How Often Does Moz Crawl a Site for DA
Hey, Your sites DA is already calculated within Link Explorer and is separate from the 'Site Crawl' function in a campaign. Site Crawl is ideally used to discover any issues with your site. Link Explorer and the Links tab of Moz Pro Campaigns are both tied to our Link index, which is constantly updating. Our index updates daily! Moz crawls and indexes billions of pages, adding fresh link data every day. When discovered or lost links are found, we'll update our database to reflect those changes in your scores and link counts. We prioritize the links we crawl based on a machine learning algorithm to mimic Google's index. Each day DA and PA will be updated to reflect this new data. This does not mean that DA and PA will change every day; it'll only change if we find new link data for a respective site. I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly when your DA will update it depends on when we find new equity passing backlinks to your site. You can read more about our new Link Explorer tool and our index here. You can also read more about how our Link index compares with our competitors here https://backlinko.com/best-backlink-checker Hope that helps, feel free to reach out to help@moz.com with any further questions, Eli

Is it true to buy social singals?
Instead of paying people for social signals and spending time investigating the value of this paid service, please turn your attention to publishing content that will delight your visitors. If you do that, your visitors will create the social signals for you.

Errors for URLS being too long and archive data is duplicate
Hi there, Sam from Moz's Help Team here - apologies in advance for the long response! 1. URLs too long. URL length and format for SEO is a bit of a balancing act. When considering URLs for SEO you want to make sure that the URL is simple enough to remember and understand for human visitors and that it accurately describes what is on the page. If your URLs do this job, but are a bit longer than 75 characters, then I wouldn't be too concerned. You do want to keep you eye out for URLs that are not within this basic structure: http://www.example.com/category-keyword/subcategory-keyword/primary-keyword.html, contain long and confusing codes, and are taking a hit in the rankings. As I'm sure you're already aware, changing URLs is quite painful, as you need to make sure the old URLs are redirected and this adds more moving parts to your site that could cause problems down the line. So, if you're happy with the job your URLs are doing currently, but the tool flags these as too long, I would definitely consider holding off on making changes. It may be that you use this information to make amendments to future URLs, or rethink your site structure as part of a bigger project. In the meantime you can "Ignore" those issue either by page or by Issue Type through the Moz Pro Site Crawl interface so they don't crop up every week. You can read more about this on our Help Hub. Here are some resources on URL formating and how to best structure them for SEO: https://moz.com/community/q/what-should-be-the-length-of-page-url-from-seo-perspective https://moz.com/learn/seo/url https://moz.com/blog/15-seo-best-practices-for-structuring-urls 2. Duplicates Our tool has a 90% tolerance for duplicate content, which means it will flag any content that has 90% of the same code between pages. This includes all the source code on the page and not just the viewable text, so often it's a matter of finding the best answer for the duplicate pages in question. For instance, often with ecommerce sites, product pages will come up with duplicate content between two colors of the same item, and in that case it's good to use the canonical tag: https://moz.com/learn/seo/canonicalization. If there are two versions of the page that exist - for instance, example.com/subfolder and www.example.com/subfolder - you can put in 301 redirects to the correct page: https://moz.com/learn/seo/redirection. If it's just two pages on different subjects but with thin content, filling out that content with an extra paragraph or two can help.

Feature Request: connecting to Adobe Analytics
Hello, I found this thread and was wondering if there has been any updates on Moz supporting Adobe Analytics. I have several clients that utilize Adobe Analytics, and there's a huge opportunity to leverage Moz to support their needs. Thanks,

Are Monthly-Run custom reports supposed to compare against the previous month?
We have our reports set to run Monthly, but some of the stats show compared to the previous WEEK. Shouldn't they all show the previous month? Is there a way to set that up? 2UhwtYV 2UhwtYV

Is there a way to view the top 100 highest priority keywords?
If you gain access to the site's Search Console (Google product) then you can view all the search queries connecting with the site over time. The ones driving the most clicks would be the priority ones to 'look after' in a take-over scenario. Use the search-query data from Search Console, do not use the "keyword" data from Google Analytics (as at this point, years after Not Provided, it provides a virtually worthless sample)

Is there a moz tool to optimize original advertorial content?
Thanks but I am finding that the keyword tool does not provide me with Hong Kong-based feedback. The results are what I would expect from someone searching for information on Hong Kong who knows little about the city. My audience is HK based English speakers.

CSV Report Export
Hi, I am also interested in an automated export please, as a CSV/TSV file, either to be configured in the UI or via API. Perhaps add to Moz's wishlist.

Filer Keyword Suggestions By Difficulty Score
Thanks Samantha, I appreciate the response. As for adding the keywords to a list to see the scores that's essentially what I've been doing. For me, the issue isn't using up queries it's just that the process takes so long. It would save me countless hours to just be able to tell the sheet to only show me keywords below a certain difficulty. That with the monthly volume filter would let me zero in on perfect keywords VERY quickly. As I read your response though I realize if that were possible it could effectively mean you have an unlimited number of queries. I completely understand that MOZ would have to be conscious of how to price that in order to not essentially make every subscription unlimited. However, I would certainly appreciate the development team looking into it and would be willing to pay a higher subscription price to get it.

Can I track Page Authority on a custom report?
Hi there! Sam from Moz's Help Team here! Yes, you can indeed add Page Authority as a module - however, you will only be able to do this on a root domain level. When in the Custom Reports area > Add Modules, head to the Links module and then 'Inbound Links'. You can then add the first module that appears - for your own site, as well as your competitors. If you're running into trouble finding this, just shoot us an email at help@moz.com and we'll be happy to assist!

Any way to programatically retrieve a campaign's Search Visibility score?
Hey there At this time there isn't a way to pull the search visibility metric via an API or some type of automated fashion. Our Search Visibility score represents your overall ranking performance for your tracked keywords. It’s calculated by: Taking all of your keywords and the associated URL’s position and applying a CTR (click-through rate) for each position. The CTRs are then summed This number is then divided by the total number of keywords. If you'd like to read more about how Search Visibility works, check out our Help Hub.
