That is the code my client wants to add to an internal page where we can keep updated news on a specific subject. Only problem is this widget has links within it, these links are "followed". Should i worry about these links being followed? There are quite a few, does anyone know if they will be counted if within an iframe or is there a way to add "no-follow" attribute to them. Can i somehow tell the HTACCESS to add no follows to all links on specific pages?

Any thoughts, solutions are greatly appreciated.

If this is a real business with real long term plans I would use the branded domain name. This feels more professional and as a business owner I would rather be identified with my company name on the internet rather than city+service.com.

On the other hand you can use the keyword domain to have two listings on Google. Question is, are you will doing to put in the time!!!

On top of what everyone else has touched on, dont forget to look at the competition and see what they are doing. You should be able to pick up some ideas there.

To do this properly you should first build up your social bookmarking and networking accounts. Until then I would hunt down the talkers in your industry and give them first shot at your news.

There are many articles on here which talk about finding personas on the internet for niche subjects.

If you have Cpanel here are the instructions. For godaddy or plesk call your host and tell them what you are trying to do.

Log into where you purchased domain A and forward it to the name servers at B's hosting. Then go into B Cpanel and click on add on domains. Add your domain. Once the domain has been added go to domain redirects and redirect your old domain to new.

For type choose permanent 301

Choose the domain you want to redirect from the drop down. Next manually type in your new domain name where it says "redirects to".

I think I disagree as moving site A's hosting to a new ip causes a drop in rankings.

Never heard about this before. I think this is not true, i have chagned IP's in the past without any consequences.

Thanks for the replies. You are right after further analysis these were not as high authority as i liked but these comments will help tremendously, thank you mucho.

We have created many high authority back links for our clients and after several months we have noticed 10% or so have actually been indexed (via multiple sources).

I am trying to find a way to easily get these backlinks indexed. There is a bunch of software out there, some create RSS feeds and others social bookmark these pages.

Any suggestions?
