It will be very unfair to advise without analyzing website in terms of On Page and Back-links.

Just a favor, similar issue happened with one of our USA based client last week. Complete collapse in rankings suddenly but rankings got backed within 2 days. That was mysterious. I wish the same for your client!

Still, without analysis, we can't identify issues! There could be one or more reasons

• Some Sort of Robot
• Back-links Issues (Anchors, Diversity, Quality)

or others.

This is more than tricky. I have witnessed websites that are ranking high doing the same practices (Most of Internet Marketing Companies, Web Design Companies, Themes, Plugins etc) but such link schemes have costed thousands and thousands of websites.

Here is example of one big brand victimized recently by such link schemes

There are hundreds of such examples. So if you like to move this way

• Use Non Money Anchor (May be Brand Name)
• Make sure to turn link into "Nofollow"

Back-links Analysis

• Money Anchors: This is the biggest issue of all. More than 50% of anchors are money: http://screencast.com/t/jC8wtH6Ijwj. This is not a desirable situation
• No Social Shares: Hardly any social shares: http://screencast.com/t/IUSEORZ69o
• Most of links From Directories and Social Book-marks: This is not an ideal situation. good to be divers. Few Guest Posts, Few Press Releases, Few Local Directories, Few Business Directories.

Starting with disavowing is good but disavow could further lower rankings and you are going to lose link juice. So, buid quality links to make amends for it.

Additionally few On Page Tweaks can help

• Title Tags are over-optimized. More than 70 characters
• Try to crawl your website through Moz and find other SEO Issues regarding Meta, Content, Semantic, Images etc
• Product Categories making things duplicate (Agree with Alan)
• Loading Speed needs some work
• Making your website responsive will be another good thing
• Hardly any internal linking. Need to improve it

They are doing lots of internal linking! This is a good practice in deed..

• Title Tag: 66 Characters, Optimized with keyword
• Meta Description: 156 Characters, Nicely optimized with keywords
• Meta Keywords: Missing. I know Google does'nt count it but it works for Bing. So, adding them will be a plus.
• H1: Optimized
• Content: San Francisco 4 Times which is acceptable!

So overall optimized! But you need to work on your other inner pages, they need some efforts as well1

You might be looking to use these landing pages for PPC. Just make them "nonindex" through robot to avoid duplicate issues with your website! Please make sure that it will be implemented with care.

You can get estimations of CPC through Adwords Keyword Tool or Keyword Spy!

But I agree with Adam, it's more theoratical! CPC depends upon

• Quality Score of keyword

Which is derived from 3 Things

• Click Through Rate
• Quality of Ad
• Landing Page Experience

Overall performance of campaign depend upon many other factors as well!

I was shocked when I was doing this research work!

Still, I never recommend you to do such type of stuff because website doing this going to be tanked shortly!

• Add more content to your website. Content is king. Add blog post on daily basis if you can. Resolve problems of your community with your posts and I assure you that you will start finding traffic on your website
• Spread the word on Social Media especially Google Plus. Get Google Plus Shares, Make Google Plus Local Page, get Authorship if feasible
• Be local and specific in getting links!
• Do some guest posts (Plz non anchor keywords)

You should Optimize pages First.. Well Optimized Pages with Good Quality backlinks Will get you Required Rankings.

As a Start, Optimize your Web pages in regards to your Keywords and then start building backlinks.

I totally agree with you on this.

Wiki Pages links are Nofollow'ed So They do not pass link juice to the external pages.

But Wiki links are still valuable as it adds authority/diversity  as well as traffic too.

Let's discuss things one by one

1. Title Tags

• Too long! It must be around 60 Characters with spaces (Some Suggests 70 as well). So, try to fix it
• Be unique for every page. Like for About Page, you can use "About | San Francisco's Leading Video Production Company". For Services "Video Production Services San Francisco". Search more keywords for your business (Google Keywords Tool)
• Use your brand as blog title. Using keyword is not very recommended as it leads to increase length and over -optimization

2. Meta Description

• Unique description of around 160 words with proper optimization of keywords is ideal
• Your Meta descriptions are not optimized at moment. Please optimize them

3. URL Structure

• Optimized URL is not all about placing keywords in URL
• Deliver authority to your pages and they will start to rank

Manual Penalty! Being honest, I have worked many such cases and revoked penalties for dozens of client since April, 2012 but I have never seen a single site recovered 100%. Best recover ratio till date is 60 to 70% as far as my experience is concerned.

Even after revoking manual penalty, it takes months to stabilize. Google keep revoked websites under observation for sometime. It short, even after removal of penalty, you are not our of Google penalty for months. This is confirmed by John Mueller, Google Trends Analyst in Europe, was responding to a post made on the Google help forums who was filing for reconsideration request after disavowing links. While a lot of the discussion from other users revolved around the nuances of continuing to disavow links while filing for reconsideration requests, John Mueller mentioned :

"Finally, looking at your site’s history, it looks like you’ve done quite a bit for quite some time, and it looks like our algorithms have picked up on that too. So while resolving the manual action is a good way to start, you need to keep in mind that it can possibly take quite some time for our algorithms to regain trust in your site even after that."

So, there are no real time frames in deed. Try to recover current website and starting a new website is not a bad idea, who knows, with quality Link-building, robust On Page, consistent Blogging & social media sharing, you would rank your keywords earlier than old website!

I am With you on bad URL Configuration. I think it should be Properly Configured as It will Also Help Visitors coming from Search Engine as well as Search Engines as well..

It has a Very Simple Solution : Make More Optimized URL's and Redirect these indexed pages to the New One's.

I also checked your Blog URLs and Man it looks horrible. You need to make them Better Optimized.

I will Recommend you to do Internal linking. If you go to Google Official Blog, you will see they interlink Alot.

Also, Penguin has nothing to do with Internal linking..

are concerned, no real issues.

• Same content. This is absolute disaster. You need to rewrite content for websites. Make it unique for each one. You can use this: copyscape.com. Learn more about it: http://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content
• Use different Meta Tags for each website as well

Few things to consider

• Domain Authority is low. Love to see few more back-links (Just 4 Links at moment)
• Meta Description of Home Page is too short. It should be around 100 to 160 Characters. Run Moz Audit and check other pages as well
• Love to see more social shares. Try to share your pages on Google Plus, Twitter, Facebook. Use tags to get pages shared by others

I have checked different combinations that could be keywords of a particular page and it's surprising to see right title tags for some keywords and different titles for some keywords.

My websites are ranking and improving! This is happening with Home Page of one website is well: metalrecyclers-brisbane.com.au!
