Would you launch a paid search campaign with 'Exact Match' only keywords
Hello, Just saw this and wanted to chime in! I agree with Alick300 about exact match keywords, especially for accounts with extremely high search volume. However, I believe adding a few modified broad or phrase match keywords to your account can help you find some well-performing long-tail keywords. Once you find these long-tail keywords, you can choose to bid up higher on them or include them in your Ad Copy. Additionally, if you are a local business, you may find that people are searching for your service along with the city. This can provide you with information for which cities you could potentially be targeting, or where to focus attention. Whatever you choose, monitoring the search term report and appending to your negative keyword list is key!

Very strange, inconsistent and unpredictable Google ranking
Hi All sounds very strange - when you look in GSC and refine down to the page level looking at a few individiual pages such as the ones you know havnt been showing up in results (over the time period this has been going on) are you seeing massive drops in impressions and clicks ? I think worth checking this just to double check that Google is dropping them out of the index for sure rather than it being simply a ranking position drop. Thanks for commenting on my thread too All BEst Dan

Julie, Love, love, love this perspective/way of saying to people they should niche down. The other aspect of niching is that you then automatically tell the prospective client what you will do for the them because you are addressing their problems. Bingo! -- Jewel

Online classified ads site - duplicate content?
My idea was to either put a canonical to the categories for homepage (so the category 1 would have a canonical to homepage) or to move all of the category one ads to homepage (speed would suffer) and remove category 1 at all.

No data for most of my keywords
Hello, Can we request that keywords with "no data" are added by Moz in future so that we can see those figures. I can go to Google Keyword Planner but it's much less convenient to use 2x sources for this. Thanks, G

Lack of UK Keyword Volume Data In Moz
Yes, I am looking in my Tracked Keywords which is where I need this information. When will this likely be fixed? It is making it hard to use the reports at all right now and flicking between other reports (which I may not have full access to) is not really a solution. Keyword difficulty is only helpful in the context of keyword volume. One without the other does not enable a sensible targeting decision to be made.

Is there any way to protect brand (brand protection ) using SEO
If your site is strong, and dominates the search results, people will try to steal your content. But if your site is strong, you will easily beat them when they steal from you. You'll be on page one, they'll be on page twenty. So, the solution is to make your site as strong as possible.

What is the fastest way disassociate an old URL with a new domain name?
First I think it will take time for Google to completely disassociate the old domain from the new domain. With that being said have you tried to disavow all the spammy backlinks on the old domain? You could also meta no index the entire site and get it You could also either meta no index the entire site and get it de index from Google or block it from being crawled within its robots.txt file. That is probably the closest you could come to deleting the domain. I hope that helps some.

Sitemap Indexed vs. Submitted
SF finding 'useless' links is actually part of its purpose, if you believe they're useless you should be asking why they're there. Your XML sitemap should have nothing but clean URLs; 200 response codes and not canonicalized to another URL. The problem isn't that you have category URLs, it's that those (like the one in my previous example) have a canonical tag that points elsewhere. Anytime this is the case, the URL is considered un-indexable. You can see the proof of this by doing a Google search for "https://www.interstellarstore.com/meteorite-jewelry/meteorite-necklaces", I just checked and this URL isn't in the index. You mentioned the age in your original comment that your XML sitemap had been submitted for well over 6 months, that's where I got the age from, maybe I misunderstood? You have no reason to not trust SF, it's one of the most valuable tools in an SEO's toolbox. I've used it for 5+ years to create hundreds of sitemaps and countless other SEO tasks with no problem in providing reliable, accurate data points.
