How Would You Market A Photo Of Jay-Z Wearing Your Client's Apparel?
If it does, or if it depicts something obvious, I'd certainly be getting that pointed to from any of the niche related forums out there. In whatever comments being made it would be nice if some unique terminology could be seeded regarding the description of the shirt he's wearing or regarding other aspects of the photo and include that unique word or phrase in the description of the garment on the client's site. That way, if someone does a search that includes that seeded word, it would help your client's site show up in the results for that search.

Advice and recommendations for ecommerce CMS
Hi, To make the integration with QuickBooks you will need a third party service I recommend Web Gility. Their service is compatible with woo commerce you can check in the link: http://www.webgility.com/carts/woocommerce.php About the shopping cart I would chose the one your developer have more experience. If you are the developer and you dont have experience with any shopping cart pick the one you find better documentation and active community. So you can ask questions when you dont find in the documentation. I am sure that any option out there won't have everything you need done and will require customization. I personally got everything in your requirements done using Magento.

Any tips and tricks to increase Conversion Rates on Google PLA?
we have successfully focused on high quality pictures of our products... the impact was amazing. It`s difficult to compare because we have a higher budget for adwords but Google loves good pictures. Ensure that you rank with your product pictures within the universal search results (this is also an measurable option within MOZ). If you provide brilliant pictures then they have a good chance to rank within the universal search and push your PLA listings...

Rich Snippets not showing up in Google
Because they are not correct would be the simple answer. Look at all the red warnings that you are getting from the inspector. It seems that you have errors in your offer, the reviews, and date published. Also you are missing a required field "name" which will cause them not to show.

Google Analytics: Do 'Goals' actually work?
Did you ever figure this out? My hunch is that Dana's first suggestion might be the cause. Are you sure the regex is set up correctly? It might help to export the list of URIs from analytics and test your regex against them in some kind of text editor w/ regex support, e.g., sublime text. Did you get multiple leads from the same person? Google Analytics will only count a goal completion once per visit—so if the same person converts several times in one visit, you'll only see a single goal completion for them.

PPC Bid Strategies for Adwords PLA Campaign
Thanks, Steve for the insight. I will check out Google Keywords Planner. Talking about Quality Score, is it even applicable to Product Listing Ads (PLA)? There are no explicit keywords for PLA's, so I am not sure if a quality score is attached. Any ideas? On a related note, I was chatting to a Google Adwords Specialist (from Google) and she recommended a Max CPC of 0.50 for each keyword. Any comments?

Event Tracking or Goal Tracking?
For any people later coming in, in this thread. I got in touch with the site owner, it turned out that the GA tracking code was missing on the thank-you page.

Sales pages or one site?
If I am performing Geo based SEO as well as products, would this make sense to keep all on the same domain as separate sales pages? I am using wordpress so can easily create them to be unique copy url and alike so there wouldnt be any duplicate issues. Sound ok?

How to improve Time to First Byte? Page Load Speed
Hi Ian These are all good suggestions. Accidentally (SSL excluded) these are all covered by modern CDNs, which do much more than just proxy. Memory vs. disk caching: Memory is faster CDNs will cache from memory by providing free/low-cost access to very large pool of resource, which most website owners couldn't utilize otherwise. (each proxy location will have ~10 high-powered servers that allocate memory for caching) Server configuration: Is your database on the same server as your web server? That's a problem, if true. This is a core CDN capability. The cached web content is served from proxy while database complies in the background and serves the rest of the materials. Database caching: Is your e-commerce system using it? The first hit on the database is a huge hit on performance. This is a great suggestion and - unlike other points - this is not a default CDN feature. However, this problem can be solved by intelligent caching heuristic. What I mean is that by monitoring resource usage over large pool of visitors an intelligent CDN system can identify dynamically generated objects which are not often changed, yet still un-cached due to their dynamic "origin". Pinpointing such objects and caching them in the way that ensures personalization and freshness will reduce the impact of database processing. For example, typical e-commerce site and will dynamically generate the product list from DB when in fact most products specifics (the image, the text, the pricing, etc) will not change over the product life-cycle. For all states and purposes these are static resources, yet they are being generated dynamically, for the lack of the better option... If you CDN can identify such instances and move in to cache these parameters, you will benefit from 30-50% improvement, on top of the usual 30-40% CDN factor. What I`m describing here is not future-tech but a patent-pending algorithms which are already used by the industry. You can find out more here:http://www.incapsula.com/the-incapsula-blog/item/414-advanced-caching-dynamic-through-learning

Which eCommerce Platform?
Hi Andy, once you select an ecommerce platform, if you want to go mobile with your online shop I invite you to check out our mobile commerce solution Shopgate which will integrate with whichever ecommerce platform you decide to go with. For example, we are a Magento Gold Partner and would be able to quickly create a mobile website and app with the same look and feel as your current website. Whichever way you decide to go, good luck!

New Trend: Large Format Scrolling (eg. parallax)
Mobile and tablets have ushered in this era of "scrolling-in, writing-out." I personally think there's a happy medium somewhere to be found. The fact is, people don't want to read much on product or service pages. They do their research on blogs, forums, social, etc. That's where they will be more likely to read long articles and what-not about the subject. Somewhere (they think) is relatively unbiased. Therefore pages like Moz's there are for conversion only. And in an age where marketing/sem/seo (whatever you wanna call it, it's all the same!) is more about design/aesthetics/engaging content and captivating layouts, this type of format makes sense. You can still sneak in plenty of on-page optimization while capturing the arguably-more important aspect of purdy-UX. This is where links will be won, pages will be shared, and tweets will be tweeted.

Conversion Rate boost - Website Feedback
Thanks, Moosa! Very helpful advice! Would you be able to provide a good example of an e-commerce website with a good blog strategy? We will definitely look into making our content more engaging. Do you think setting up a blog/news feed on the homepage would be a necessary step? Or simply including Blog link in the header is good?

Analytics : Goal tracking for multiple payment methods
The Thank you page is indeed the same. It's a URL with a dynamic bit at the end. Hmm, I'll look at whether we can create two different thank you page. Great tip on the 'reverse goal path Thanks

Person who will work as "Landing Page Expert" for any competitive website shall possess 1.Good experience on tools like "Crazyeggs.com" or other other visual analysis tools. 2. He must recommend changes based on technology as well heuristic aesthetics. This is tough challenge, but you need person who have his/her both hemispheres sharp.

Can Changing Meta Descriptions Negatively Impact SERP's?
Hey Robert, I was wondering what your experiences where with the changing meta descriptions? My team was looking to do something similar with one of our sites and we are worried about changing meta descriptions and whether that would affect us negatively. Thanks

Goal Tracking in Google Analytics
Have you checked out Google's Analytic's training, they have video about how to do this. You should be able to access it from your analytic's account. Also here is a link to Google Goals: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1032415?hl=en Not sure if this is what you are after, we tend to set up goals in Google Analytics, we can then match that goal to our lead forms, all thanks to our great web developer.

Root or sub domain for my site? (I forgot which I used to target)
No problem. Yeah, that is the canonicalization problem I referenced. Depending on what you use to manage your website this can be fixed in an administrative panel of sorts, web.config, or .htaccess file - but those can sometimes be pretty advanced. Mike
