I have a same problem with my 3 websites that Google is not showing right title tags of inner pages of my websites

One common thing is all these websites is

A part of it. Sometimes, I get confused. Let me recall

• Google spammed millions of websites on April, 2012 (Penguin 1) on account of low quality directories (I got an email from an eCommerce Store which was penalized by Unnatural Notice. Somehow we could not make agreement. But I analyzed his back-links. Just hundreds and hundreds of low quality directories nothing else)
• On 20th Oct, 2013. I got email from same source with amazing words "We have started to get leads from our website suddenly. We havn't done anything on it in last 1 and half year. We are ranking on many keywords as well"

Directory Submission was crushed and now we can see directories pages ranking even for competitive keywords.

Similarly, Guest Blogging (Particularly For SEO Purposes) was promoted too much in last 1 year and I was anticipating this from last couple of months. Finally, it comes. Don't worry. Guest blogging will be revived in next few updates;)

Guest Blogging for branding purposes (Nofollow Linking) will not be penalized by the way!

As far as links pointing to other pages of website, no problems as they belongs to internal linking which is nice in deed!

But for links pointing to other websites (Clients), please apply no-follow attribute to them as they are currently passing authority of your website and this is not an ideal thing!

• Just 21 Referring Domains

Try to link with more. Your Anchors are non-money which is a good thing in deed but you can use your Brand as Anchor "FS Studio" This will help to get visible on Google for your brand name.

Linking GP listing to citations is good idea. It's gonna help. Few more things that can push

1. Try to get reviews on GP. Push your customers to give reviews. That will help for sure
2. Try to activate Google Plus Local Page Associated. Do regular posts, try to get more Google Plus for your page. This will be going to help

Building citations will strengthen your Google Place/Google Plus Local Page. With Humming Bird, Google loves to see Google Plus Activation. So, keep on sharing your pages, blogs on your Google Plus Local Page (Use Tags) and it will benefit your overall SEO cause!

So, building citations is not worthless. It gonna help you indirectly!

If you have recently added your website to Google Webmaster Tools, this could be due to www & non.www issue. Might be, you have submitted http://www.abc.com where most of back-links built on http://abc.com. Remove this one and try to add other version. This could be your case!

Fixing On Page Issues is a strong step but websites that were hit on 4th Oct,2013, need to work on few things rather than 1

• On Page Fixes (You have already done, Good Job)
• Back-links
• Social Sharing

Back-links

• Check and fix Anchors: If Money Anchors are more than 40 to 50%. This could be the immediate things to fix (Either Manually or Through Disavow)
• Check Diversity: Too many links from one or 2 sources seems to be unnatural. Analyze and fix
• Compare Local V/s Global: More local links like local directories, local blogs, local forums, better it is. If you are New York Based Business, it's always better to get links from new York Directories, Blogs, News etc.
• Check Sitw-wide v/s Non-Sitewide Links
• Check pointing links in terms of Home Page V/s Inner Pages. Better to have mix not too much on Home Page

Social Sharing

• This is crucial
• Be social. Get more Google Plus, Facebook, Twitter etc shares of website pages. Use hash tags to engage audience to get more real shares and likes to website pages
• Activate Google Plus Local Page of your business

All above points are assumptive. If you can point out your website URL, I can refer real  time issues.

I am analyzing and working on recovery of some sites that were hit by Penguin 2.1 on 4th Oct, 2013. I have done almost all fixes including

• Anchor Variations
• Social Sharing
• Local Links
• Diversity in Back-links

but still not witnessed any real recovery.

Is anyone witnessed

• Partial or Complete Recovery From Penguin 2.1?

Hey Alan,

Reducing footer links is certainly a good idea. Using lots of footer links is an outdated SEO Technique. Yes, adding text links is really a good and recommended thought!

It's not gonna affect your rankings. You can give links from other navigations like sidebar. If you are redesigning website, you must see this video of Rand: http://moz.com/blog/what-should-i-put-on-the-homepage-whiteboard-friday. It will help for sure!

You can't submit reconsideration request if not got any manual penalty and in deed, you don't need to!

You must be victim of Penguin 2.1 which is alogrithmic penality which can't be reconsidered by request! You have already disavowed links. I analyze your back-links, try to disavow by considering following lines

1. Almost 70% Money Anchors: This is the biggest issue. Bring it down to around 10 to 20% at maximum. Have a look: http://screencast.com/t/0dE6gJSbg
2. Referring Domains:  There are some referring domains that are in deed quality ones but I can see lots of low qualities directories, articles directories (Reputation of Spun Content Approval), Wheel links. These are not going to help anymore

Remarks

• Try to fix above issues manually or most probably through disavow tool
• Run Moz or Raven Tool and fix On Page issues if any
• Build More Natural Links (Top Business Directories (Yellow Pages, Merchant Circle etc, Few Press Releases, Few Guest Posts (Try to link in content) & others
• Get a blog going. Add information, related people are looking for. If you will answer problems of your niche, you are going to get lots of referrals & leads.
• Push social sharing

I think We just need to be smart in guest blogging.

You don't need to Post your Links in the author area going forward and just add links in the body of Articles and If We add links to some other sources then It will be even Good.

Just Make it Look Natural with images, links to other creditable sources thats all.

It does not look Good Man. You have all most all backlinks Coming from Low quality Forums. You need to delete them or just disavow them.

There are few Ways to Drive Traffic To the Website :

1- PPC

2- SEO

3- Referral Traffic from Related blogs/forums

4- Social Media.

Looking at your Blog, I feel the best way for you to get Traffic is by Going to Related forums and helping people out. Obv. you will have your Blog link in the footer area.

Also, Do actively Perform in Social media like Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. Follow people with your interest and Keep sharing your blog post in your Social profile.

A bit of hard work But will get Good traffic to your Website for Free.
