Looking for a good example of local pages done right
Hi Again, I recommend one page per physical address. So, if you've got 3 offices in a single city, that equals 3 pages.

Does this count as a link exchange in eyes of google?
Link Exchange is basically you giving a anchor text to another website, and they do the same. Hence link exchange. It used to influence rankings a few years back, but seems to have lost power. The trick now is to put valuable content out there, and people will link to you. No need to exchange anymore.

Local search data
A good question. I know how to split the local traffic up to see what month's are receiving the most search volume but I'm not sure about geographically.

302 error removing site from results
As for issue #4. I believe that is where they used to have pages for each dimension of a product. So it would be upper level, sub level, product level. Some products have hundreds of the same thing but with one inch different so they removed those pages and redirected them.

Youtube shows vs playlist
Hey, I'm not entirely sure i understand your question, but i'll do my best to explain some of what i think you're getting at. Neither one is "better" as such, as they both apply really to different types of content. You should make your decision based upon what's appropriate for the content, rather than a perceived search benefit. If you have the rights to upload and present a TV show through your channel - then this is the most appropriate way to do this and i would recommend uploading the full episodes as shows, rather than breaking them up. You can then put the shows into a playlist, e.g. "this show, season 1". However, if you don't have the rights to the content, then breaking shows up into 15 minute segments and then creating a playlist (which people often do) is essentially a breach of copyright and can get you into trouble. If you're uploading a series of content which isn't really a TV show, but nonetheless contains "episodes" in a sense, then a playlist is a sensible way to go.

Creative link building ideas for law sites
You should also look into getting listed in niche lawyer sites, does not matter if they are follow or nofollow links. Look for links, citations of URL, phone number and so on.

Feedback on link building idea
I like where your heads at and this can be a great way to build links. However, I would only allow relavent and authoritative sites to link to me. I would also be sure to have all these external linking anchors in variations to avoid over optimizing penalties. Instead of just having them add a link and they get a promo code. Make the promo code something you email after manually reviewing the site.

Various region phone numbers
Hi Mark, Thanks for contributing to this question. I would recommend that you read and memorize the Google Places Quality Guidelines, which specifically forbid the use of virtual addresses. Here they are for your perusal: http://support.google.com/places/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=107528 Specifically, the guidelines state: Do not create a listing or place your pin marker at a location where the business does not physically exist. P.O. Boxes are not considered accurate physical locations. If you operate from a location but receive mail at a mail box there, please list your physical address in Address Line 1, and put your mail box or suite number in Address Line 2. If you don't conduct face-to-face business at your location, you must select the "Do not show my business address on my Maps listing" option within your dashboard. If you don't hide your address, your listing may be removed from Google Maps. Hope it helps to read those. It's not fun to get in hot water with Google if you violate their policies!

Best way to do a site in various regions
I do wish you luck, Web Feat! Show the client the Google Places Quality Guidelines. Then, it's not just coming from you - it's coming from Google. Also, heads up: Google just changed the language again the guidelines. I wrote about this today, in case you are interested and it might help you in talking with the client: http://www.solaswebdesign.net/wordpress/?p=1205 Have a good rest of your weekend!

Contact ontolo
Hey webfeatseo, I just came across this and I'm pretty sure I spoke with you the other week. For posterity and if other potential SEOs come across this and are interested in Ontolo, I thought I might let folks know how we handle(d) this. We did reverse the charge to your credit card and, if I recall correctly, did so quickly enough that your card may have never been charged. For future reference, any emails sent to support@ontolo.com are almost always responded to within 24 hours, even on the weekends. I looked at our records and didn't see an email. But, again, I believe we spoke on the phone (it was a Sunday evening, in fact) and had it taken care of immediately. As for being charged on the final day of the trial, depending on when you sign up and at what time during the day billing is processed, there is sometimes a slight chance that this can happen. Like I said, though, it's quite uncommon but may have happened here. Finally, we understand that sometimes folks can enter cancelation dates incorrectly into their calendar, forget, etc, and we're quite accommodating with refunds. If anyone else has any questions, please feel free to email me at ben.wills@ontolo.com. Thank you, Ben Wills. CEO, Ontolo

Youtube as seen on error
I feel your pain. It's really irritating to see other sites getting some attribution for your work, but unfortunately we're dealing with relatively new functionality here and as such, it's not yet super sophisticated. Going forward, you may hopefully find that YT gets smarter at appropriating attribution to the content creators, but in the mean time - it has a choice between two relatively poor quality references and is simply picking one over the other. I don't think it will have anything to do with your domain name, but you are currently not linking back to the original post on your site within the vid meta description. probably worth putting this in. It's only a nofollow link without anchor text, but still a relevant reference. You might also want to try linking back to your channel on the post with the embed code. Another thing I would recommend trying is bringing in lots of views to the video on your own site. If two sites have embedded the content, but one is generating more views than the other, then these seems to me to be a relatively sensible metric for determining "as seen on" attribution. I haven't tested this to see if it's true, but It cant hurt to give it a go.
