What is the difference between followed/no followed/ internal/ external links? And how do i improve them?
Followed links : Google finds the link and passes on a "vote" to the website linked to. No-Followed links: Google finds the link but does NOT pass on a "vote" to the website linked to. Internal Links: Links pointing to pages within your website External Links: Links pointing to other websites from within your website. I would advise you spend some time going through the beginners guide on SEOMOZ! GREG

HTTP Errors in Webmaster Tools
Hey Sha, Sorry for the slow reply. Yes, I checked the URLs that were listed and I didn't actually receive a 403 error. I guess I figured there would be some room for lag time but these errors are over a month old so I thought that was strange.

Lots of optimized content but crappy rankings
Wow! What a nice gesture. I would love to discuss a couple of things with you, mainly around our content. Should I just message you through here or do you have an email I should use? Thank you! It's great to meet someone in the same sphere...

Anyone having issues with OSE?
Hi Anthony, That's a case for the help desk. Please email them at help@seomoz.org and let them know the URL you're getting that on and what browser you're using. I haven't seen a rash of complaints coming in here or on Twitter the last few hours, so I think it may be an isolated issue. Thanks, and so sorry you're having problems.

Already a lot of good info out there if you search, either use the forum search or go here - http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=seomoz+plural&pws=0&hl=en&num=10 - (the .co.uk results are better than the .com results).

Most of my keywords DROPS! Not in Top 50 anymore... What is going on?
Hi Jean, there are several tools to check rankings, or you can manually check them. Be aware that you might get different search result when manually checking them due to personalization and your location. However, if a manual check gives you nearly the same result as the SEOmoz tool does for one or two weeks ago, you can be confident that it is a bug and not a drop in your rankings. You can find lots of different tools discussed here: http://www.seomoz.org/q/what-rank-checking-solution-do-people-use

How do you get Mozbot to crawl your website
Bribes or maybe just dinner and a few drinks Alas, you can't force Roger to crawl your site "**Q. I just fixed a ton of issues. Can I get a new crawl?**SEOmoz crawls your site once per week. The start date is based on the date you first set up your campaign. Unfortunately, there is no way to change this date or force an earlier crawl. However, you can use the SEOmoz Custom Crawl tool to crawl up to 3000 pages of your website. We’ll email you the resulting CSV file within 24 hours."

Google isn't displaying the www. for my site in the SERPS
Hi Aaron, Your 301 redirect is working fine and sending all non www traffic to your www subdomain, so there is no harm to your SEO. The potential for that was explained by Ed in his reponse. Google has simply indexed your non www root domain before you put the 301 redirect in place and has not picked up the redirect and adjusted the index as yet. If you have not already done as Nico suggested and advised Google in your Webmaster Tools account which is your preferred domain, then you can do this. It is likely to enable Google to pick up the 301 more quickly, although I have heard Googlers refer to it as a "hint" which means that you should not hold your breath, or be overly concerned if you do not see a change in the results page straight away. Bing also has the same function in Webmaster Central. Sha

Google Cache Date
Google has a public cache (i.e. what you see in the search results) and it's own private cache which is used to evaluate site rankings. Although when the public cache is refreshed it more than likely updates several ranking factors, there's also crawling done behind the scenes. Backlinks can and most likely will be picked up before the public cache is refreshed. I've noticed google is getting quite fast on updating rankings and new back links can have an impact sometimes within a day or so now.

Schedule crawls for 2 subdomains every 24 hours
Generally, I correct the error and then wait until the next crawl if I'm confident that I've fixed the problem. If I'm unsure then I may run a manual crawl using the crawling tool, however for me the format just isn't as easy to read as the weekly crawl diagnostics.

Promoting Great Content
Thanks for the response dvtruong, regarding the content, we haven't got anything to put out at the moment because we want to make sure it's worthwhile before kicking it off. It'll be something loan/finance related, so the creative caps will need to come out. How did you go about finding the top bloggers in your industry? I'm sure I could round up a few, but I'd love to find more
