Duplicate Landing Pages showing up in search results
Hi Zack, I'm not sure if it is caused by the sitemap.xml, but the old URL is still in the sitemap.xml. You always should try to avoid having redirected URL's and error pages in the sitemap.xml. You can try to remove the URL from the sitemap and resubmit the sitemap in Google Search Console. André

Is repurposing an old sub domain better than creating a new sub domain?
Hi, Great question. Normally it is best to use an old sub domain. Said that, it will depend if it has good inbound links highly thematically related with the new products/content. I think it is not accurate that the url should contain an exact match to the products. It is best if it contains a comprehensive keyword as "a full picture" for products related to "art" in this case. When I face these facts I question myself, when a visitor will arrive, will he find the product/knowledge as I said in the page title and the meta description?. If so, I keep the sub domain and the pages of interest, as well.

Optimizing a Webpage without keywords
I would use data to back up any changes you would want to make. If you know organic traffic is starting to take a nose dive due to changes the team is currently making then pull some year-over-year before and after snapshots and show them the areas that are declining. Explain the importance of properly optimizing the pages you are working on and try to find some sort of middle ground.

Google ignoring the Title Tag?
I've seen the same happening when a title (tag) is too short, as Martijn says, Google provides the user with a more relevant title, in case the original title isn't. In my case the H2 on the page was used as it was probably more relevant than the title tag or H1.

Disavow links from legit sites but have spammy link profiles?
In my opinion those links have less "strenght" than from websites with better link profile. The question is what are the anchors, content around, other footprints? If they're good, not spammy, good anchors, content around, no footprints, etc etc then keep. However links on websites with high pa or da won't make them good everytime. They can be spammy and you can be penalized.

Does an Apostrophe affect searches?
Hi there! Search engines have gotten smarter in the past few years and should be able to determine that the keyword (with AND without an apostrophe) means the same thing. I wouldn't worry about the keywords you're tracking and the keywords you're using within your content if the only difference is the apostrophe usage.

Yes I have read almost every Google guideline and post about it. I guess I will delete the description from the organization as that text is not found as such in the page. Thanks for the answer and for the help during these days!! The Kilgray Team

Multi Location SEO Page Structure
Hi Mike, Thanks for the additional details. Okay, so I now understand that you have 2 physical locations and sell/rent a menu of products. You have 2 options. Option 1 You create a unique, strong landing page for each of your locations. This post explains the types of content you'll want to include on these pages. These pages overview your complete service menu, but focus highly on addition information that relates specifically to that locale. You'll want testimonials/reviews (see this post) and other types of persuasive content that engender trust in what your company does in that target city. Separately, you'll also create a set of pages for each of the services you offer. Describe each service in great detail on its own page. Link to these pages from the city landing pages and vice versa. You can mention locale on these pages, but the main focus should be on the items you rent/sell. Be sure all of the above pages are easily accessible from a top level menu. Continue to build out content on the site or attached blog over time. Option 2 You create a unique page for every possible keyword combination. So, you'd have a Memphis Floor Scrubber Rental page and a Nashville Floor Scrubber Rental page, and so on. You can take this approach, but only if you can avoid the pitfalls of redundancy/duplicate content. It's kind of old-school at this point to take this approach. Unless you can find a very strong reason to create all of the pages for the good of users, this method can be a bit of an overkill and can often result in a low quality site with a lot of thin or duplicate content instead of a high quality site with best-in-class pages. So... I typically prefer Option one for small-to-medium businesses, with maximum effort being put into making the smaller set of pages very high quality. And don't forget to link all of your citations for the Nashville location to your Nashville page, and the same goes for Memphis. Hope this helps

How many links per week/month should a link building campaign acquire?
What do you do to determine the quality of a site to acquire a link from? Is it just a Moz score of 50 or more? Is it just a link from an industry you are targeting? We are a B2B Company, so we feel we can link to a diverse range of industries and topics. Some times I look at a company with a Moz DA of 30 and think it is a good link to acquire because we want to sell to that industry. Sometimes even more so than another link I acquire that might have a Moz DA of 50. I never link to sites that dont make sense for our business.industry. Is this a good strategy or should I keep my focus on the high Moz DA first? Thanks for any help. I realize this response is kind of jumping all over the place.

In Google Search Results ....Is it a site link or what? How to get this?
Organic sitelinks in the SERPs are an automated feature. The best way to try to get them to show up (no guarantees) is to have good, quality content; ensure that your internal linking structure is done well; have a proper sitemap; and breadcrumbs may potentially help. Even then, they may only show up for very specific searches. I've found that getting them to show up for your branded searches tends to be easiest. You are able demote sitelinks that you don't want showing up in Search Console but you can't pick and choose which exact ones you do want showing up. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/47334?hl=en

Checklist for moving a site from non-www to www?
Will this be on the same domain? If yes then: make sure you verified all properties in GSC: www and non www of your domain fetch all links from Google search results with some tools like scrapebox scan entire website page by page and make a list of all pages/posts/etc (you'll need them later) go to wp dashboard - settings - general and change there from non www to www wp address url and site address url (probably you have to login again after) empty cache if you have cache scan again your entire website and check if there're links pointing to non www version of your domain (probably will be redirected automatically but save this list) correct them - in most cases they were manually added combine lists of links: from Google and from your scan; remove duplicates; make sure all are non www do 301 test with tool like scraming frog to see if all non www pages are redirected with 301 to www pages without errrors combined list of links sent to reindex to speed up the process - you need some indexing software or service no need to set preferred domain but if you wish?
