Would you Consider this High Quality?
I would suggest to put your resources, content and efforts on the main site, so that it becomes an authority in this domain of bins in general, because not all people now the differences that you as an insider knows. so if i search for bins then i would find all the resources in one place, and google will eventually see that there is a lot of resources in one place regarding this subject matter, and the people who want to link to your site naturally will find that your site has real authority in this domain. concentrated efforts will always win over diluted efforts.

Best Directories to Get Listed On?
Hi guys Really funny to read this! I had some advice from a former compettitor (he has since sold his cateeing business) his site has little or even no interesting content (a handful of blog posts) but ranks well for all the keywords that we Desire . I asked him how he did it and he said that he put his site on around 600 directories! He still ranks really highly even though he sold it a year or too ago. The other thing he mentioned was buying blog posts on other sites about his. So if I was to Wright some interesting content and get people in the catering industry to link to it. I should over come the directory spamming approach that he has taken? Perhaps a free tool or check list for weddings or something? his site gastrocatering.com mine is sussexchef.com

Sitemap Question - E-commerce - Magento
First thing would be to 301 redirect old to new so the new pages have the chance to rank. If you don't you might also run into keyword cannibalisation issues where both old and new try to rank for the same keywords. In Magento I believe if you disable the old category, it will also be removed the in sitemap.xml it generates for you. If you're generating the sitemap manually then yes definitely remove them from the sitemap after the redirects.

Help Me Improve this Page, Please
Yeah, it really its a dilemma. However, i apologize for using that word (cluttered). Basically, you should aim for the taste of your market and users. For me, an ideal or almost ideal ecommerce category or product page would look something like this page. Paddy Moogan gives excellent advice on optimizing ecommerce for conversions, there are tons of advice on optimizing a page for ecommerce. Its a great thing that you get a lot of traffic, now its time to reel them in. The first thing would be setting your conversion goals. Are you looking for 1) Sales , 2) Subscriptions, 3) Contact forms or calls, amongs other. Or a mixture of them. CleverPhD correctly points out that you should monitor the pages, conversions, everything, and analytics software its a must, wheter is google analytics,or some other software. In order to gain more trust (And convert more) and be seen as the most trustworthy option in stackable bins you should aim for five things, and synch them real nice: Product Usability: the user wants to be able to experience the product or service features. This can be achieved by incorporating multiple images of the products. Customers actually using the product. Customer reviews are also really important. Explanations: I think your site already gives a detailed explanations of the benefits. However, a FAQ would be a great idea to build trust with thorough responses to objections within skeptic customers. Simplicity: Keep it simple!, ensure that only the right information is presented. Follow Up: This is where a subscription, or registration would come in handy. Security: Include trust signals such as TrustE, Verisign, BuySafe etc. Thanks for sharing your case in this Q&A. I hope at least something was helpful! Best Regards.

How would you Improve this Page (to get conversions)?
The colors are not really helping your site look professional and trustworthy. Try to make the important parts of your website stand out more and make sure to direct your visitors to the important elements of the pages. I get more drawn to the left part of the website where you have the logo/slideshow then that i get drawn to clicking on your products. This is a definite conversion killer. Look at a couple of good and authoritative looking webshops. Your products should stand out and the structure of your products should be clean. The left area with the medals and brands should go to the right and your navigation should be on the left. The navigation should also look better. The grey doesn't really suit well with the rest of your website. The product page has a table which doesn't make sense to me. But that could be because i am not a native english speaker and i know nothing about stackable storage bins. Hope you think my advice was helpful. Let me know if you need more advice or help.

Help me improve this page, PLEASE
Thanks for the advice... Do you think that moving the text from the top of this page into the sidebar will negatively affect my rankings? I am asking since the text (content) won't be the first thing seen by the search engines... Any thoughts...

Mobile Wordpress Plugins - keep look the same
Hey Prime, I am not familiar with any plugins that can make a site responsive and maintain the appearance without you manually editing them. But, many will allow you to change their theme, which might be good enough for your needs if you don't mind editing them yourself. If you have the budget, my preference for SEO purposes would be to have a designer make your current theme responsive. Barring that, the mobile plugin would be an affordable alternative, but not ideal.

