  • Charlesfitz, You've done an impressive load of research. Here are a few other items to consider: 464 pages had a connection refused (0) status code. Here are some examples: /collections/nude-mesh-dress/products/so-sexy-see-through-bandage-dress 0 Connection Refused /collections/bandage-dresses/products/navy-blue-cap-sleeve-bandage-dress 0 Connection Refused /collections/mermaid-midi-dress/products/mermaid-bodycon-bandage-strapless-sheath-dress 0 Connection Refused /collections/sexy-birthday-dress/products/celebrity-bandage-pink-v-neck-dress 0 Connection Refused /collections/whats-new/products/rio-rose-gold-two-piece-bandage-dress 0 Connection Refused /collections/whats-new/products/bandage-black-strapless-pencil-dress 0 Connection Refused /products/spaghetti-strap-lace-dress 0 Connection Refused /products/hot-celebrity-black-and-grey-bandage-dress 0 Connection Refused /collections/whats-new/products/two-piece-lace-bandage-dress 0 Connection Refused /sexy-black-dresses/products/black-bandage-spaghetti-strap-midi-dress 0 Connection Refused /collections/one-shoulder-dress/products/one-shoulder-gold-bandage-dress 0 Connection Refused /collections/white-bandage-dresses/products/white-elegant-strap-bandage-dress 0 Connection Refused You have roughly 45% of your HTML pages returning a 430 status code. I have no idea what that is but it might be impeding your indexing. You have 80 temporary redirects in place for HTTP to HTTPS files. That's not likely the explanation, but should be fixed. You have a lot of duplicate title and H1 tags. That might result in the wrong pages getting ranked, and by wrong I mean the pages that aren't ideally optimized for your keyword phrase or targeted for SEO equity accumulation. There are 13 404 (page not found) status codes. You also have some perhaps unintentionally noindexed pages, for example, /blogs/news/top-10-new-york-fashion-bloggers, /collections/gold-bandage-dresses and /collections/white-swimwear. (It might also be intentional as I notice you can't manually navigate to white swimwear on the site.) I found these by scanning the site using Screamingfrog.

  • I would definitely make sure you have canonical URLs set up so both www and naked URLs are not considered duplicate content.

  • Providing your Analytics script or TAG manager is still using the same code then the tracking should remain in place and always be available. A drop would indicate as per Gaston's response that the code was inaccurately implemented or missing. Did they change the analytics whilst in development, was it missing when going live? A good way to check your analytics tag is implemented correctly would be to run the following plugin for chrome https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tag-assistant-by-google/kejbdjndbnbjgmefkgdddjlbokphdefk

  • Absolutely I would strongly suggest to have a page for every single service otherwise on-page optimisation becomes suboptimal. Assuming that your service pages are NOT going to be shallow, i.e. enough unique content. What you cold do is to use the index page for more **general, broader keywords **that you don't tackle in your service pages. You can or even should link from the index page to the services (not only in the menu) too.

  • Hi Mike, Here's a Whiteboard Friday that talks about absolute vs relative URLs. It should answer your questions. I'll provide a quick example. A relative URL is any URL that DOES NOT explicitly specify the protocol (e.g., "http:// " or "https:// ") and/or domain ( promierproducts.com ) and subdomain (www), which forces the visitor's web browser (or the search engine bots) to assume it refers to the same domain or site on which the URL appears. An example would be the way your logo file is referenced on your home page - /assets/images/Promier-Logo-250-Egnyte.jpg. An absolute URL is the opposite, a URL that DOES explicitly specify the protocol, domain, and subdomain. Using the same logo file as an example, your absolute logo file would appear as www.promierproducts.com/assets/images/Promier-Logo-250-Egnyte.jpg in the code. The Whiteboard Friday explains why, from an SEO perspective, it is good to use absolute vs relative URLs.

  • Hey there! You can actually ignore an entire issue type from the top of the page. Just navigate to the issue type and click the "Ignore issue type" button in the top right corner of the page. This will ignore all pages with this issue type going forward. Here is a screenshot to help: https://www.screencast.com/t/PQUSt59or9lQ

  • Hi Roy, I thought about just explaining what the term means. But you seem to suggest I should dedicate more space to each term, am I right? My idea was: to list all terms that visitors might need to have explained and link them with the pages where they are used. I believe each term would be explained via a sentence or two. Is this not enough? Is there any better SEO solution? I know for sure there won't be any videos or guides for now, it will be just a simple page. The page would sit in our Help Centre and we would have a Glossary link in the footer. Many thanks. Katarina

  • Hi everyone Thank you for your feedback this is really helpful! Is it worth having any placeholder information on the new domain to build up authority whilst we're in the process of the migration? Obviously we don't want it to be duplicate info however so it doesn't have a negative impact. Thank you

  • Taysir, I imagine that you received this message (added message so if someone is searching able to find this thread): Starting October 2017, Chrome (version 62) will show a “NOT SECURE” warning when users enter text in a form on an HTTP page, and for all HTTP pages in Incognito mode. The following URLs on your site include text input fields (such as < input type="text" > or < input type="email" >) that will trigger the new Chrome warning. Review these examples to see where these warnings will appear, so that you can take action to help protect users’ data. This list is not exhaustive. Gaston links and suggestion are great. This is a pain, but it's for the best. Good luck on the migration.
