Hi Bo, Thanks for the additional information about your business model. So, if in-person transactions happen at each office, and each office has its own address and own phone number, sounds to me like you're good to go for pursuing local inclusion. thanks! So far I have no better explanation than "size matters". I also have a small non-Wordpress site (well optimized) that took a hit in Bing, except for one key phrase on a sub page that jumped 48 places. Comparing this, to another "A grade" optimized sub page on the same site that slipped 48 places, the difference is that the one "going up " is a slightly competitive phrase and the one "going down" is a highly competitive one...

I personally feel using the same text as the body would be lazy. It doesn't take long to come up with some unique content for descriptions and I feel it would be a nice move. I have noticed a lot of companies including Telephone numbers within descriptions but have not tested this yet so that might be a nice idea for you.

Domain authority can have a big influence on page authority.  Its not a direct correlation, because page authority depends on a lot of different inputs on a page level (internal links, external links, information architecture, perceived value).  But just because a site have good DA doesn't mean that all internal pages get a nice PA. Depending on the value of those three backlinks, three could be all you need to boost a PA.

True. I've even seem some instances of anchor text being used in descriptions.

Hi, this is the search result I get in Google images (top left is my photo): http://goo.gl/uv0ZC. I originally used the image for a different blog, this is the image link: http://goo.gl/JINOh. What baffles me is that they seem to have "attached" the image to a direct download, I suppose placing the image at a page that is a download page - not visible in search but scannable by Google so that the image appears listed in Google images to dupe people into downloading an application..?

They will be treated as seperate sites, to us www1 and www may seem very similar but to Google it will be two separate things. Even http:// and http://www. can be two different sites. So from that point of view I say you are safe given that you're not duplicating content in ways that I may not be aware currently.

I'm following up on old threads in Q&A that are still marked unanswered.. Did this continue to happen, or did it ever settle out? Did you figure out why it happened at all?

I agree with Egol all the way.  However I'm less concerned about Google abandoning Blogspot than wanting to move to another platform, and being able to re-create and redirect all my pages, links, and rank.  With your own domain you can do this, but as a subdomain on blogspot.com it might not be possible. Redirecting blogspot.com sites came up in another thread recently.
