  • Absolutely great advice from EGOL, but it's a lot easier when you really selling just one product from your webpage, checking the analytics everybody goes to the tariff page and then moves on to the availability if they make it,  some get put off by the tariff page and leave

  • Thanks acs111, In my research I had actually bookmarked brighter option SAM ad manager, and have sent a quote request. They would be a top contender. As mentioned if I do go with a third-party tool I will be looking for low cut % from spend. We generally use FB ads to boost FB likes. Our clients range from IT companies (we use ads for promotions), to restaurants. Thanks again for your tips and reach out.

  • Yes that 90% from Google scares me too. I'm trying to get social -I have a facebook page and a blog- But this has minor impact at my traffic for now. Hope in time will get better.

  • I am a Marketing Manager for a Home Improvement Company in Baltimore, MD. A landing page is definitely a great tool if you have the right call to action. I think your landing page looks great!! it has all the trust factors and is designed well. The only thing I would add is a value to the customer for submitting the request. Request a FREE NO-Obligation Estimate and receive a 10% OFF online discount today! ...... or something to that effect. Also, you don't have a phone number on the landing page. If you want to track results... use a call tracking system like Ring Central or 1.800 Response (do your own research on pricing) Some people just don't want to give there email address to you but they'll certainly call if they see your add. Also.. don't forget a good Page Name and Description for the landing page for the SERPs.

  • Yes, but you need to run an advanced report like the examples here: https://www.majesticseo.com/support/tools/advanced-reports

  • Hey there, I was going to write up a full response, but honestly this video does it better than I even could. Have you seen it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nJzwDIf7r4 Your specific question begins to get answered around 2:25 mark, but you might want to watch the whole thing to get context. The part about default and custom segments begins around 4:50. Basically, you can either query for a dynamic segmentation ("on the fly"), one of the default segments (same as the ones in the GA interface like direct, search, mobile, etc.), or one of your custom segments that you created in the interface. You're gonna have to grab the ID associated with your custom segment and call it with: &segment=gaid::{whatever the id of your segment is} The ID that you need will be listed in your XML account feed (around 5:15 in the video). Hope that helps.

  • That's how I understand it but the Google help documents say that it will influence the "local monthly searches" column: If you access the Keyword Tool from within an ad group, the Local Monthly Searches column will factor in your campaign'scountry and language targeting (if you target a region or city, only the country will be reflected). If you use the Keyword Tool [image: doit.gif], your country and language selections will influence this column. The **Global Monthly Searches **column always shows traffic in all countries and all languages. Hope that helps. I don't find it to be super exact since when I use the US and language Japanese for some common search terms, it lowers the local search volume by only like 5 or 10 percent. I wouldn't make too many firm decisions based off of it since the accuracy of the results seem a little suspect to me. -jv

  • Awesome. Thank you, JXT Group. That worked. We used to show reviews on our ad words campaign too and that disappeared when our Google products dropped off earlier. do you know about that also? thanks!

  • Read a post by Will Critchlow which mentioned Server Density so I've been using them for a couple of months and must say I really like it! Response times are based on loading whole page not just header - as we know, an important element for SEO. Really great guys and the MD, David Mytton, has been really helpful. They have an iPhone App which is great for monitoring....or for just being a complete geek Also 7 day trial, so nothing to lose.

  • You could use an html counter instead. Countdown Timer Seems pretty easy to configure, should be faster than yours, and its free.

  • If you're logged out and click the Like button, a dialog should pop up asking you to log in before you can like it, or see the page you're liking. Thats just standard facebook, they hide all content behind the registration wall. If you're saying the likebox has no content except for a login box, that is weird, however I don't really know why it would be doing that, sorry. I can however point you to the FB developers support page
