Businesses That Have 2 Trading Addresses
I would think that using the subOrganization schema markup to denote the "secondary" location and imply which location is the "primary" business location and should be served/favored as the default may help take it a step further.

Permanently using 301 for internal link
Hi Tom, Thank you for taking the time to reply. And we do want to go the way of changing the URL in the listing page but had a little confusion over the need/type of overview page. Currently, the url consists of /used-peugeot/used-toyota-corolla but with the new URL (/used-toyota/corolla ), we was wondering if I needed a kind of an overview page for each manufacturer (like /used-toyota, /used-honda)? In the existing URL, there is one generic overview page (used-peugeot) which is not ideal but as most of the listing vehicles are peugeot, it had been the case up until now. So will keeping the /used-peugeot overview page while implementing new URL (/used-toyota/corolla) be a good idea or will we have to have an overview page for each manufacturer (e.g. /used-honda, /used-kia) and so on? Once more thank you very much for taking the time to reply.

Geoip redirection, 301 or 302?
For geo-redirects, I do not recommend you use 301 redirects. Browsers can cache these, so if you tell a browser in Canada that example.com should redirect to www.example.com/ca-fr, and later the user changes their language to English, and then tries to go www.example.com, the browser could use that redirect again to go back to the French version without hitting your server. 301 tells the browser that www.example.com ALWAYS (permanently) goes to www.example.com/ca-fr. Page rank isn't really a consideration with these, since Googlebot always comes from the US, so it should never hit these redirects. If example.com always goes to one of the versions via a redirect (i.e. you don't serve content under that root URL), then you do have a bit of problem with redirects. You don't want to 302 Googlebot to another page for your home page, but at the same time, you want to avoid weird redirect behaviors for your customers. Google can visit the international versions directly without redirects, right? They should have no problem indexing those pages then. I agree with István, get some local links to your different local versions, register them each with Google Webmaster Tools (and Bing), put up sitemaps for each, and implement the hreflang tags in your sitemaps (or pages). That way Google can easily index each version, and knows exactly what each version is for.

What to do with old web pages after a re skin?
Also to add.... the old urls have stacks of repeated title tags Now if i redirect i'm guessing I'll still have to correct the repeated title tags or will webmaster tools still nag me about repeated title tags. I have a feeling if i redirect the old urls I'll also have to undo the repeated title tags. Would be great if someone could confirm this would be the case so i can order some strong coffee for the grim task ahead!

301 Redirect - Technical Question
Hi, it's possible that the 301 redirect that you think is handling this URL is not that redirect. It may be worth checking your .htaccess file to see if this URL path /industry-sectors/equine is being managed by another redirect. Check your .htaccess file for anything that might be overriding your URL path and taking it to the wrong URL. Peter

My site's domain authority is 1\. why is that
It appears that your site hasn't been crawled by Moz yet and that it may be new. It will take time and considerable effort to build your domain's authority. Be sure to read through The SEO Guide From Moz for info on how to increase authority.

Using keywords instead of brand name on G+ to rank for local terms.
Hi Silkstream, Yep - it's almost always a relief to know what you're experiencing is part of a mass bug rather than an individual problem. Google tends to respond to system-wide problems with more speed and care than they do to edge cases. So glad I was able to answer your question and give you some peace of mind!
