I would definitely keep the images and find ways to incorporate the older or obsolete images into new content on the website. If people are linking to them, they find them valuable.

Another option is to 301 redirect the image URL to the page and place the image on that page. You would then get the equity from the image link to the page.

I agree with Gaston. Something else I wanted to point out - the first site you listed is responsive. Usually, people create a mobile only site when their site isn't responsive. It's just something to note as you could be getting hit for duplicate content with your mobile site. Thanks!

It comes down to a lot of factors but the typical reason is because the homepage has the most inbound links which gives it the most authority. In order to rank an inner page over a homepage:

1. I would make sure that you have the inner page properly optimized (500+ words of content with a few mentions of the keyword phrase)

2. Make sure to inner link to the page within your site where it makes sense. A high number of inner links usually helps rank the page

3. Build some external links to that landing page as part of your overall link building campaign

Hey There! Have you had a chance to install Google Analytics on your site?

If so, you can see this by going to Google Analytics. On the left side of the page:

1. Click on behaivor

2. Click on site content

3. Click on all pages

It will then display a list of all of the viewed pages on your website.

Any chance you would be willing to share the URL so I can run some diagnostics?

A few things to look at:

1. Insuring that 301 redirects are in place to redirect non www to www and http to https

2. Google Search Console for any 404's that have popped up since the move. You'll want to redirect those too

3. Submitting your XMl sitemap to both Google and Bing via Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools

4. Making sure that you've updated your prefences in analytics to https in both property settings and view settings

In finding these index pages, I'm assuming that you did the following:

1. no-indexed the pages from the domain you are concerned about

2. dis-allowed them in robots.txt (just another step to help speed up things)

3. Used the URL removal tool in Google Search Console

Unfortunately, it does take time for Google to process these URL's out of the SERPS. Hopefully, you are seeing a decrease in the URLs shown in the SERPS

Also, don't forget to do this via the Bing Search Console too!

Hey! Have you tried uploading more photos to the yelp account or encouraging people to leave reviews with photos? Perhaps they may pick those up and replace the ones current listed on the maps.

Honestly, if the client is already on you about not losing SERPS, I'd just leave the structure as it is. Preserve it and move it over to the new site. It's not as clean as you would like it, but it does contain the blog title in it and that should contain relevant keywords/subject matter.

Can you expand on the 404 issue with Hubspot scheduling? Have you talked to them about this issue? They're pretty adaptive and I'm surprise their scheduling structure would produce 404's ahead of the post being published.

Hey Eric,

It honestly depends on the site. I think for the site you gave as an example it works. The video compliments the page and doesn't show in mobile. The things I would look at would be:

1. Time on page

2. Conversions from page

3. Bounce rate

4. Keyword positions

If any of those are showing downward trending data, you may want to remove it to see if it changes anything.

I'm curious as to why you would want to add the UTM parameters as you could just look at the referring source of traffic and attribute it to the specific site that the e-release is on.
