OSE not picking up all internal links?
Doubtful. Running a site:holidayhypermarket.co.uk search in Google returns 10,700 results, plus from the help documentation on OSE it says, "The second thing to keep in mind that the exported data will only include the top 25 pages per linking root domain," from: http://moz.com/help/guides/research-tools/open-site-explorer/top-pages-ose So by design it's not really a tool that's trying to duplicate Google, rather make an actionable scaled down copy of what's going on.

Thoughts on HARO (help a reporter out)
Hi Audrey, It's very niche specific, sometimes you have to wait for months before the right opportunity comes up on HARO. That's why it could be part of your overall strategy but I would never ever completely rely on their services. Like Eslam mentioned it's probably a better idea to create the best researches or content yourself to make sure the press will mention you. It seems really hard to get stories up with the biggest publishers in the world but in the end it's not that hard if you put the right effort in. Usually it takes less time in my experience then writing the average guest post.

Facebook adds a trailing slash to urls?
Are you seeing this when someone "likes" your page? When I copied your link and posted it to my Facebook, it worked just fine, and I'm not seeing it. In the Open Graph meta tags, used for better social sharing, you specific the URL there. Which means, you wouldn't need to change your canonicals, just your open graph tags. Also, Facebook can be weird due to caching, and they have an entire debugging tool to help you make your page show up correctly.

Will presentational HTML tags actually be having a negative SEO effect?
Thanks again Robert, I have been really trying to perfect our site so we can get the most from it. Judging by yours and others replies, it's as good as it's going to get and any more tinkering will be splitting hairs. Thanks for the info, onto other things

W3C Compliance - Still a ranking factor in 2015?
Hi Jamie, I was asked this question recently by a client and my response was that as long as your site can be crawled efficiently and read by Google having a w3c compliant site won't make a difference to rankings. I also pointed out to them that amazon.co.uk - has nearly 400 errors and over 100 warning when you run it through w3c validation tool but they do well in the SERPs!

WHY still Moz OSE doesn't show updated data DA, PA & overall backlinks whereas Ahrefs.com shows all?
Hi Jordan, Yes you are right, "Ahrefs and Majestic focus more exclusively on furnishing a complete backlink profile" , but it doesn't seem to be right with the context you said that "our focus is specifically to provide data about your highly-authoritative backlinks" As I can see many many direct relevant & high athoritative domains they have linked with, it is not right you to say that we only follow to show highly-authoritative backlinks only, which is wrong in this case. What I can agree upon you as said "your campaign for that site has only been active for one index update" because as this domain is relatively new to the industry and there would be many chances this might have not fallen under your update during process. How to do Spam Link Analysis before posting a link?
Good advice Tom! I agree that no single metric (or even a combination) can replace the value you'll get from doing a manual analysis and using your brain to consider whether a site is a good, safe target or not.

Affiliates website, I need webpages linsk to study the topic
Hi Tom, I read your blog post on this. Very helpful. Just wondering though, why use Majestic to download a massive list of links? Wouldn't Moz do the same thing? And Moz even allows you to filter out those that do not pass value? Wouldn't that be a way to have Moz sift out a much smaller list that in theory would include all the affiliate links? As they should not be passing value because they are paid links?

Does my "spam" site affect my other sites on the same IP?
@Tom Roberts, your thinking is about on the same page as mine. I've always been suspect of "C-Blocks" as a ranking too. I don't use a CMS for this site, as I said it's all hard coded. Does the nofollow tag in the head section have the same effect as a nofollow on individual links? At least PHP could solve that issue pretty easily.

Https vs http two different domains?
ahh...thank you for your time I track the website in MOZ tools - that is where the list came from - it is a screen shot. Perhaps a MOZ staff member can shed some light on the issue? I could not replicate it either. Confused ?!?

Q&A Question showing as answered when it is not
Thanks. But from what I read elsewhere, and what I am seeing I think it is unrelated to rogerbot being caught in the firewall and more likely a https SSL certificate issue.

The files aren't duplicate. I am familiar with using the XRobots tag. I was really just curious if my theory would work. Thanks for all your input.

Best way to upload products to Magento?
I looked at Magneto many years ago and I think it was one that was kind of spun off of oscommerce. If that is true there is a plug-in called easy populate that lets you do just as Monica suggested. Even if not Magneto is so widely used now there has to be a plugin for it. Easy populate allowed you to download or upload files via CSV files which can be easily made in Excel or OpenOffice. Hope it helps, Don
