Handmadearea.com - anyone know what this is? Bizarre backlinks!
Yes, it's a strange one. I don't understand what advantage they get from scraping my logo and headings. I have disavowed their entire domain as there appears no reasonable way to contact them. I doubt they'd reply if I did. I did a full backlinks report this morning and found four more similar sites (similar URL structures) linking back to me, although none of them appear to be working. If they end up getting better SERPs than me, I'll be wanting to know why!

Need keywords
Howdy Jellybean22, Moz has a few keyword research tools: Rank Tracker - http://moz.com/researchtools/rank-tracker Keyword Difficulty - http://moz.com/researchtools/keyword-difficulty On page Grader - http://moz.com/researchtools/on-page-grader Versions of these tools are also all found in your campaigns. For keyword suggestions, we don't have a keyword suggestion tool, but you can often find good keywords to optimize for in the in "opportunities" tab of the Keyword Rankings report. Otherwise, some excellent keyword research resources can be found here: http://moz.com/blog/category/keyword-research Hope this helps. Thx!

How to Ensure a Correct Rank Tracker Results?
Nope, nothing you need to do. Moz calculates ranking using queries and setups to strip the effects of localization and personalization. In reality, it's rare that a large number of people will ever see the same set of search results due to these two factors, so Frederico is very correct in his assessment.

Twitter cards - one account, various domains?
I never come across a case like this on the internet so the ideal idea will be to contact the developers team but I don’t think there should be a problem and logically it make sense to me!

Here's one example -- http://www.statefarm.com/agent/US/CA/Pleasanton/name omitted-7X4H03GS000 . The Domain Authority is 93 for this agent page and page authority is 44. I checked a couple of other sites that use subdomains. One site used a www domain address and redirected that local branch/affiliate to the subdomain. In this case, local control was a requirement. See http://www.ameravant.com/article/3398-subdomains-and-seo-pros-and-cons-of-subdomains-vs-subdirectories for a good article on pros and cons of subdomains. Hope this is helpful.

Guest writer for a magazine that is .pdf?
Hi Karl, The magazine is reputable, but don't think it goes out anywhere except to their online members. I like the idea you mentioned, but seems the tough part of content marketing is the outreach part. Man there is such a wealth of knowledgeable folks here on moz. Awesome having experts like you help small guys like me. Thanks so much! ron

Can you track amount of visitors to competitive websites/blogs?
You are right the numbers are only an estimates but I disagree with you that they are "Worthless", is always good to have an idea of your competitors traffic. You can see what is the potential of market x or y looking by looking at big players estimate traffic.

Analytics tagging on social media links
Hi Greg, Personally I would use medium=social for any social activity (paid or unpaid) and let utm_content and utm_campaign idenfity that the activity was from a paid initiative. This can also help if your Google Analytics and Adwords accounts are linked, and auto tagging is on. When auto tagging is on, Google automatically creates the medium 'cpc' for Adwords campaigns. To keep things clean in Google Analytics, I keep medium=cpc exclusively for paid search. Hope this helps. For an epic article on campaign tracking, check out: http://www.annielytics.com/guides/definitive-guide-campaign-tagging-google-analytics/ Best wishes Karl

Showing up in Related Videos on Youtube
I don't think that, right now, It has a huge amount to do with G+. However, you can bet that the integration will be there at some point in the near future.

Rank Tracker page shows only first 50 entries
Well as I understand it if I have these keywords added through a campaign then they will not consume the quantity of available keywords through the rank tracker. Every one of the keywords is in a campaign (to my knowledge). The usefulness of the keyword rank tracker is that it's able to export the results for use on a spreadsheet we utilize.

How do I add the date range to the PDF reports?
Hi there! Because you can add modules from different timeframes (daily or weekly), for most modules the timeframe is displayed above the tables / graphs. Does that work for you? Or would you like the date the report was generated listed at the top of the report as well? Thanks! Miranda Rensch - Product Manager

Can I dissavow links on a 301'd website?
I tend to agree with Federico's concerns. If the 301 transfers a penalty, the impact could be long-term, and it could be harder to rescue site B. The short-term ranking gains may not be worth it. Google hasn't been clear on how this operates with 301 redirects. John's suggestion to disavow on both sites seems safe. Worst case, it's wasted effort, but it's not much effort (once you've built one file, building two is easy). Still, you've got to wait for that to process, and if the algorithmic penalty is something like Penguin, then you'd have to wait for a data refresh. This could take months, so I'd be really hesitant to risk site B until you've cleaned up the mess. Once you disavow to site A, the 301-redirect should be fairly safe, but it does depend on the extent of the penalty. The risk/reward trade-off is definitely a "devil is in the details" sort of situation.

Problem with Google reading https homepage?
Hi Federico, Thanks for taking the time to check out the site. I understand that there are hundreds of factors that come into play when looking at search ranking. It's just frustrating that we've pretty much followed all the instructions laid out on SEO Moz but don't seem to be getting the results - the only reason I can see why this might be is because of something related to our homepage under SSL (the redirect, the sitemap, or something simple missing in the structure). I have analyzed our competitors and I cannot see why we are not getting improvements compared to what they are doing. When choosing an SEO professional, how can we be sure that they will be able to diagnose the issue we are having as nobody so far has been able to pinpoint the issue? -G

Getting A Duplicate Listing Removed
Yes, that definitely helps! And, I just checked back on the "tampa car accident lawyer" vs "tampa car accident attorney" question I asked you a few weeks ago. I posted on the original thread, but the local pack is now showing up for both terms. Thanks again, Ruben

When Googling site:mydomain.com what does listing order tell us?
Well, the way I see it is it gives you two bits of info: It tells you if the homepage is the strongest URL on your domain. If it's not, you have a big problem. It tells you which pages Google thinks are most relevant as a search result for your domain. This is basically useless. However, if you add any keyword to it, now it is 100% relevance for that keyword. site:mysite.com keyword That puts the pages on your site in order of SEO strength (for the most part.) The list by itself acts (more) like: site:mysite.com mysite.com
