Are All Paid Links and Submissions Bad?
That is the predicament I find myself in. One of my competitors who are outranking me on short-tail terms have a bunch of paid advertisements (and followed links) on authoritative sites that I am currently not on. I have a sneaking suspicion these links are a major reason for their success. Curious, did you pay up to join your competition?

Clients domain expired - rankings lost - repurchased domain - what next?
Hmm, yeah this is not the best position you want to be in. I would make sure that your Web site is listed in both Google Webmaster Tools as Bing Webmaster Tools. If you already are I would also really submit my sitemaps like 20 times to be sure that Google is aware that your pages need to be recrawled again in the hope that they then also will index them again and hope they will put them back on their old positions.

Bing Disavow file
Just in case someone lands here via a search I thought I'd add a solution/hack. I found and just tested the method at http://www.richmcpharlin.com/seo/scalable-link-disavow-with-bing-free-tool/. It works like a charm.

Image alt attribute - keyword stuffing?
Patrick Sexton is a pretty well known "tool" dude in the SEO world - I think if I remember correctly, he was David Mihm's original partner for the getlisted puppy... That said, give this URL a try to one of his great online tools to audit EVERY image on a webpage and show you what needs attention when it comes to SEO for images... Link is here... :-0 Jim

How to set up internal linking with subcategories?
It seems like you are actually asking 2 questions in one. Let's approach them both separately. Should you include index.html or not in your structure? Personally, I think the cleanest URL structure works the best. Get rid of any URL parameters that do not offer any benefit. Cleaner URLs not only look better, but are easier to read and share. Who really wants to share DOMAIN.com/fishing.index.html vs DOMAIN.com/fishing. It may seem petty, but in the grander scheme of things it will just work better. If you do this in one area of your site, keep it consistant through the whole site As to making sure that Google only indexes one version, this can be done through the URL parameter redirects on your server. You can create rules where the URL automatically strips out any additional URL items, and redirects to the proper version. Once you create your sitemap, make sure to only include the versions of your URL you want indexed. One thing I have found in my entire SEO career is this: The easier and clearer you paint a picture for Google about your site, the better your results will be.

CDATA WooCommerce
Check the content of your "ecomm_prodid" parameter, usually the source of all nightmares. When you include multiple product id you need to format it properly, and google example is wrong and missing a comma. I just googled to search for a good example: http://marketlytics.com/setup-adwords-dynamic-remarketing-using-tag-manager/

Language Usage for SEO in Hong Kong
My apologies for overlooking your response. A good tool is https://github.com/jpatokal/script_detector. It is a library for Ruby and you can use the interactive Ruby console (irb) to use the function to identify script in an easy way. If you need help/guidance with that drop me a reply here or by private message and I'd be happy to help.

Hubspot Dangers?
Ruben I wanted to mention also that Hubspot can be set up as a Wordpress Plugin so you're not creating a new subdomain at all, but publishing content on your existing domain if it's on Wordpress. I'm not sure if that is possible with other content management systems, but it's worth a question to support. This is how we use Hubspot on our site, www.GoInflow.com, which is on Wordpress.

I have links coming from spammy sites that DO NOT exist anymore... Disavow or not?
There is no value in not disavowing those spammy links. I would disavow every poor link that you can find linking to your site. That way, google won't be confused as they don't always crawl the deal links (if they still show up in serp)

Title tag terminology on website
Thanks for your answers. That helps a lot. I'm still strugling with exactly how to do it. The domainname "Maleribasen.dk" basically meaning "Paintingsdatabase" is not a "brand" as so, but it's one of the most popular private gallerysites, which is a "niche" market thou. The latest article's subject is translated from danish "How to price my own painting?" and it's an article to help the artists with putting the right pricetag on their paintings. So, how would u do the title-tag on this article? 1. How to price my own painting? | Maleribasen.dk 2. How to price my own painting? - Buy and sell paintings | Maleribasen.dk 3. How to price my own painting? Or something else? The frontpage title I will probatly change to something like "Buy and sell paintings by private artists | Maleribasen.dk". Before it was "Maleribasen.dk - Buy and sell paintings".
