URL inaccessible for On Page Grader
Hi there, Sorry for the trouble, but thanks for reaching out! It looks like that URL's server configuration doesn't contain all of the necessary intermediate certificates. You should be able to request these from your hosting service which will hopefully resolve the issue :). For more information on configuration issues you can check your URL with https://sslcheck.globalsign.com/en_US. I hope this helps, and have a wonderful day! Cheers, Jordan Moz Help Team

Crawl Report Internal Links Count
Thank you for the reply Abe. Perhaps I am not following. The crawl report has distinct columns for Internal Links and External Links per page. According to the description of the report (What's included in my Crawl Test report?): Internal Links Number of links on a page that point to the same domain as that page. Linking Root Domains Number of root domains that link to this page. External Links Number of links on a page that point to a page that is not on the same domain as that page. Referring again to actual pages from the report: Page / Internal Links / Linking Root Domains / External Links http://www.phase1tech.com/Upcoming-Events / 800 / 1 / 0 http://www.phase1tech.com/Contact / 800 / 1 / 0 http://www.phase1tech.com/FLIR-Cameras / 724 / 1 / 0 Is the report incorrect then?

How do you check keyword rankings for your sites?
I like SEM Rush. It gives you daily ranking updates for your keywords and allows you to monitor the serps for your keywords. I actually find the moz raking a little poor in comparison, mostly because it is only updated weekly. But I do look at both to make sure they correlate as much as possible, and they seem to. I spot check the SEM Rush rankings against searching manually every now and then too to make sure its accurate. So far it has been. I have used it for just over a year. All ranking tools have limitations - country specific, data center differences, google testing stuff, etc etc. Only way to be 100% sure what the ranking is is to manually check (with a 'clean' browser as mentioned by someone else), but I bet you (like me) have better things to do with your time! Be interested to know what you choose and how you get on with it. Best wishes, Amelia

What does Mozcape actually do and what types of businesses use it?
Alright, so I don't particularly think I need to be using this for my purposes, but thank you all for clarifying this issue for me. I greatly appreciate it! Special thanks to Chris and Leslie who continually help me out. I especially appreciate your consistent help! Best, Ruben

Why does Open site explorer only show a fraction of the linked Domains that Google does?
Hi George - gotcha. That makes sense. The explanation is really simple - we crawl as much as we're able to process (processing and calculating metrics like PA/DA/MozRank/MozTrust/etc are our bandwidth barreirs right now). Other services don't calculate those metrics, but Google & Bing have found ways to do both (large crawls and immediate processing at scale). We're moving to a model similar to Google soon, but in the meantime, our index is smaller than others (particularly in certain sections/parts of the deep web, less trustworthy sites, and more spammy areas of the web). I will nudge the team to get up a page on Mozscape that helps to better explain this.

Google Maps redirect notice on track-able URL's (how do I track maps visits in analytics?)
Hi Red Nova, While, unfortunately, I don't know how to resolve this, I do know there is a Google and Your Business forum thread open right now on this topic. I would highly suggest adding your own query to that thread. The more people that respond to it, the better the chances of getting a response from a Google staffer with a suggested solution. Here's the thread: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!searchin/business/analytics|sort:date/business/Ab_sPzkwTBg/02Dm0hAIfo4J The issue is pretty new - I'm sorry not to have a easy fix for you, but I hope the link will at least get you talking with others who are having this problem, and perhaps some of our community members will contribute here if they've found a fix. I hope so!

Schema - Street Address
Yes. The layout markup should not mess things up. Just put the whole street address within itemprop="streetAddress", and you should be fine.

Which SSL should I get or does it even matter?
It doesnt really matter....for now. Obviously, you'll need to pay more and give more information to get the better certificates so THAT might have an effect in the future. Who knows when. I'm currently moving some of our sites to different certs to test them in the coming year. Getting the greenbar, say like Yoast's site or Paypal and many others, it does give you a more secure feel. For regular browsers, it could mean that it's safer, maybe it could lead to better engagement/conversions

Anyone else see a redundant hostnames message in GA this morning?
Thanks. We made sure a 301 redirect is in place but the error is still there. It's been days now. I'm not sure what else to do.

Which CMS is Perfect for White Label Product
When it comes down to customization ability, it's really hard to beet MODx CMS (http://modx.com). I have built everything from e-commerce sites to internal applications such as a CRM for publication company. If you don't have the development ability, they offer commercial support and have quite a few big clients they've worked with such as Dell. The real beauty of MODx is that it's designed to help you build without having to hack the core. Pretty much anything you want to accomplish, you can do so while maintaining a clean upgrade path. Hopefully this helps

Will Moving Categories Affect SEO
Hi If you're URL / permalink is not changing than in theory all the off-page SEO for the page will be unaffected since the page still exists. So external link juice still has some where to go (to coin a phrase). But beware of the anchor text of the link (well be aware) - more about this below: Andy makes a good point in that if you are changing manufacturer than most likely some of the text will change ( obviously "Nike" changes to "Gap" for example). So from an on-page SEO perspective the page has changed and this might affect how well the particular page ranks for "Nike Green Sweater" since quite obviously that particular page is no longer about Nike Green Sweaters and assuming the search engine bot is doing its job it will work this out and adjust indexing for that brand specific keyword combination. To deal with that potential problem, I would suggest adding a link to the Nike Green Sweater page on the Gap Green Sweater page - you can do this quite naturally by adding a "related products" link or "people who bought this also bought" or "looking for Nike Green Sweater?" (for example). This passes some of the link juice for your page to the Nike Green Sweater page. Helping Nike Green Sweater Wearers...or Another Reason for an Internal Link: Creating an internal link to the Nike Green Sweater page also helps people who came to your site through a link that explicitly referred to "Nike Green Sweaters" and were looking for "Nike Green Sweaters". (You could use a tool like AHREFs or Google Webmaster or Open Site Explorer to find the anchor text being used by people externally linking to you to get a sense of the scale of this "problem". )

My www. domain has less page authroity than my non www.
I see. well looks like they already added the rel=alternative links into the code. I guess the only thing left to do is set the preferred domain in WM tools.

Can I speed up removal of cache for 301'd page on unverified website?
Thanks Lantec, I didn't realise you could do this, even if you didn't own the website. Good to know. I've just checked before using the tool and the cache has been removed already, so really quick work from Google, very good. Even though I didn't need the tool you suggested, it's a good one to remember. I just tried the tool to see what happened, and if the URL you enter is still live and on the web, then it says on the first screen: The content is still live on the web. Before Google can remove it from our search results, the site owner needs to take down or update the content. Has the site owner updated or removed the content? Yes...No.... All makes sense. Nice find

How to get SEO MOz to re crawl my site?
James is correct, you can force a crawl with this tool up to 3,000 pages. Regardless, Rogerbot crawls each site that you have a campaign set up for on the same day each week. (Go to the crawl diagnostics page to see the date of the last crawl.)
