My 'complete guide' is cannibalising my main product page and hurting rankings
Hello! Actually, often having more results can sometimes increase the CTR to either result But either way I wouldn't be concerned about CTR in that sense. I would worry again about if users are enjoying your pages once they land on them. You can, however, still work on improving CTR in general to both pages by making your titles and descriptions better - more clicks = more traffic anyway!

How do can the crawler not access my robots.txt file but have 0 crawler issues?
Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here. It looks like your site's robots.txt file is returning some errors to our tools. When I try to visit the robots.txt file from the root domain, which is where our crawler starts, I get a warning that the DNS address can't be found: https://www.screencast.com/t/ezfsiyVso4B9 That same file is returning a 503 error to our crawler: https://www.screencast.com/t/ROlNo8AQz That robots.txt file doesn't redirect anywhere, so you may want to consider putting in a redirect there to your robots.txt file at http://www.dateideas.net/robots.txt. The reason you're seeing 0 issues reported is that we weren't able to reach your robots.txt file, so we stopped crawling and didn't have any issues to report. I would speak to your web developer or whoever manages your site for you about making sure that your robots.txt file is fully accessible to our crawlers and can be reached in a browser. I hope this helps! If you've still got questions, feel free to shoot us a note at help@moz.com and we'll do our best to sort everything out with you!

Need suggestion: What is the best internal linking structure for our website to gain in SEO & UX too?
Hi, Mostly look at Amazon, they've been doing some of this stuff for a while. Just not sure if they're changing the link structure based on colors or certain features. But it happens on a regular basis that they're changing things on the page according to the size or the color of the product that you're picking. Martijn.

Categories showing on SERP listings?
Hi there, What SERP results you get depends on your search queries. If you search for a niche category of your products and you see your results, naturally you will see the URL where these products sit. So it is the exact URL of the result. Potential benefits: You see the search term a few times which might look appealing and increase CTR's You can easily run research on competitors and see how they organise their sitemap or in which category they place a particular product Potentially it can be more eye-catching as it takes more space than a short URL. I hope this helps. Katarina

Changes taken over in the SERP's: How long do I have to wait until i can rely on the (new) position?
Hi Cesare, I made purely content changes to my page and I resubmitted it to Google. I could see the changed rank immediately - in my case from not having any results to result 50. I observed it on a weekly basis and the rank kept improving every time (without any further activity): 50, 37, 24, 18, 16, 13, 11, 6 - and I believe it's not over. Can you rely on the actual position? No! My rank grows in a pretty unique way. Normally it fluctuates and the pattern would be more like 50, 24, 37, 11, 24, 16 - basically up and down. This is what I keep experiencing with majority of our keywords. Especially nowadays, Google is not as static as in the past and you can see this fluctuation very frequently, sometimes daily. I agree, I would recommend at least 8 weeks' observation and between week 8 and 12 you might know where you are and optimise accordingly. I hope this works for you. Good luck! Katarina

I got 1 backlink with 19k backlinks is that bad ? I am afraid
Since this is a footer link it will likely not provide much value. I would not worry about it though as a lot of web design and development companies have tons of footer links from websites they built and they rank just fine.

White H1 Tag Hurting SEO?
There is also brand copy beneath the brand logo introducing the brand on each page. Does anyone have an opinion on wrapping the H1 around the brand name beginning the paragraph? i.e. Brand Name produces such and such products for such and such industry.... and so on

How will canonicalizing an https page affect the SERP-ranked http version of that page?
"I have the option of choosing either www.example.com or example.com, but no option for https://www.example.com or https://example.com." Go in to the https & pick the same format use what ever your site retain the www. if you had it drop it if you did not. "I have Search Console verified for both HTTP and https pages" On the Search Console Home page, click the site you want. Click the gear icon, and then click Site Settings. In the Preferred domain section, select the option you want. Nice! So you have 4 URLs? pick the same format as you had but from # 3 or 4 below. HTTP:// HTTP://www. HTTPS:// if you did NOT have www use this HTTPS://www. if you had www use this ** The to do list. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6332964** https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XB26X_wFoBBlQEqecj7HB79hQ7DTLIPo97SS5irwsK8/edit?usp=sharing **Next, ** Make certain that you force https:// on your hosting environment or WAF/CDN **Check it using a **Redirect mapper https://varvy.com/tools/redirects/ If you get lost and need to fix something https://online.marketing/guide/https/ https://www.deepcrawl.com/blog/news/2017-seo-tips-move-to-https/ Add HSTS once everything is definitely working. Kilobytes downloaded per day droped, why?
Roy, Did you optimize images (make them smaller in size)? Is the traffic real? Spam hits will not utilize data like a real person on your site. Also google could be serving cached pages so the information is not as large as downloading your actual assets from your site. Thanks, Don

Http to https:Risky?
You are going to definitely need HTTPS on your site browsers are already making websites that do not have https look insecure I would change over ASAP. If you perform it correctly with the proper 301 redirects and update Google search console you will not suffer for more than a week max I have never seen ranking a drop personally out of over 20 sites but I have heard of some it is extremely unlikely that it will occur now. A how to checklist** is at the top if you. follow that you will be okay.** http://www.aleydasolis.com/en/search-engine-optimization/http-https-migration-checklist-google-docs/ http://www.aleydasolis.com/htaccess-redirects-generator/https-vs-http/ https://www.semrush.com/blog/https-just-a-google-ranking-signal/ Everyone here is ready to help if you have any questions. I hope this is of help all the best, Tom
