Mixed English and Arabic URLs
Not at all, if the URL language matches the content of the page then it should be even better that using a full English URL. However, I would suggest using domain.com/ar/blog/عنوان بلوق عربية طويلة حقا على شيء مثير جدا للاهتمام for the arabic blog and if there's an english or french version of that page, you can also implement hrelang on them and point them to domain.com/blog/English-blog-title-really-long-on-something-very-interesting Hope that helps!

No index, or no index no follow?
Carl, I have a few ideas and suggestions. I will respond to your original mentions: "Obviously, the affiliate store will not be unique content, it will be made using the datafeeds from cj.com et al, and so I don't want to get any duplicate content type penalties from Google for this store." I find this interesting that you automatically assume that you have to use the original datafeeds from CJ. I would encourage you to contact Commission Junction directly on this matter. Many services allow you to provide an alternative product description, etc. The faq section of feedwizards has an example which you can read about here: https://dashboard.feedwizards.com/faq/9 (look for: How do I avoid duplicate content on shopping engines & affiliates using my feeds) Matt Cutts as also spoken on this topic as well in the video I included. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z07IfCtYbLw Hope this helps watch?v=z07IfCtYbLw

Do you think this page has been algorithmically penalised or is it just old?
They may for awhile - the thing is, WMT is not updated regularly (think of it as PageRank, just a little faster. lol) So you could disavow and 4 weeks later see results but see the links in WMT for 3 months. I wouldn't worry about what's in there if you disavowed correctly. Single links & domains, like this: http://www.links.com/innerlinks-here/ Domain: andthiswholesite.com

Is It Okay If an Inner Page's Anchor Text Isn't Included in TDK Meta Tags of Point-to Page?
Hi Katrine, The way you formatted the link with example.com then you put the keyword1 under title then in the anchor text you actually put the domain name or URL that is not going to benefit you in anyway shape or form. The keyword media data tag is worthless today it is only going to give away to your competitors what you want to rank for and I strongly recommend not using it. Otherwise if I wanted to have a link that had the keyword anchor text that said the eseal. And my wording was the See ESEAL Info! is excellent on 45° in higher pitch roofs in the enduser is going to see you link or text but up and took them to a page about the last of eseal this is an example that would be a valuable link to have. Because it would pass link juice from one page to another and it would also give the end-user and easy way to navigate two more information about the product they may want to look at called "eseal" in this example For the media data tags simply write a very good description under hundred and 140 characters and for your title you want to put your keyword first and then they – and your brand name under 70 characters. This is good for both new schema and open graph tags required by social media http://moz.com/blog/meta-data-templates-123 If you're creating just basic tags I would use this tool. However I would never use the keyword box http://www.internetmarketingninjas.com/meta-tag-generator/ I hope I was of help, Thomas

How is this possible?
I check your site that you give me here, there is smaller links and has low as 13 Domain authority, it may happen because of site behavior, google may think that this site may performs better in search results to the users. Don't go forward if site don't have unique content and also not have better social points then site go down, you have to concentrate on your website, if you want to rank your site, you must start working on it. Build better links, Increase PA & DA, and definitely you got better ranking.

Content on Category(esque) Pages
2-3 sentences is going to be better than nothing, yes. Don't go overboard on the anchor text links to other internal pages, but it can certainly be beneficial.

Does Adding Affiliate ID's to Link Affects it's Value
I think affiliates are basically advertising that is paid based on performance and we know that Google wants advertising links to be no-followed. No-following the links would be the safe route to take.

What Marketing Automation Software do you like best?
I must say that don't use fully automated tools for any type of marketing. If you going to make links, do it manually don't use any software, but for form filling or some type of data entry you can use roboform for that. If you are going for marketing as i think hubspot is better tool or you can search in google and read reviews about it.

Shortcut Link and Referral domain in Google Analytics
You don't see traffic from bit.ly as they actually redirect the user without serving any content, therefore is just a redirection, instead, you should see the actual referrer, facebook, or whatever. However, if you are getting the hit from a facebook page, it is probably an HTTPS page, and therefore, if redirected to a non-SSL page referrer information isn't passed along. However, you could see something like facebook.com/u.php?.... You should use Analytics tracking variables to better understand from which posts are those visitors coming: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1033867?hl=en As for your second question, just like you can interpret the redirection, so can Google or whatever search engine scrapes the page looking for signals. It won't matter if you pass them through bit.ly or services alike, the link ends up in your site (as long as there's a 300 redirection in place, which it is in bit.ly). Hope that helps!

Disabled Trackbacks and Comments, now I need to clean up
Hey Ashley I want to just clarify - do you mean to say people were spamming links to your site in order to receive automatic trackbacks from your site? Otherwise, having comment/trackback spam on your site is a separate issue from having incoming spammy links. So, if your automatic trackbacks were like a magnet attracting poor links, and you have now shut off this function, in theory the bad links should spot coming in, which they seem to have stopped. So your next step as Chris suggests is to disavow all the bad domains. But aside from that, in general I would think you would want comments and maybe even trackbacks to be active on your site, in which case I would enable them but require moderator approval on all first-time comments/trackbacks - this should deter spammers etc. Then what you also want to do in order to activate comments is go through all of your old posts and completely delete all comment and trackback spam and leave only the real ones. -Dan
