What time of day are keyword rankings updated
I think this it's based on a daily queue, but that's probably something a moderator might be able to answer.

We have Lost Ranking After Panda update on all 6 websites
The Panda Bear is such a complicated beast, it's hard to narrow down what the problem could be without thoroughly looking at your sites. We had a similar problem on a previous update and had to try many different things to sort the problem, ultimately I think it was a combination of things on our sites that happened to trigger one of Panda's algorithms into dropping our ranking. It's probably worth bearing in mind that sites do sometimes disappear from G when updates take place. It's happened to us before and within a couple of weeks the site came back to where it was. I'd suggest trying to improve your sites in this time though, so that when your site is next crawled, G can see that you're starting to make improvements. One of the main things that seems to affect panda is duplicate content on your sites, so if you've got various pages with the same or similar content then I would suggest using the canonical tag to sort them out. Looking at your sites quickly, I've noticed that; Some sites (e.g. Wannapack) have a high number of inbound links from relatively small amount of domains. This could sometimes suggest a link scheme. The link profile on some of your sites contains a lot of 'spammy' directories and article sites. It may be worth trying to get some higher quality links from genuine sites, perhaps packaging review sites or how to sites. It may be worth getting rid of some old content and putting some new high quality content on your sites. Panda can often downgrade a site just for having one or two 'poor quality' pages. Try and limit the amount of duplicate content you are using across your sites. After all G can see they're sitting on the same server and may look at this in a negative way. Try looking at the page below for tips on link building with Panda; http://www.blueglass.com/blog/link-building-in-a-pandas-world/ I'm sure there's people on here who could direct you better than me on this topic, but as a starter I hope this helps!

Code problem and the impact on links
In that case I wouldn't worry about it. Most webmasters won't really check the outgoing links, and if they do, they certainly wouldn't do it every day. Google is probably pretty lenient on this too, as they understand that occasional service outages occur. As long as your site was back up and running in a reasonable amount of time, you should be fine.

What would be the ideal method to handling auto-generated product content across network of dealership websites?
An idea could be to create unique content around the duplicate product listings, like user reviews, additional images, a video of one of the cars on the lot, customer testimonials or case studies about owning the car, a video of a drag race between the car and a competitor's car, etc.

Cost affective way to automate linkbuilding?
This is on Topic..a recent email from Robert Bruce of Copy Blogger: By now, you know that content marketing is the new advertising. Your readers - and those beloved search engines - highly reward those sites that consistently deliver authoritative content that is focused on a topic, industry, niche, or idea. What does this really mean? You've got to write. A lot. Sure, there's other ways to deliver the goods - audio, video, infographic design, etc. But ultimately, the writer runs this show. And, writing - whether in outline, script, or long form - is what underpins all other categories of media. Writing is the cornerstone skill of all great content creation. So, when it comes to building your business on the Internet, you're going to be spending a good amount of your time at the keyboard. Here's a stripped-down system for getting your writing done, fast: 1. Know what you're talking about Obvious, right? If you're going to write authoritatively about anything, you've got to put in your time. You've got to read relentlessly on your subject. Study, research, painstakingly try to understand the movements and theories and motivations behind your product, service, and industry. Stay current on, or ahead of, the news. Get to know the players involved. This step (which, by the way, is an ongoing process) eliminates the dreaded moments of staring out the window for ideas. Research is writing. 2. Outline every time If you don't know where you're going, how will you ever get there? Don't ever start blindly typing your essay, article, or blog post without a map. First, think through what it is you actually want to communicate. Then, write down the skeleton of the thing. Major points, subheads, title. A simple outline takes the guesswork - and in many ways, the actual work - out of the picture. Give yourself a paved road to walk down, and then walk down that road, simply putting one foot in front of the other. 3. The secret lies in 30 minutes I stole this technique from Eugene Schwartz, and it is the single most powerful practice for getting words on a page I've ever used. Get a kitchen timer. Or, use the one on your smartphone. Sit down at your desk with your notes, research, outline, and coffee. Set that timer for 30 minutes and punch the "start" button. DO NOT get up from your desk until 30 minutes passes and the buzzer goes off. Here's the trick: don't try to write. Don't stress about it. After a few minutes of sitting there, staring at the page, your cat, out the window, whatever, you'll get so bored that you'll begin to write. When the 30 minutes is up, go do something else for a while. Then, come back for another 30 minutes of not trying. If you get six or seven of these sessions in during a day, you'll be so far ahead of the game, you'll wonder why you ever struggled to write in the first place. 3. Write a lot It is an immutable law of the universe. The more you do it, the more you'll do it. It may not get easier, but eventually you will become a writer. And that, my friends, can change your life and your business. rb Robert Bruce Copyblogger Media

Wordpress permlinks SEO question
Hi Sam, Most browsers add the trailing / anyway, so no need for that, adding .html is not necessary either, usually just for static html websites. So, there is no real benefit of adding unnecessary extentions to your permalinks. regards Mark

Confusion and conflicts on ADWORDS modified broad match
Yes, +KW1 +KW2 will trigger the longer keyword match, but it may be beneficial to include the 3 word version if you're seeing a decent volume and getting lots of clicks. Likely the longer one will have an improved Quality Score and save you some $$

How much content is too much? Best Pages For Content?
Just an example.... tell people how to use your products for maximum enjoyment... For example if you sell mountain bikes articles about.... how to select mountain bike tires.... how to change a mountain bike tire in under 60 seconds... recommended tools for off-road biking... how to true a bike wheel (rear)... how to true a bike wheel (front).... how to clean the mountain bike chain.... geeezz... I could go on forever... So... give everything that you need to make your customers experts at buying... owning... riding... maintaining... racing their mountain bikes... and make your staff look like expert mountain bikers and all-round good guys. PS... I am not talking about light weight trivial pedestrian articles... these would be substantive, complete and detailed articles with lots of big juicy photos. And you need a video of me changing the mountain bike tire in 42 seconds.

How can I replicate India SERPs from US
Yeah I was going to the account, and trying to set the search location to India locations, but since it was .com it wasn't going to work. I was trying to find a way to make it ignore my IP as well. Either way I still didn't see the site on the indian version of Google, when not logged in (e.g. no history to change my results). If I am reading the google custom search notes correctly your URL would have google show me Indian sites, but our site is a .com in the US being clicked on by people in India, so I am not positive it would work for what I am looking at. I appreciate the help though

Best way to defeat negative press?
Thanks Ryan, this is really helpful. We have our Social properties in place, we just need to come up with a comprehensive plan to keep it updated. Any recommendations on readings on how to get a plan together for social media? That is probably another Q/A...right now our struggle is getting daily posts, and finding the right people to follow. I am doubting that we will be able to afford a consultant. I took a pretty hefty paycut to take this position...it's a non-profit that I feel passionate about, which is the only reason they could afford me. Not that I'm SEO expert, by any means...I'll actually be doing a lot of different things for the org on the administrative side. Out of curiosity, any idea on a price range I can expect to see for an SEO consult?

Blogspot or Wordpress.com Redirect?
The short answer is no. Your site can benefit from other unique sites (such as your blogs) which link to it. In order for those links to have value, the PR of the linking page needs to have value which means other sites need to link to your blog site. In order for that to happen you would need to create quality content and place it on your blog sites. Your main site would benefit more by placing your blog articles directly on the main site then by receiving links from your other microsites.
