I would keep the listing at this point. More and more web publishers are sourcing their local data from sites like yellowbook, which means there is growing potential to get syndicated links from these listings and additional citations. I think the combined value of YellowBook type marketing and potential benefits of an additional citation and/or link make it worthwhile.

I would love to have you a look but  but I cannot name the URL because this project is an external one and the client does not  want that. Thank you anyway

Hi Joe, this is for sure an awesome question, so many different point of views, the problem I see with .co is this one: "Sites with country-coded top-level domains (such as .ie) are already associated with a geographic region, in this case Ireland. In this case, you won't be able to specify a geographic location." Source: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=62399 So if I understand this correctly, and you want to target real estate clients in the Chicago area (which I love and will be there for the U2 concert on July 4th) and over US/worldwide, a .co domain is probably not the way to go here. There has been a lot of talk about .co (TLD for Colombia), same as .ws, supposedly "WebSite", actually West Samoa, so I would advice to make the obvious, look at your competitors, does anyone has a .co domain and are ranking in Chicago? are any of the top 100 results anything but .com? try different keywords just to check if there are any .co sites ranking in the real estate market. In terms of MyBlogGuest I also know a lot of people who have had great success, but like all communities there maybe a few who abuse the system. It depends on how great the articles are and the situation the company is in, in terms of exposure online.  Just because you add the articles to your site doesnt meant that you cannot extract ideas from the same, create brand new articles and guest blog. Guest blogging is a great way to attract attention to your other content (especially if it is contained on a blog hosted from your site). MyBlogGuest seems to be a good starting point to me, but if not try going stright for the high value blogs, make sure your blogs are of high value though, and that they suit the place where you are guest posting too..

thats what I do, keep a mix, try to get 80%+ close to the niche.

I don't use meta keywords at all, everything seems fine. I don't want my competitors to see them too.