Best way to get over the Hump (from page 2 to page 1)
I started a website only two months ago in a medium competitive niche. I run affiliate websites, I should state that up front. I started on page 40, and now I rank page 1 between 2-4 depending on fluctuation of the serps. This is true for several products, single word, two word, and three word + terms. I do the regular things I think most folks do, but I will list them; Well researched, grammatically correct, and properly formatted articles Articles are no less than 1k words each - if its not at least 1k words then it can be combined with another shorter topic. Broad scope of information on the site, allowing the opportunities to interlink pages to my money pages. Another thing I do that allows me to rank fast and high is the structure I use for my site. It's rather unique and allows controlled distribution of pagerank. So my advice would be more content. A lot of the time I see a website ranking purely because their website is larger than mine. The content stinks, but they have more PR flowing. Add more content!

Are 404 Errors a bad thing?
Hello Prime85, Both these answers are correct in their own way, but let me clarify and add my 2 cents. 1. 404s don't hurt your rankings directly, but they can provide a poor user experience. 2. If you keep URLs "live" - then Google can keep these URLs in their index indefinitely. This means search engines may waste time and crawling resources visiting pages you don't want in the index, while ignoring your other pages. This CAN hurt your SEO. Long story short, (like Brian says) if the page is no longer relevant, you should remove it from the index or redirect it to another URL. 3. Returning a 404 kills all link juice that may have gone to the page, and it can also send confusing signals to search engines about the structure of your site if you have a bunch of pages returning 404s at the same time you have a bunch of new, but similar, pages popping into existence. The best policy is to set up a 301 redirect from your outdated pages to the most relevant new pages. Don't redirect everything to a single page like the homepage, but instead the redirect to the page that would be most relevant and useful for the user. On the other hand, if it's a low-value page and there's really no need to redirect it, you should remove it from the index. There's a couple ways to do this: Put a meta robots "NOINDEX" tag in the head and wait for Google to crawl the page and process the noindex. It helps if the URL is listed in your sitemap so that they can more easily "find" the url. Block the URL through robots.txt, then use Google's Remove URL tool in Webmaster tools Return a 404, and use the Remove URL tool Hope this helps! Best of luck with your SEO.

Can I 301 Re-Direct within the same site?
Same products, same copy, etc,? If you want Page A to no longer exist and Page B to replace it in the SERPs then use the 301 to send people to Page B and pass link equity/seo juice. If you want Page A to continue existing but you want Page B to potentially replace it in SERPs, use rel="canonical" so that Page A may still be found and visited but pass equity to Page B which will/should eventually replace Page A in the SERPs for the terms where Google feels your canonical suggestion is completely relevant.

Best Way to Manage Multiple Blogs
I agree with EGOL, unless you are trying to dominate the first page with search results for the same keyword phrase. Then in that case they need to be completely separated, no interlinking and no shared content.

Bounce Rate at 45% - How to Improve?
You might also want to consider using Google Analytics virtual pageviews and custom events for tracking of interactions on your site which are not tracked by default. This would include things like: Download of PDF or other 'non web page' files. Social media interactions ('likes' and 'shares') Clicks that show/hide content elements with CSS and/or JavaScript Tracking these interactions in Google Analytics will lower your bounce rate, though obviously you would not actually be improving the user experience of your site. I think though, that having your bounce rate be affected by meaningful user interactions on your site like these will give you a better sense of what your 'true bounce rate' is (meaning, the percentage of users who come to your site and literally do nothing).

Best way to publish same content on 2 blogs?
I'm no expert in storage but you will have to find your niche to get publicity. You may want to provide more images because in a content perspective, your posts all have lots of text and few images. Not really appealing and hard to attract a user to text versus an image of what is being discussed.

Best way to find Long Tail Keywords?
The problem is that by definition long tail keywords have relatively low individual search volume, making it difficult to identify them in an algorithmic manner. A lot of people stand by http://ubersuggest.org/ you could give that a go. I prefer other methods, such as digging into analytics or site search data to figure out what information people are seeking from your site. If you can collect data from other sources, such as a sales team that answers queries from clients, that could also be useful.
