Keyword before location: Do you notice a big difference in performance?
Thanks for your reply. When you say that "the order of K+L or L+K on your page doesn't seem to limit that page's ability to rank for K+L (or K in L)," is this based on anecdotal evidence or your research? I'd be interested in both but the latter would be great. Sorry, I can't share the exact target, but "chinese food Austin" is a good example.

Track rank by multiple zip codes, radius, or state?
Got it. I think I'll have to spread my wings and fly--I'll try it out and see what kind of reporting I get. Thanks for all your help.

Http Redirects to Https - then to Redirect 301
Its actually Magento, so htaccess should be where the http --> https redirect resides, but there's nothing there.

GMB 1 listing for store , multiple additional listings for outside sales reps
Really helpful answers, thanks! Okay, so what this business is eligible for is a single listing, representing their single physical location, and this should be located in a single account, although you can give multiple managers access to that account, if necessary. Right now, having multiple listings for a single location is a violation of these guidelines and could get the company into trouble for spamming: https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177?hl=en-GB To create further ineligible listings for service cities where they lack a physical location would also violate Google's guidelines and further heighten the risk of penalties. To resolve this, the business either needs to ask Google to help them merge the superfluous listings into the main, eligible listing, or if the details of the listings don't match because a fake address has been used, take steps to report that the business never existed there (see article, below to determine the right course of action). That main listing must accurately list the name of the business as its title (with no city names or other keyword modifiers) and should accurately represent the physical address and phone number of the physical business. Recommended reading: https://moz.com/blog/delete-gmb-listing I'm so glad you asked about this, and hopefully you can get this company back on a good track with how they're marketing their business. Please, let me know if you have any further questions.

Link Building Issue
Hi there, Thanks for the question. I wouldn't worry as much about DA/PA as I would the relevance and "human" quality of a link. DA can be a great indicator of the authority of a domain, but remember that it's just one metric. If you are working through large lists of links, then filtering from highest DA to lowest can help you prioritise, but I wouldn't necessarily rule out links below a certain number. Hope that helps! Best Tool for Finding Backlinks Pointing to 404 Pages on Your Website?
Screaming Frog (the free, unlicensed version, even) does a really nice job of finding both internal and external links resulting in 404, run a crawl of your site and check the response codes tab, sort by code column to find all 404s, if any. You can see the domain in this view so it's easy to sort out which are coming from inside your house, and which aren't.

Drop in DA across multiple sites
I'm sorry about this! Generally, we recommend using a wide variety of backlink tools to get the most illustrative picture of how your site's backlink profile looks. OSE and Ahrefs index differently and have different purposes. Ahrefs is good for quantity while OSE is great for finding higher quality links. You could always try Ahrefs to compare and potentially give your client the peace of mind that the links are still there. Domain Authority is our own proprietary metric that is closely correlated to Google rankings, so our customers often use OSE to research influential sites to build links. (E.g. which links to try and target)

How to Find a Competitor's Target Keyword for a Particular Webpage
I'd go to the SEMrush dashboard and copy/paste the URL in the search box. Then press the orange search button. You will get a report that shows the keywords that the page ranks for and the rankings that they currently hold. The keywords that they are targeting can, and usually are, very different from the keywords that they are ranking for -- and the keywords that they are targeting is less valuable information than the keywords that they are ranking for. And, on that I hold that the intentions of other people who own a website can not be divined, nor is their smarts anything that I would be willing to bet my money on.

My duplicate pages are mostly Tag pages...what are best practices?
What we do is add explanatory content to the tag pages that are for key concepts for our website and link to them from a "glossary" page—people who are new to some of these terms can go there for definitions. We also link to the relevant glossary page in posts where the term comes up, helping to create good internal linking. Other tag pages can be noindexed or just ignored—the Moz report is just for your reference.
