How does Google treat Content hidden in click-to-expand tabs?
To add on to Andy's advice, imagine yourself using a website--are you more likely to engage in something that has a wall of text or do you prefer to see something that you can interact with as necessary? I'd recommend using your most important keywords in the h2s and using the expandable content areas for UX. That way, you're getting the best of both worlds.

804 SSL Quesiton
Hello there! Jo from Moz support here. This is an issue specific to our crawler. Unfortunately at this time our crawler isn't compatible with Server Name Indication (SNI), which appears to be in use on your site. In general, SNI is a totally acceptable security configuration, but our crawler simply isn't equipped to be able to handle these settings. The good news is that our team has been working hard on a new crawler that will support this configuration which currently in its Beta phase. I recommend heading over to this thread for the latest updates. If you're interested in being a part of the beta testing, the link to the sign up page is here: http://goo.gl/forms/LCvL9Ix8JDHfbAvr1. Our team will be in contact after you've filled out that form when we are ready to add additional users into the Beta. We will be rolling the new crawler out to all of our users once it's out of it's Beta phase, but I don't have an exact timeframe of when that will be at this time as it's still being worked on. In the meantime, I apologize for the inconvenience and let me know if you have any questions or need any additional clarification. Cheers! Jo

Is it possible to rank a second site, for my buisness, for the same location?
I have had clients request to build two sites at once, launch them, and see which one is favored more in Google's eyes. Same thing with individual pages-- "G" seems to like one and bury the other. Building one on the side when the existing site is already indexed is probably going to be a risky venture.

Community Discussion: How is Your Brand Scaling Effective Email Outreach?
Have to confess: Track, Test, Tweak, Repeat is legit. Similar to my Refine, Revise, Repeat for content creation and amplification. So often we hear that something or another didn't work, when in reality the brand or the individual either didn't optimize the experience for the desired outcome, didn't have clear, defined goals in place or lacked the ability to track the effort's performance. What I love about email is it's easy to track. From there, it's all about the TTR RS

My DA has stayed at 1 for an entire year.
I got a response from someone at Moz over an email and they confirmed this to be true. They don't support custom Top Level Domains, so they can't crawl ".kitchen" - Thanks everyone!

Excellent. I have to say, the number of schema they offer is bewildering. Glad to hear you're sorted.

Not showing up in search results for non-branded terms
Hello, thanks for your suggestion! I've double checked all of these items. The only ones I needed to take action on were: #4 - some of the internal links in our oldest blog posts were still linking to the http:// version, so I installed https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/ to automatically fix those hyperlinks site-wide. #6 - I updated a couple URLs in our Twitter bio and Facebook page. I can see how fixing these two issues could help improve our site's rankings, but I'm still doubtful that these two issue have caused our site to be completely unfindable for non-branded terms on search engines though. Would love to hear any other ideas people have!

How to fix directions to a place on Apple Maps, when the location itself is correct.
Hey Patrick! Your link is taking me to a login screen for Apple Maps. Could you try to surface that link again for us? Thanks!

"Moz encountered an error on one or more pages on your site" Error
If you want to be doubly sure, you can try Fetch as Google (under Crawl) in Search Console. And you can also try crawling with a 3rd party tool such as Screaming Frog (https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/) If these respond appropriately, it may be worth trying a crawl again, later (as the Crawl Test suggests) - it may just be a temporary glitch in the matrix. Update us if things don't settle down or you get unexpected results following above. Client in Scotland wants to rank for France term
What Hurf said is almost perfect. One correction: "However, If they are targeting French speakers exclusively then I see a case for ruling out on a .fr domain, especially if you have a local presence over in France. " French speakers are in many other countries than France. Keep that in mind. But I don't think that pertains to you. I think Hurf is right in that you are trying to reach all Europeans or just the UK. You want them to vacation in France in your client's chalets. If that is the case, you are fine. There is no need to include the local information of the chalets across the site to make it look like you are from France. Are you having issues with terms in particular? Can you share some of those and the domain? We are happy to take a look!

Error Code 612 with Squarespace
I also use squarespace and got the same 612 error code for my homepage today. www.riverrunnersusa.com. When MOZ crawled it for the first time the other day it didn't have a problem so I am wondering if it is something different that is causing the error for my site. Any ideas? Thanks Sarah

How necessary is it to disavow links in 2017? Doesn't Google's algorithm take care of determining what it will count or not?
Why would porn site links have to be bad links? Of course, if a porn link goes to a kitchen website, there is a problem there. The idea behind this, at least for me, is that when you spot links that you analyze and determine that are bad links, whatever the reason, those links should be disavowed. Under your own criteria there will be good links that Google might consider bad links and vice-versa. My advise is to do not leave all that work just to Google. No one better than you to take care (when you know exactly what you are doing) of your site. Keep in mind that all of these are my opinions and what i I'd do in this certain position. Best luck. GR
