Google WMT Turning 1 Link into 4,000+ Links
David Without more data it is hard to answer this. I will ask a question and it is simply to check for the info - is the link in any way a footer link? sidebar? etc.? If there were a way to look at the link we might could help, but I can understand if not. Best.

Local search challenge with overlapping domains and confusing site ownership
Do a search for Farhoumand Dental. At the bottom of the map inset on the right, click the link for claiming business ownership. They will verify via address/phone number, which is still the same for Farhoumand rather than Avanti. After you have properly claimed the business address, you should be able to change the website address to the new website. Google is going to get their information directly from you, via Google Places. Not sure if you can ask that the old Google+ page be taken down or not.

How do I print an invoice?
A billing invoice? If you click the symbol in the upper right that looks like a Head with some lines next to it you will see a dropdown. Click on "Billing & Subscription". On that page you'll see a tab for Billing Information. Scroll down and there will be an Invoice History list with view links next to each invoice. You can then print those pages.

Massive site-wide internal footer links to doorway pages: how bad is this?
So every page has several hundred links to spammy duplicate pages? This is a bad thing. First off, link equity leaving every page on your site would be split between all these several hundred links whether your NoFollow them or not. Second, the fact that they are essentially duplicate of each other and there are potentially hundreds of these pages means that your site is likely hurting from thin content penalties. Third, that image makes it look like old school 90s keyword stuffing. Which is just all sorts of wrong. My assessment is that Yes... this is hurting your site.

20 000 duplicates in Moz crawl due to Joomla URL parameters. How to fix?
These are caused by the links to your language pages. If you click one of the language links from within the source code (not on the page) it redirects to a URL with '?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html' added. Then if you click the same language link on that page it again redirects to another page with previous URL added to the end: ?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html. e.g: On the example page view source, search for German and click the link below: http://de.binary-options.biz/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html This link 301 redirects too: http://www.binary-options.biz/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html Then if you view source, search for German and click the link again: http://de.binary-options.biz/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html This link 301 redirects too: http://www.binary-options.biz/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html?q=/index.php/Web-Pages/binary-options-platforms.html So basically every time a web crawler follows a language link, new URLs are being created with the previous URL added to the end, causing a never ending crawl as an infinite amount of new pages will always be created. I don't think this is connected with the Joomla SEF as Chris pointed out, as your URLs are already SEF. However it's not an easy thing to identify how to fix the issue with the language links. You should probably speak to the developer who implemented it and/or the creator of the plugin if it is a plugin. Also do you even need this functionality? As none of the language links work, they just redirect back the main site.

SEO having different effects for different sites
Many thanks for your answer! I've been reading a number of articles recently about the updates to Google's algorithm. Some people say that link building is a dying art, as Google is focussing on more naturally shared content, where as others say that it's worth spending time on. Is it just that no one really knows?
