Find all external 404 errors/links?
If you dont have access to the logs that could be an issue - not really any automated tools out there as it would need to crawl every website and find 404 errors. I haven't tried this - so its just an idea. Go into GSC download all the links pointing to your site (and from places like Moz, Ahrefs, Majestic) and then chuck that list of urls into Screaming Frog or URL Profiler and look at external links and see if any are returning a 404. Not sure if this would work - its just an idea. Thanks Andy

404's after pruning old posts
Hi, You can simply leave them alone. Google will 'learn' that those URLs are all dead and remove them from the index. There's no need to robots.txt them out, or do 301s. Adding 2,500 301 redirects would have a significant impact on your page load time that isn't worth the risk. If the removed posts are showing up in Search Console, it means the crawlers are still finding them somehow. So you should do the following: The one exception to my 301 comment above is this: if you have good external links pointing to any of the posts you removed, you should redirects those to the next most relevant post Update your XML to exclude any of the removed posts Updated internal linking: if you have internal links that point to the removed posts, update those destination URLs Hope that helps!

Developing supporting content for main ideas
As long as all the pages have real value (and it sounds like you have that covered) I think it makes sense to have an index of all webinars, AND to link a webinar to a blog post or other piece of content if it expands on the ideas in that post or page. Depending on the goals and path of the user, both options should provide value.

Rebranding & Responsive design. What first? Or do both at the same time?
Hi there! I have to agree with Jordan. I would tackle both the rebranding and the responsive website separately, that way if there are any issues with the redirects at any point in the transition process, it will be easier to pinpoint the problem and correct it in a time-efficient manner. Doing both at the same time could end up being extremely complicated/overwhelming.

How to optimise Youtube videos
Hi Catherine, I am pretty sure the only way of doing this is by manually going through the video & adding he subtitles manually, it is the most accurate way as the automated process can make mistakes & leave a bad user experience. When logged into YouTube Navigate To >> Creator Studio > Video Manager >> Click the video you wish to edit >> Create subtitles or cc >> select your language. Run through the video & add the subtitles manually. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2734796?hl=en Another step would be adding a link to the landing page where the videos are embedded in order for users to link to your site & service offering. Video sitemaps can also be added to your site to improve your visibility.

How to handle Moz reported Spam external links
Hi Praveen, Additional to this, my this answer to a similar question might help you define the quality of the links. https://moz.com/community/q/how-do-you-handle-a-site-with-inherited-negative-links-but-no-penalty#reply_350787 Do check spam links manually, sometimes tools can generate false spam report based on their own metrics and you might lose a valuable link which might be bringing real target traffic to your website. Feel free to respond and ask any questions further. Regards, Vijay

Number of keywords for single page website
You can optimize and create your landing page content however you see fit. If you want to optimize the content for more than one keyword, go ahead! The most important thing to remember is not to overstuff your content with keywords—but utilizing multiple keywords can definitely help this. Before focusing on very specific keywords that you think are the most important for the industry, make sure that these are the keywords that people are actually searching. You should be writing content that attracts and helps users. You need to write for what they want to hear, not necessarily what you want to share.

Not Provided alternative ??
Hi The search Analytics in Search Console is now the only true way of finding out what key terms are driving traffic to your site. The big differences between the two: you used to be able to drill down and see which keywords we're converting you could see which pages the users was landing on You can have an educated guess about the second issue - but can't do the first. In terms of how reliable the data is - its pretty accurate I would say its as accurate as the data was in GA, do I trust it 100% nope - but i never trusted the data 100% in GA. I use it to inform decision but don't use it as my only source of information. Other ways to see what your ranking for is to use third party tools such as SearchMetrics and while this might give you which page ranks, it estimates CTR and traffic so is less reliable that Search Console. Hope this is useful for you, if not feel free to get in touch. Thanks Andy
