Content Organization/ Prioritization
I think one issue you are having is targeting the same keywords on multiple pages. I would recommend doing some extensive keyword research with Moz and mapping all your keywords to their appropriate urls or landing pages. Build out a keyword map and write content accordingly. One quick solution for your "just-listed" pages you could canonicalize them to the neighborhood page or target different keywords on that page. Hope that helps some.

Googlebots and cache
Google won't see the local version (I assume your site is UK based) - Googlebot is visiting with an IP from California & will see the "international" version of your site. They indicate that they have bots visiting the site from other IP addresses (local aware crawling) - but to be honest, if I check the server logs of our sites (based in FR & ES) I only find visits from US IP's. If the international version has only minor differences to the local version it shouldn't be a major problem - if they are major differences it's probably better to find another solution. This could be creating a different version of your site (which could be overkill), or presenting international visitors the choice on first visit (local version/international version). You store the choice in a cookie & personalise the content on the pages based on the cookie value. This way, Google would see the "local" version of the site. Hope this helps, Dirk

(301 Redirect) Link Spam Score: 10/17
Hey there Charles, Sam from Moz's Help Team here! To be completely transparent, the Spam Scores you see in Open Site Explorer are from data collected last year. That means some of the issues listed there might no longer apply to you, or they might have been fixed as you've worked on your site. If you know you've taken care of the issues, then you shouldn't need to worry about the spam flags any longer. We actually don't include any 301s when we crawl a site to assign spam score. The score you see now for the 301 would be from an old crawl that will eventually disappear from the index. Additionally, just because our tool has assigned a site a specific spam score does not mean it is impacting the site in any way. These are merely suggestions of sites to check out. If you haven't determined yourself that they are spammy links, then there is no action or further concern required on your part.

My competitor pushed me down the SERP out of nowhere. How do I fix this?
This can be anything but I'm suggesting to do comparison: links, anchors, content on your website and his website. Then with data you should improve your website. Can content be better? Correct it. Can links be better/stronger? Add them. Etc etc... I know this looks like general advise but if you need help with comparing top10 websites with your website, can help you. There're more possibilities than penguin.

Sitemap Query
Hi, It's ideal if your XML sitemap is an accurate representation of URLs you want indexed, i.e. the canonical versions. If you're using Screaming Frog to manually build your sitemaps, you make sure the 'Include Canonicals' button is unchecked. Doing so will trigger Screaming Frog to automatically leave out any URLs that canonicalize towards another URL, thus solving your problem.

If Product Pages Perform Well In Google then Is It Possible That Category Page Can perform Well In Google?
Yep. There's certainly nothing to stop them from ranking, and if you're already doing well with product pages, then it's an indication your category pages should also do reasonably well. Obviously you'll want to optimise for at the category level (e.g. Ladies Leather Jackets, rather than a specific jacket name or type), and there may be more competition. But obviously by going for broader terms, there's the opportunity to attract a lot more traffic. In general when I work with eCommerce sites, I always tend to work from individual products up where possible, so as far as I'm concerned you're doing it in the right order...

Raising a page in search engines - My plan - Thoughts...
Step 1 should really start off with something more along the lines of "Create a page around a product or service we provide. Determine related search terms, expanded terms, relevant informational queries, FAQ questions, LSI terms, etc. that could be used to enhance content of the page and draw traffic." Don't create a page for a single term. Create a page because it actually provides the user/customer/visitor with something worthwhile and relevant that you provide/offer. Step 2 should not be all about Social Media. SEO _is_how you get people to see/find your site. Social Media is a useful tool along side this but its more than just posting up a new page or a new blog post two or three times a week to your Company Page and somehow magically drawing in millions of followers... its about building a community, conversing with the community and related pages, cross-promotion, making yourself into an industry leader and authority on relevant related subjects. Now, if this is more of a B2B operation then you might want to consider a few other things. Because when thinking about it from that perspective you'll want to do some research about the major social networks and forums that members of that industry use. While Facebook, Google Plus, & Twitter seem like great ways to push out a new site page and to start getting some traction, if all your industry professionals who would care about your information are on LinkedIn and PartnerUp then you'll want to prioritize that. Or if they congregate around a handful of G+ community or Facebook pages then you'll want to work towards being able to post your information there and/or be posted by the admins & users of those groups. Press Releases sound nice but make sure that its a good, legitimate press release service. Back in the day there were tons of these services out there and they were really good at getting your post on one or two decent sites.... and 300 crap sites... all of which were 'useful' at the time but definitely lead to some headaches involving disavows when that became a thing. Just because your content is being syndicated across a whole bunch of sites doesn't mean that its necessarily a good thing... for all you know, the bulk of those pages are buried so deep and NoIndexed instead of having a cross-domain canonical to the 'original' so there's no traffic to & through it and no equity being gained. And hell, since it could be creating 300 instances of duplicate content and most of those sites probably do the same for tons of other 'clients'... those links you do get will potentially be from low quality, low domain authority, and fairly spammy sites. Step 4 sounds fine. You might also want to look into something like HARO (https://www.helpareporter.com/), offer up an article to a relevant business journal as an editorial (and don't try to 're-sell' that article to multiple sites with 'a couple tweaks'), reach out to leaders in related industries for legitimate cross-promotional opportunities, look into opportunities to speak with or offer insight to the writers of relevant industry blogs, etc.

When moving a site from HTTP to HTTPS, will i lose value from the 301 redirect?
Sean and Logan are right... if you properly redirect http URLs to https URLs on your site, you generally should not lose any search engine rankings as long as you're moving (and redirecting) on the same domain name. A couple of things to watch out for, though, that can cause a site to lose rankings if not done properly: verify all versions of the site in Google Search Console (http://, http://www, https:// and https://www) crawl your own site and change ALL URLs on the site, even references to image files and external files such as .js files, if you're using absolute and not relative URLs. set up only one redirect (multiple redirects can cause issues). Make sure the site doesn't redirect from http:// to http://www and then from http://www to https://www.. make sure your SSL certificate is set up properly (it's easy to screw it up so it gives errors if not set up properly).

Exclude sorting options using nofollow to reduce duplicate content
Ben, it sounds like it should work--but there are preferred methods that I would try before you use nofollow. Ideally, you should use the canonical tag on those pages, and not the nofollow tag. If someone were to link to one of those pages (sorting options), then you wouldn't get any credit passed onto the main page of the category. Using a canonical tag accomplishes what you're trying to do, and has greater benefits in the long run. Another option would be to get rid of the sorting options entirely, and not allow anyone to sort them (and remove the links to those sorting options, as well. If the sorting options don't exist, then there won't be any duplicate content generated.

Duplicate content with URLs
We create sites for customers that are in the same industry, but non-competing areas. We run into this as we use the same images on each site, but make them look unique. One way we address this is by simply changing the file name of the image before we upload it to the server as well as creating a unique ALT tag for the image. Google can't really see the image itself, so by giving it a unique name, URL and ALT tag, we've been successful at not having to worry. In your case, change this part of your image upload: var/news/storage/images/paris-match/people/kim-kardashian-sa-securite-n-a-pas-de-prix-1092112/15629236-1-fre-FR/Kim-Kardashian-sa-securite-n-a-pas-de-prix.jpg Then, give it a unique ALT such as "Kim Kardashian Paris Securite"

How to deal with duplicate pages on Shopify
This question been asked previosuly and here you can access it. In relation to deal with the issue, I agree with Bernadette, the best way to deal with those is to implement the canonical tags. Just make sure to use the following guidelines from the given URL. http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2011/09/pagination-with-relnext-and-relprev.html
