Why blog pages are not ranking in Google search?
Hi Jenifer30, I just did a search for "fundindias blog" and it produced as your first result your blog's home page and it listed underneath it sitelinks to 6 of your blog's categories. Not sure if are seeing this when you search or not. In terms of individual blog posts ranking, have you tried creating some links to individual posts? Many times people put an amazing amount of effort to building the content for their blog but neglect to create links to them. That usually helps quite a bit. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Kevin

Need to solve "Oops our crawlers were unable to access" url for new campaign
Hey there! Sam from Moz's Help Team here! I've taken a look at that URL, and from what I can see it looks like we're running into a 403 error which means that ultimately, access to that URL is forbidden: http://www.screencast.com/t/UbMwIrjuQFG This 403 error is coming directly from your server, so at this point the best thing to do will be to send this information to your client/their web dev. They'll need to make sure our crawler (rogerbot) is whitelisted, so our tools can start working hard for you, and that you aren't blocking AWS (Amazon Web Services) on the server level. I hope this helps - if you have any other questions, feel free to pop a message over to help@moz.com

SERPs started showing the incorrect date next to my pages
Yeah, I'd do the same. Another option would be (if it is your video) to re-upload the video to YouTube, that way it gets a new very recent date.

How vital is it to get rid of spam links?
Ok, that's good to know. I think for now, I"ll leave them alone, unless there's one that seems really irrelevant. Thanks to both of you for your help.

We have 2 versions of URLs. we have the mobile and the desktop. is that a duplicate content?
Hi Armen, Taken into account that these mobile pages are not the AMP variant of them I would say this might become an issue. In the end you're improving the user experience but as you're doing it by creating two pages which are the same based on the content you're not doing the best from the SEO perspective. What I would do is look into using the canonical tags back to one of the two: either mobile or desktop. By doing that you'll make sure that there is only 1 variant of every page out there for SEO. Hi Miriam, Thanks for the input. I will continue to look into this. I am amazed by the short amount of resources on this! In fact I was a bit perplexed as I thought I was searching with incorrect terms. If I discover something of value will share it. Thanks, Conrad

Anchor text optimisation
For internal links, just keep them relevant so people know what the link is before even clicking on it. If you have a guide on how to write page titles, make the internal anchor something like "guide to page titles". As for external backlinks, if they're editorial links that someone else is posting, it's usually best to just leave this up to the site owner since they're going to make it relevant anyway. The best way to have a natural looking anchor text profile is to make it natural! If you have to control the anchors (e..g directories or a guest post) then we typically lean toward this priority order: Your brand name Your URL Your primary keyword(s) That means that if you did web design and the name was "ProWeb", your anchor text profile would probably look something like this, in order of highest to lowest volume: ProWeb Pro Web http://www.proweb.com www.proweb.com Web Design Website Design webdeign You will get all kinds of variations like mis-spellings, "read more", "click here" etc as well but you get the picture. I hope that helps! Just make sure you don't have your keywords as the most common anchors - it's pretty obvious spam!

Infinite Scrolling on Publisher Sites - is VentureBeat's implementation really SEO-friendly?
Totally agreed, Daniel! I'd also say it's our job to set expectations and be clear about when something is a test vs when something will more than likely work. Consulting is all about setting expectations!

Silly Question still - Because I am paying high to google adwords is it possible google can't rank me high in organic?
The other comments here are correct; Adwords will not alter your organic rankings. The issue here may be something else entirely. You mentioned that your onsite factors are better than the competition and both your site and your top competition have few backlinks. It sounds like that should basically put you on an even playing field there roughly (though it depends on link quality too) so perhaps there are some holes in your onsite that could be addressed. You also mentioned that your engagement metrics like time on site and page views are better than the competition. Assuming you're getting this info from something like SEMrush, it could simply be that you're relying on inaccurate data to make your decisions. SEMrush is great to give basic information but it isn't 100% accurate. If you're comfortable dropping a link to your website I'd be happy to take a much closer look for you and offer some helpful feedback? If you don't want that link public you can PM me if you prefer.

Backlinks with high DA but PA1
Hello there, Remember that PA1 means that the page was not crawled by moz or it doesnt have anything of linkbuilding seen by moz. The question about passing linkjuice, is tricky. Every link passes linkjuice (some more, some less). You should focus in whether the link is ok to be there. The first check you must do is analyze for some spam flags in that page, or if it is a relevant&related topic with your site. That "PA ca go up by promoting the page" is not right. Moz's gives a number in their metrics in a 90% based on the backlink profile of that page/domain. (speking about PA, DA). Here some resources: What is Page Authority(PA)? - Begginers guide to linkbuilding - Moz - Targeted Link Building in 2016 - Whiteboard Friday Best luck! GR.

Linking from & to in domains and sub-domains
np, you don't want to assume things. this is what Matt Cutts said in 2012: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MswMYk05tk It is still advisable that most websites out there rather rely on pages and subdirectories for regular pages and content than subdomains, but nowadays it is a highly subjective thing, basically suit yourself on it. But keep in mind the simple formula for decision making: Pros v Cons... which outweighs which and why. subdomains can certainly cause you, the owner and web dev, more work and impose a higher "moving parts" risk under most typical circumstances where /page is a viable alternative. also look at these https://moz.com/community/q/link-juice-from-subdomain https://moz.com/community/q/getting-mixed-signals-regarding-how-google-treats-subdomains
