Similar category names result in similar urls and duplicate anchor texts
Hi Aran, thanks for the fast response. Here's more detailed information about the sub-categories: 1st Category Performance > Chip Tuning & Power Box > Power Box - Diesel Engines > Alfa Romeo 147 url - /alfa-romeo-147-c1070-en 2nd Category Aerodynamics > Rieger Tuning > Alfa Romeo 147 url - /alfa-romeo-147-c234-en 3rd Category Lighting > Tail Lights > Alfa Romeo 147 url - /alfa-romeo-147-c399-en The url represents the name of the subcategory with it's category id and the language. I was thinking of changing only the url, but the urls will become much much longer, and this will not help with the problem with the anchor texts and the keyword cannibalisation ...

How Many Outbound Links Should I Maintain
I wonder if there is a minimum number of external links you should have. I have many scoring articles that do not contain any outbound link. I think your site in total should have outbound links but not specifically per article. Or else I should not be able to rank at all.

2 Language Versions on Same URL
Please read this, from Google Webmasters Central: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=40349&query=cookies&topic=&type= Make your site easily accessible "Build your site with a logical link structure. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link. Use a text browser, such as Lynx, to examine your site. Most spiders see your site much as Lynx would. If features such as JavaScript, cookies, session IDs, frames, DHTML, or Macromedia Flash keep you from seeing your entire site in a text browser, then spiders may have trouble crawling it. " Based on this, my initial thoughts are that Google will only crawl and index the default language version of the page. I would look to append something to the URL to differentiate the two language versions. I've subscribed to this thread because this is something I'm interested in too, I hope someone else with a little more experience can clarify this for us both, but in the mean time have a read of the above! I hope it helps Aaron

Incoming Links from mamma.com
Jean, Although this does sound tempting to get a quick win, I'd advise not to go ahead with a scheme such as this. Focus more on building strong links such as the one from your SEOmoz profile (after 200 points) - and forums and blog commenting. Getting keyword rich links are obviously the best, but you can compete with that by a number of links from pages with high domain and page authority with less keyword input. 50 Links isn't that many, so don't be put off! It also seems that now the competitor has these links they might be happy to stop link building. Link building is an ongoing process, and sudden peaks and troughs in link numbers might attract the attention of search engines Let me know if this helps!

Will using hidden divs cause me problems?
Google doesn't like "cloaking" type things, showing them different stuff than you show the users will get you penalized. Don't do it.
