Category: Feature Requests

Let us know about features and functionality that you’d like to see in the Moz tools.

  • I'm afraid that we don't really have a way to display that kind of info right about now, since Google doesn't share all of their search volume data anymore. It would definitely be a cool feature if we had access to the data though! Perhaps someone else has a suggestion for where you could find some comparable info to what you're after

  • Hi JoAnne! Could you submit a help ticket to help@moz.com so that I can take a look at your campaigns and file a bug if necessary? Thanks! Kevin Help Team

  • Indeed, there is! On the option window that pops up when requesting a Full SERP Report from the Keyword Difficulty tool, you'll be able to use the bottom box to specify an 11th URL that you'd like to have compared with the first 10 search results (http://www.screencast.com/t/nzpvgpXgQq). Party on

  • Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to do this. It's certainly possible that one of our other community members would have some experience with this type of request, but I'm afraid that I don't have any wonderful insight to bestow :(. Best of luck!

  • Hello! Thank you for the request. I will definitely pass this over to our product team to review in case they do not see this.

  • Google stated last year that they render pages as a normal user would. So if content is initially hidden in an accordion, Google may asses a value less than if it wasn't hidden in the first place. This also assumes that the hidden content has been crawled and indexed. Thoughts?

  • I thought they took the affiliate site down a couple of years ago. I signed up and a week later it was removed with a redesign coming soon.

  • Favorites linked to your profile would be pretty sweet although I use Evernote for this at the moment. As far as subscribing, push the "email updates" button on any thread and you will be subscribed to it. You don't have to reply to use email updates so you can easily follow any questions or discussions you want using this feature. Hope that helps!

  • That would be awesome, indeed! While I can't make any sort of promises, I'll definitely recant your tales of groggy, sleepless eyes on a frosty Sunday morn to our Product Team to see if there's anything we can do

  • Thanks for dropping by Linda, You are right, my moz profile page has came back to some sort of normality, not the same PA but similar, I believe this "relatively small change in PA" is due to what Rand, Patrick and Matt have explained referring to "mozscape update issue".  Actually I placed a form in the moz help desk and Sean´s answer was the following: "Thanks for writing us and it does appear to be quite a mystery. While we do not seem to be able to determine the reason for this particular disappearance..." and they didn´t see any links at all in my profile which refering to links, it appeared as empty!. As a matter of fact I couldn´t fill them "again" as for me, they where perfectly correct and seen in my own profile. Anyway, things are more or less back to where they had been before. Thanks for all your replies, I believe it was some sort of a mistery, and will remain as a mistery... Regards from sunny southern Spain.

  • Boo. I am begrudgingly marking this question as answered. Thank you for passing on the feature request, though.

  • Hello! The categories we display are close matches to what already exists on various search engines. You would need to reach out to each service to request they add those categories.

  • Hi, This company appears to only do US and Europe. Is there a tool that can do Australia at a efficient price?

  • Your facebook page has a high number of backlinks from a very small number of domains.  I wonder if the link quality has something to do with it.  Have you dug down into what backlinks are pointed at your facebook page? Also, what about freshness of content on the facebook pages?  Uniqueness of content as well?  This can have quite a big impact I have found. There are so many factors to consider in SEO that the Moz metrics are just that.  A guide that can point you in the right direction.  I quite often outrank competitors despite having vastly lower scores.
