Same Back Links To All 20 Pages On My Site?
Hi there, from what I understand of your premise, you are asking whether you should create multiple backlinks from the same sources to each of your 20 pages. There are 2 issues you have to contend with here: Backlink density and propogation As far as acquiring links goes, the key factor here is not so much the number of links you acquire, but the quality they provide your site. After gaining a link to your domain from another domain, the value of future links to your domain from the same domain diminishes, making this an extremely poor expenditure of resources on your part. For example, Google wants to see multiple domains linking to individual pages on your site rather than the same sources connecting to your site over and over on different pages. This approach is just more natural in its appearance. Here is an updated guide to general link-building. I think this would do you some good: http://moz.com/blog/category/link-building Backlink locality Since you operate a website purely in the U.K., links from outside your country will likely be less relevant geographically if they come from other countries, but the pages being linked may not matter. For example, blogs involving tips to fix a leaky faucet or a clogged drain are likely to be equally valid regardless of who writes them or from where. On the other hand, if your site is attempting to find customers for a plumbing client of yours, it doesn't make sense to get links from plumbing material manufacturers in Texas if you work in the U.K. To illustrate this, here is a personal favorite of mine from Rand: http://moz.com/blog/10-illustrations-on-search-engines-valuation-of-links See also: http://moz.com/blog/are-on-topic-links-important-whiteboard-friday (on-topic vs. off-topic links) In short, stick to 1 link per domain to your site unless there is something extremely relevant to your site and you feel the extra effort of building that link is worth it. Links built from UK sources are likely to be more valuable to your overall, but you can also find relevant information and data from international sources depending on the topic (in this case, informational pieces, perhaps in regards to DIY plumbing projects). Hope this helps and feel free to follow up with further questions, Rob

Omega8.cc decided to block rogerbot
Your best bet may actually be to run a Crawl Test using this tool. It'll crawl up to 3000 pages of any given domain, and report back in much the same way as the weekly crawl. That one should still run as scheduled.

Will Google Also Penalize Desktop Rankings If Your Site is Not Mobile Friendly?
Hi Eric, You've received some great responses here! All are spot-on (as far as one can be answering this question at this time, that is.) You may also be interested to know that Dr. Pete has answered this question here in the forum at http://moz.com/community/q/google-s-mobile-update-what-we-know-so-far-updated-3-25. He actually posted a Q&A of common questions about the mobile update, taking new questions in the discussion thread, and updating the original Q&A post as new information becomes available. Christy

Do authority brand (business name) anchor text links still drive SEO rankings?
Brand or domain anchor text links are far more natural than keyword anchor text. Gaining links that are brand or raw domain from an authority site will benefit your sites authority. I always look at it like this - if you didn't know anything about SEO and you liked a site that you wanted to link to and this site sold blue widgets for example would you link via the domain/brand name or by entering "blue widgets"? You would go with the more obvious, easier option domain or brand - hence this is far more natural in the eyes of Google and far more likely to have been earned naturally. Increasing authority is all about earning links not (dare I say it..) link building. Focus on creating great content and making people aware of it then the links will start to come naturally. SEO isn't a quick fix, so approach this with a strategy looking to build a quality online presence and establish a relevant audience for your site through social and other channels.

Are there any noob sites that might enlighten me to how everyone earns income here?
I don't have clients. I work on my own websites. Some are retail monetized by sales, some are informational monetized by ads. The best place to start with ads is Google Adsense. Their website has all of the information that you need and lots of sample websites to learn how itworks. To make money that way you need to produce content of high enough quality that it attracts an audience or attracts a lot of traffic from search and social.

Exporting data
There was another thread created just three hours ago on the same thing - http://moz.com/community/q/how-to-export-data You can also try the search feature. But it depends on what you want to export, I'd recommend looking in the above thread. You could be able to do it all via the custom report section if you don't mind pdfs.

Over Optimization and how to fix it
There is a new Doorway pages algorithm coming that could potentially catch this kind of optimization out. Unfortunately, until it is released it is difficult to say how severe it will be. Brand page meta tag
Hi there, Alick is right about this - you want to make your brand and keywords prominent in your Title tags and Meta Descriptions. Generally speaking, as long as these change from page to page (i.e. "Brand"), you will be okay. We performed work for a client recently who was using default dynamic tags for their Meta data and were suffering penalties for it due to the overlapping duplicate issues. When we instituted the solution Alick mentions above, we cut those problems out of the equation very quickly. Rather than worry about the Meta data, it sounds like you should be looking at optimizing your site structure for crawling and determining your leading brands - just a suggestion. Hope it works out and feel free to get in touch if you have further questions, Rob

Duplicate Meta Tag error
The results of your internal search tool are all fully indexable, which is creating hundreds of variations of very similar pages based on the user's search term and the filtering options they select. Alick300 is correct that dynamically inserting the search term into the title and description tag is a problem - it means that the possibilities for individual pages and title tags being created are pretty much endless. I usually recommend adding the meta tag
