Are backlinks within duplicate content ignored or devalued?
Hello, Have one article as the main source & mark the others with a Canonicalization tag. Your current approach is somewhat a grey-hat SEO approach.

What Are Internal Linking Best Practices For Blogs?
You're doing things by the book. Add anchor text & use images & videos also, if you have these assets.

Readd/Reindex a page that was 410'd
It depends how many there are - if there are only a few then manually fetch them all in GSC and request a crawl one by one. If there are many you could create a page with them all listed as hyperlinks and perform a fetch with using "Crawl this URL and its direct links" They should be back in very soon. It's difficult to gauge the impact. If all internal linking and backlinks are still in place you there may be minimal damage if any.

Will Reduced Bounce Rate, Increased Pages/Session, Increased Session Duration-RESULT IN BETTER RANKING?
Hi Jeff: Happy to report that improved metrics are not caused by bots or any unusual spikes in traffic. So I think we are seeing a legitimate improvement. Last year we focused on UX improvements. Will focus on content and links this year in order to solidify our gains. Thanks for your input!! Alan

Rel-canonical vs Href-lang use for an international website.
Hi there, As you say, it's always possible that Moz's bot considers duplicate content WHEN IT IS DUPLICATE! You have to tell bots, such as Moz's and Google's, that those folders aren't just copies of the other, that are also country targeted. 1- Have you implemented hreflang tags properly? 2- I feel the need to say it, when using content for other countries, always try to adjust the content for the locals. It's well known that Australians, Americans and British people don't speak the same English. These resources always come handy in cases like this: Hreflang generator - Aleyda Solis International SEO - Moz Learning Center The Guide to International Website Expansion: Hreflang, ccTLDs, & More! - Moz Blog The International SEO Checklist - Moz Blog Best luck. Hope it helps. GR

Is there a difference in SEO ranking value between a single backlink from a domain and multiple backlinks
If the links hit different pages on your site, then there will be considerable benefit to those individual pages. If the links all hit the same page, then the benefit of multiple links is not as much.

Fetch and render partial result could this affect SERP rankings [NSFW URL]
Hi Gemma, We are having EXACTLY the same issue. We keep appearing and disappearing for some keywords (while the URL is still indexed). Also in your case when we appear we are on page 1 so its not a ranking fluctuation issue - its something else. Did you manage to figure out what it was? It would be really helpful for us. Thanks, Faraz

Webshop landing pages and product pages
Hi Roman, Thanks for the answer. I go into this question again, since just adapting the taxonomy and possibly adding some tags doesn't resolve the problem. It improves the UX, and creating a new structure was part of the planning anyway. I just think we will be missing out on a lot of traffic because there are a lot of high volume keywords with low difficulty that are only applicable for the product itself (and not for a category, subcategory or tag). There will be a copywriter assigned to write descriptions for every product anyway, exactly because of the fact that these products are so specific and need more explanation. If we take the keywords for a specific product and integrate them in the product description, I think we can surely rank with these product pages. Do I see this wrong? Thanks!

Search function rendering cached pages incorrectly
Hi Michael, Can you post the site URL so I can review further? Thanks! John

Search visibility consistently low. No apparent cause.
Hi Simon! As John said, a link to your site or a little more detail would be helpful here. There's a lot of reasons a site's visibility could be low (a technical issue, low-quality content, poor keyword/page alignment, high competition etc). I know you're saying these things check out, but it's better to be able to take a direct look at things. It could also just be a metrics/data issue or misinterpretation. For example, visibility percentage can be impacted artificially by the keywords added to a rank tracker. A better way to look at it might be - have you seen a major change/drop in clicks in search console? If so, can you narrow it down to a specific date or segment it out to find specific keywords or pages that lost visibility?

Do Bit.ly links have SEO Value?
Thanks for your response, John. That's good to know. I wonder why Moz lists bit.ly as the domain with a DA of 97 when it's just a redirect from another site. Shouldn't it list the actual url? (BTW, in the case I'm referring to, the shortened link was actually an article from our competitor's own website, so definitely not a backlink.)

Advice on redirects for a category I want to reuse.
Thanks Sam, I will keep my fingers crossed Google like the new structure, but importantly it is going to be a better experience for the user.
