MOZ not accepting our recent changes it still showing us old Crawl Diagnostics report
The only differences between the campaign crawl and the crawl test are that the campaign is an automated tracking that updates once a week and the crawl test is an on the spot crawl that can be requested at any time, though the crawl test is limited to crawling only 3000 pages of a site. (This shouldn't be an issue for the Stop Wobble site, as we have only found about 600 pages.) The type of audit you get between the two tools is the same. The purpose of the crawl test is to audit sites that you don't necessarily want to create a full campaign for yet, but it is often used check site updates between regularly scheduled campaign crawls.

Can't add "Custom links" in my Moz Profile
Thanks, Keri. I was able to get it to save. It seems there are limitations in place with special characters and length of characters allowed within the "Title" field, and the "URL" field may be limited to the root domain only. At least that's what we deciphered from our tests. I will email help@moz.com for confirmations/clarifications.

Changed to HTTPS: Do I need to update Moz?
Hey Thomas! If the re-auth does not work this is likely a token expiration which needs to be revoked from the Google side: While logged into your Google Analytics account, click on this link and revoke Moz https://accounts.google.com/issuedauthsubtokens Then disconnect and re-connect your profile in Moz Do not use "re-auth" as it will not work when revoking tokens. Crawl errors are still shown after fixed
WMT is slow as heck to have those things go away. it may take 3 months to roll off. FYI, if there is a 404 error and it is supposed to be a 404, do not mark as fixed. Otherwise Google will think you "fixed" the 404 back to a 200, recrawl and then put the 404 back in the GWT errors. Just let the 404s roll off over time.

Reactivating an archived account not working
I'm having trouble with this as well but the 'ticket' link in the previous comment doesn't work. Not sure best way to get in touch but I'm trying to reactivate an archived campaign and it says I need to upgrade my account. I currently have 4 active campaigns so I should have room for 1 more. Thanks.

Duplicate content
Duplicate content does not have to involve pages that are grouped together. You can even have cross-domain duplicate content. There is not a direct penalty for duplicate content. The issue is that when Google sees pages (wherever they may be) that appear to be the same, it will choose which one to index, omitting the others. So as Andy says, when pages are being evaluated for duplicate content, it is best to be aware of very similar pages so you can take steps to distinguish them, if you want them each to rank.

I jumped out to the SERPs and looked at the cached version. If you get out there before google recaches you can read it. If you are too late to see it, the question was about... If you get a new client with a problem website, when do you tell the client that he needs a new website instead of doing SEO on the existing website.

Is there a report that will show Keyword Rank History for the life of an active campaign?
Certainly! You can request a CSV containing all of your ranking data from the dawn of your campaign by hitting the 'Email Rankings History CSV' button with the 'Keyword Rankings' section of your campaign :).

Why can I not crawl this site
Hi there! We cannot resolve this page nor can my browser: The server at new.kbc.be can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network. Hope this helps!

I have removed a subdomain from my main domain. We have stopped the subdomain completely. However the crawl still shows the error for that sub-domain. How to remove the same from crawl reports.
Patrick's answer gives you a great check list. I'd only add that you within Moz Analytics you can customize the crawler to only report on a certain portion of the site if problems still arise in displaying your data. Still, by using 301 redirection from the old subdomain to new location, cleaning up any old referencing links, and blocking further indexation you should see the errors disappear. Cheers!

I have the same domain name that branches out to 4 different locations on my campaigns. Can I combine all 4 of these campaigns into one campaign?
Hi John! I'm afraid there isn't a way to "merge" campaigns together. Your campaigns are each tracking specific sub-folders and different competitors. You could use the New Orleans campaign as the primary since this is tracking all pages for the domain, then choose the top 3 competitors you want to track and add keywords (if there is room) from the other campaigns to track. On Page Optimization and Page Grader in Moz Needs Some Fixes
Same same! The "automatic" grader makes a mess of an otherwise useful tool!!! Two options: you either allow us to remove once for all all the auto-rubish gradded pages once for all OR you allow us to filter said grades based upon the same filter we can use for tracking KWs... The reason is extremely simple! On all the pages that I push, I use a main KW and several, long tail / semantically close ones! Your stupid tool gets ALL the pages and create long lists of pages THAT I KNOW are not optimised for SEO YET ONES THAT STILL RANK as they are targeting long tail KWs! Hence a rather large mess! Beyond me why this issue that is experienced by quite a few of us CAN'T BE SIMPLY SORTED! Almost a full year now since first post... Not impressed... Cdlt, G.

Can I share read-only report with team members?
Howdy there! Right now we only offer single seat logins for Moz. For the PDF reports you will have to download the report and send it along if you wish to share it. There is no protection on them so share away!
