plus membership, open your reports in Adobe Acrobat and remove the logo and add yours. Of course, you have to own Acrobat. Its always something.

Google adwords good or not so good
Thank you, Rui and everybody. I think I'm finding out why I have never pursued this topic- it's obviously a deep one from all your responses and it's an area I haven't had a need to know much about. I obviously know next to nothing or even less than that because I don't even know what bids are in adwords. I just signed up for the keyword I was pursuing and off I went. From what I can see, it's working well so far in terms of the listings and I'm where I want to be in that. Getting clicks and calls is another story. One signed client will be worth a lot of adword budget in our field.
