I Will recommend you to change your anchor text links to the image links. After Penguin you cannot build anchor text backlinks so do it with images..

Perfect example is Wooecommerce website they have alot of image backlinks and they are sitting on top spots.

It's unfortunate but very much true. I have experimented this with dozens of site

• Deleting thousands of artificial links
• Disavow links
• Fixing Anchors

but recovery is always not  measured up to expectations. I tried different with couple of sites (Penguin 2.1), I never remove back-links

• Just build more quality links

and recovery is far better.

I feel, deleting even spamy links leads to loss of link juice which brings things further down for a while.

You team did most of good things

• Fixing On Page Issues
• Removing Low Quality, Anchor Based Links (Manually or Disavow)
• 3 to 4 Blogs Posts per week

You have done all things recommended by experts but you miss a big thing

• Generating More Quality links

By deleting or disavowing hundreds of links, lots of link juice had been dropped. you need to build more quality links like

• Few Quality Guest Posts (Non Anchor Based For Sure)
• Few Top Business Directories (Yellow Page, Yelp, Merchant Circle etc)
• If its is a local business, few quality local directories (State-wise or City-wise)
• Lots of Social Sharing (Google Plus especially)
• Goolge Plus Local Page if not yet
• May be Google Authorship if feasible

and others. This will neutralize power lost due to removed links.

How do you assume that Home Pages are not indexed?

Your Onpage Looks Good as You have keyword in title and on the Page content. So Its all down to Some strong backlinks and You will Probably be on First page.

You can either use Yoast (Which you have already installed) or All in one SEO pack. Both works good to use non indexing robots.

Few things that can help

1. Linking: Try to link your blogs posts with other similar pages or posts of your websites. Internal linking impacts a lot. I even suggest some external links (with no-follow tag) to relevant authority sources (Wikipedia or others).
2. Remove Meta section in sidebar. This looks bit unprofessional in deed
3. You have some external links in your posts without no-follow tag. This is not recommended. Please make them no-follow i.e
4. External links should be opened in new tabs. Right now, it's just an open way to navigate away from your blog. use this tag:

You can set

• Width, Height, Show faces, Border, Color, Stream

You will get 2 codes

Code 1: Javascript, you will have to place within your body. May be in footer or header

Code 2: Where you wan to place it either in sidebar or footer or anywhere!

That's a way!

Depending upon authority, other pages are getting indexed earlier than yours. Best thing to avoid this thing

1. Submit Your Sitemap in Webmaster Tools to make your indexing fast
2. Whenever you add a blog post, make it indexed through this Google Tool: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url This works pretty quick.
3. Socialize your blog post immediately

Still I strongly believe

• Your competitor is not going to stick for long. He will be washed out in next update which I am sensing very shortly

But I get surprised sometimes

• It is easy to build such links and get ranked for 2 or 3 months. Get hit and build another website and get ranked for next few months as well. Is it not hurting to companies that are doing right things from years and get outranked by such websites?
