I just want it to filter through UK not US but can't seem to find the place to locate this. don't really want to have to start a new campaign either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am an inhouse SEO and it can be a tough challenge to relationship build and deliver inbound links to your site.
We are in the luck position of dealing with a lot of universities and we are slowly getting links from their sites, by giving them high quality content and offering more from our products.
We have been building case studies on each site that we have sold too, and this is gaining momentum. We look to produce content that they will want to boast about, so how they have saved money, time, cash and the environmental benefts of our products (always a good one) by using our products. This seems to be working for us.
We also are looking into developing webpages that our customers can put on their sites that give their users access to a resource of information regarding our products, in that content we will embed links.
I'm not hugely technical so i have always approached my seo/link building from the perspective of providing great content, simply as i don't think gaming links is a way to go , and i don't know how to do it.
It's a cliche and one i have mentioned many times in this post, but put the hard work in and slowly it will pay off, great content, and good links that will last are hard to come by, but are worth it. My rankings have shot up from getting a few but select links from high authority domains.
I would agree with Adam.
Create two separate sections for both states and then add some really good content in those sections, with good on page optimisation, and then begin link building for those pages.
you should get an email once the crawl is complete, i get one each time my site is crawled.
in terms of what to do next that is kind of upto you? SEOmoz will give you the tools and if you check the blog it will give you plenty of information to implement an SEO strategy, but its down to you to put it into place.

not sure about the monetization part but i would host them on your own site.
if the content is good enough then that will get shared and linked too, thus sending people straight to the site to view it, where you could, if you wished place ads. You will also benefit from not sending people off-site to youtube or vimeo and increasing the chance of them not completing one of your calls to action, whatever they may well be.
This is a rather open ended question without more details, and without the details there are many reasons why your site isn't yet ranking.
To give a more accurate and focussed response I would need to know what keywords you wanted to rank for, your URL and any other pertinent bits of information you may find useful then I could take a look.
I would definetely advise against outsourcing your link building.
It's much better to do it internally where processes can be managed, and good ethical standards can be maintained.
I agree with Mike, do it yourself and reap the rewards.
