Category Advice
Okay, again, think with the mindset there is no stupid question when reading this next one When you say "reviews and videos" would live in their own categories....do you mean, subordinate to apps or, equal to apps with the name "app-reviews" "app-videos" If you have not figured out by now, categories are really confusing to me! thank you Mike

Hreflang or not, or something else?
Are you using the hreflang correctly? it contains both the language and location. If, for example, you french version is being served with the hreflang="fr" that means that users with a French browser should see that page, but not that users in France should see that page. If you are running an German browser, searching in France, you will probably get the German version first, as the hreflang="de" it's doing it's job. If you'd like to have the french version even for German browsers, you will probably need to add an hreflang="de-FR" and point to the french version. Even adding all the hreflang tags you may need, Google will ultimately serve what they think is better to the user. There's no way to "force" them, hreflang is just a "guidance"

SEO Consulting Agency for Strategy and Link Removal
Hi, there are lots of experts you could call on to help you. I don't represent Moz, but speaking independently my best advice for a pool of companies you could contact would be to look at the Moz recommended list of companies and speak to some of them. You can see the list here: http://moz.com/community/recommended I hope that helps, Peter

How to Let Google Know I am a new Site Owner and to Remove or De-value all backlinks?
A three letter, brandable EMD-- Sounds like the kind of thing someone would want to keep and use or sell for a bunch of money. But then when you add the "6K junk links" it sound like the kind of thing someone would just want to sell and hope to get a bunch of money. Playing games with the registrar isn't going to help help you in the matter. Did you try offering them half price? It still may not be worth it.

Cann't connect the g+,display "remote-authentication.failur" message
Hi, sorry to hear you are having a problem with this. It's an issue that others in the Moz Q&A forum have reported in the last day or so. From the report on http://health.moz.com/ it suggests that it's an issue that Moz's engineers are aware of and are looking to resolve: Cannot add Google+ accounts Our engineers are working to resolve an issue preventing Google+ accounts from being added in campaign settings. An update is expected later today so please check back for any new status! Common errors are returning: remote-authentication.failure. I hope that helps. Just keep an eye on http://health.moz.com/ for an update. Peter

Website title has domain name in SERPS but not in the website.
For months, Google has sometimes added SEOmoz to the end of our title tags after we moved to Moz. Sometimes Google will do their own title tags, and have for years.

Other domains hosted on same server showing up in SERP for 1st site's keywords
For those that are interested, we figured out the root of the problem and the fix. Maybe this will help someone down the road. Thanks to all that responded. As it seems all the domains/accounts hosted on our VPS are top level; so we couldn’t use robots.txt to fix this. The problem: -We have a handful of websites using a shared IP address – Only sites with SSL cert get a dedicated IP -Some of these websites have additional A record DNS names (mail.domain1, ns5.domain2, etc) that all resolve to that shared IP address -Within your browser if you went to one of those records it would pull up the website (account) that is first alphabetically within that shared IP pool -It’s assumed that a website or multiple websites somewhere in the web must have linked these domain names somewhere on their webpages – so search engines crawled them for the content of that first alphabetical website -Search engines then indexed the content of that site for these other DNS A records and displayed the alternate URLs in the SERPS The fix: Edit Apache’s httpd.conf file on our VPS – adding a new (first listed) virtual directory of that shared IP address to point to the servers cpanel default cgi page instead of listing one of our hosted accounts first. This page describes what we needed done and what fixed it for us: http://forums.spry.com/cpanel-whm/1568-how-can-i-change-default-page-ip-address-points.html Thanks again!

Google+ currently DOES support hidden addresses?
Hi Avalanche, If it happened automatically, then it does sound like part of the automatic upgrade. I do, however, recommend that you investigate and resolve the business title inconsistency. Google's guidelines specifically forbid anything but the legal business name or DBA in that field. If an internal edit doesn't work, I'd go through the troubleshooter: https://support.google.com/places/ Hit the red 'contact us' button to begin documenting the problem, which is quite a serious one, both because of Google's guidelines and the fact that citation consistency is considered to be one of the top local ranking factors. Hope this helps!

Index Page Dropped From Rankings
What do you mean by "inbound links on your homepage"? The links in your homepage link yo pages in your site. Inbound links are those who come from external sources. I don't know what keywords are you using, but just the name michael harwinlaw returns an EXCELLENT result page (see screenshot). Now, if we are talking about specific keywords, then it will need an inbound link assessment, review for any possible penalty, etc. But to your main question: your index page being indexed, it is, and perfectly linked to G+ places, etc. fL7j2wK.png

Issues with on-page report
Interesting, I didn't know that. Any idea of what's the penalty for having it in hierarchy vs together (i.e. this/is/my/keyword vs /this-is-my-keyword )? Also I would have thought the "en" word was just ignored by search engines. that's not so?

How do I connect my Google + business page to Moz
Moz analytics. Just being curious... What do you make of Moz analytics? Personally I preferred the old 'pro' version and always go back to that - it seems more user-friendly to me. Thanks for your help. Amelia
