How to remove bad link to your site?
The best way to go is to continue building quality links. These links you've 'kindly' acquired from a competitor have clearly made your link profile look worse than it should be. The fact you've got nearly 450k links coming from less than 100 domains will look a tad suspicious to G. If you continue to build quality links, google will see that you're not getting your links from spammy sources and the other links you've been given could easily turn from having a negative effect to having a positive effect. As it's a new site, this is the time when your link profile is watched carefully, so although it's unfortunate to have got these links, it's not the end of the world by any means. Try and get some links from sites with a high MozRank using white hat tactics.

Is Google taking longer to rank new sites?
That's quite a tough question to answer as it depends on a huge variety of factors. Some of the new websites sit on aged domains and are more powerful than brand new domains subsequently they rank quicker. Some of the new websites are blogs and are updated with fresh content rather than static 'brochure' websites (which struggle to rank for anything).

Our Development team is planning to make our website nearly 100% AJAX and JavaScript. My concern is crawlability or lack thereof. Their contention is that Google can read the pages using the new #! URL string. What do you recommend?
It can be done. Make sure your development team reads through http://www.seomoz.org/blog/how-to-allow-google-to-crawl-ajax-content and http://code.google.com/web/ajaxcrawling/ before coming to any conclusions. If you have an AJAX based website, you'll have a little extra work to do depending on the route you take.

Is submitting a single piece of video content to a lot of different video sites spam?
In my opinion, duplicate content is one of those things people get unnecessarily hung up about. I think it is about control. Duplication means loss of control - Google will choose which version to display in the results. For video, keep the full or extended versions on your domain. Syndicate the teasers or ads everywhere. That way you keep control and meet the aim of driving traffic to your site

Campaign Not Crawling
OOHH-LA-LA That pesky Amazon cloud. Maybe a big Bingo. I will remove the blocked IPs from Amazon hosting. I had someone from those IPs slamming Google Ads so I blocked a big range all related to Amazon. If the problem exists I'll reconstitute the block but for now let's see if removing them helps. OK - I removed the motherload of IPs and I will come back and respond to the result after about 48 hours or sooner if I see positive results. UPDATE: After removing the blocked IPs the site was crawled the max 10K pages. UPDATE 2: The Adsense slammer returned under several different Amazon Cloud IPs so I had to block the full range again as I don't want to get banned by Google. No money registered only numerous ad clicks. This is unacceptable so I won't crawl this site. Thanks, Don

Links from Directories
The example directories you have given look pretty spammy to me. They all have the same design and look to have been made to make money rather than service a need. In the print world they would be the crap newspapers put through people's doors, left in supermarkets / shopping centres. My advice would be to try to avoid these. Look for directories that provide a benefit to users and look to have unique content i.e. specific to niche or region.

Corporate Client Won't Approve Landing Pages (of any sort)
We're looking at them from a conversion optimization perspective, while also ensuring that they're SEO-ed for the appropriate products and services. We're pretty good at onsite optimization and quality content creation, we just feel in a slight pickle sometimes with larger corporate clients when it comes to building new pages (landing pages or otherwise). Thanks for the responses.

Geotargeting by IP and SEO
If you want to rank for this content you need to display it statically. AFAIK there is no way to instruct googlebot to try different variables to bring up different dynamic content.

Does duplicate content on word press work against the site rank? (not page rank)
Does your blog actually contain duplicate content from your website or are you saying that the Moz Crawl is identifying some of your blog pages as being duplicates of other pages inside the blog? It happens to one of our sites due to how the tagging works, but I've never really thought anything of it. Is this the seo tool you're talking about? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/canonical/ Also have you read this article http://www.seoresearcher.com/how-to-make-your-wordpress-blog-duplicate-content-safe.htm

My client's resort, ME Cancun would like to rank for the keyword “Complete ME” and related modifiers. So any advice or ideas you have to improve our performance on this keyword is appreciated.
The phrase your client selected will be very challenging and require solid dedication and SEO work. Your client wishes to rank for "Complete ME". My definition of ranking is appearing on the first page of Google results. Using that definition, you are trying to compete on generic words rather then a unique brand. This type of ranking is the most challenging. It is made much more difficult based on the following: "Complete Me" is part of a very famous movie line "You Complete Me" said by Tom Cruise. "Complete Me" is also part of a song "You Complete Me" by Keyshia Cole. There is a wiki page titled "Complete Me" which will take one of the first page result slots There are books, clothing line and an opera which use that phrase. With the above understood, here are some steps to improve your rankings: 1. Make a page optimized for that single phrase. The page's title should be "Complete ME" 2. Use anchor text where appropriate throughout your site directing visitors to the "Complete ME" page 3. Earn links from other sites using "Complete ME" and several variations of anchor text 4. Use solid SEO on the page. Ensure your title is a H1 tag which includes "Complete ME", and your content uses the term at least a couple times.

High % of auto-generated order pages with exit of 100% and time on page less than 5 seconds. Problem for sentiment analysis?
Hey JB! Sorry, maybe I'm missing something, but if the pages are non-spidered and not included in search results, are you suggesting that Google is going to know about these pages and exit rates by using your Google Analytics data against you? Although Google is hush-hush about what they use Analytics data for, I don't think their intention is to use it for search results. Here they say: Shared data will be used to improve the services we provide you and will help create more powerful features for you to choose from. As they become available, only those who share their data with Google will gain access to these services and features (e.g. benchmarking and an enhanced version of AdWords Conversion Optimizer). The DoubleClick Ad Planner Publisher Center will also offer greater insight to the customers who have opted in to share their data in Analytics and Ad Planner.
