RE: How do you find the source of a 404
For the quickness/effectiveness it would be, these in order:
1. Xenu
2. Screaming Frog
3. 404 Redirected Plugin (if you are using Wordpress)
Also once done also check with Google Webmaster tools and Moz tools to see if you caught all of them, this also takes a bit longer to update, thats why I listed it here, but you can also start with theses as well. If these campaigns/profiles are setup.

RE: Should I watermark my product images
Time might come, and might be around the corner when, images in Google Search will be OCR'd (scanned for text/wording and made searchable) this will result in your watermarks if its in Copyright Joe Smith (text form) will be searchable.
Also thing about this if you are using image search with an image of your brand, (not sure about practically but theoretically) you should be able to find all your images if they are watermarked with your Brand image in Google image search.
So if you are planning to future proof your images for image SEO go for it!

RE: Can Google Read schema.org markup within Ajax?
So if you read around on the topic Google supporting AJAX is a recent development so there are still many issues, with this. Think of it this way if Google bots still have a hard time reading regular code after so many years now. AJAX will have issues, they are focusing from what it seems on commenting systems such as FB, and Disqus. However try it out and see if your AJAX is being read if not it might be some time before most of the AJAX crawling works as it should.
Hope this helps

RE: Does Google's algorithm work the same in every country?
No it does not, and here is one glimpse as to why:
"Google does indeed sometimes launch algorithms just for the English language but when possible, Google does try to launch them globally."

RE: Author schema and Wordpress Author Page
Author schema really shines and helps with clickthrough on the SERPS in Google results for posts and articles and sometimes pages. (see attached) It is not so much useful beneficial, (even though it can be done, and you may still find value) for your author page. Also generally G+ profile is linked to your Author schema, You cannot add schema to your moz profile page. Or in that case use your moz profile to link to your site like you can with G+. Even though this could be really cool idea but not sure if Google will allow that

RE: A Page For Every Conceivable City In The US - Seeking Community Feedback
Hi Miriam,
Thanks for all your consistent help, and just to provide my input:
- It does not look very natural to those extremes, similar to having a backlink profile from one source, it could potentially look like a local directory, and if the site is not of that nature, Google should not rank them for that.
2) I want to look at the current Google structure of local results and organic results.
For local business with NAPs, Google places is the solution, granted it still doesnt work for all local searches + keywords, and might not give you meta description, it will easily tell you its a local physical business or a franchise of big national company but that still has a local presence. I think Google is improving very much in this.
Now after the Google Places results you still have organic results, this area in my eyes is a fair game to all, to rank for keyword plus local, and leave the spam filtering up to Google. What I mean by this, its Google's job to rank quality content vs for example Post-Gazette spam, In same terms I think Google should rank high quality pages in the organic even if they are for every city, granted it would be really tough to produce unique great content with every city, that is not thin, duplicate, and in the future social + social share proof. Where domain authority monopolies would not fly as the do now, but Page authority of great content would dominate the organic SERPS.
- Would I recommend this to a national company, probably not at that scale for the reason of unnatural scale of this type of content. I would recommend for top or key cities and if budget permits go for longer tail unique search keywords with that city. As a diversification of content vs looking like yelp directory.

RE: How cloudflare might affect "rank juice" on numerous domains due to limited IP range?
UPDATED/CLARIFICATION: Responding to your comment "Currently all sites are on different IP's and servers due to their size."
Your server IP addresses (A Records) will stay unique/same. The IP is masked by Cloudflare's Anycast using different IP addresses across the world, depending where used can be identical or in similar range. They cache static content with a short expiry time; for non-cached content their servers proxy through requests to the actual server then forward to a user.
See http://www.quora.com/CloudFlare/How-does-CloudFlare-work for a detailed response from CloudFlare's CEO to a similar question.
Now Google "should" first of all understand how Cloudflare works as a CDN just like it does with other similar CDNs and security platforms.
Does Google care about same IPs no, unless there are spammy neighbors using it:
“… there was recently a discussion on a NANOG (North American Network Operators Group) email list about virtual hosting vs. dedicated IP addresses. They were commenting on the misconception that having multiple sites hosted on the same IP address will in some way affect the PageRanks of those sites. There is no PageRank difference whatsoever between these two cases (virtual hosting vs. a dedicated IP).” Cutts Blog
Should Google figure this out and be able to differentiate the Cloudflare masking yes. But has Google been found with incorrectly diagnosing spam yes, with probably less complex issues to Cloudflare. The question may be do you want to take the risk, or partial risk as you can actually use your own DNS and cloudflare (paid version) again hoping assuming Google will understand.
Hope this helps, curious as to how Cloudflare will respond to this, so please update. But as an SEO'r it would depend how much risk you want to take in this case.

RE: Price Comparison Website And Keywords
Yea I would limit this to a lower number to few important comparisons not all highest, lowest, and few middle priced, and maybe most know stores. Adding content will help to mitigate this as well. But if its under 5 I dont think that should be a red flag

RE: Price Comparison Website And Keywords
Removing was probably a safe bet. Why are you considering putting it back?
Does it help your customers? No, then dont put it back. Yes, then maybe, why does it look over-optimized to you?
Can you explain a bit more of what you mean by, "The product name in the product column is the name from the actual website I am tracking. As such, my keyword was appearing sometimes up the 30 times." ? Is it in a product descriptions with significant amount of information that is relevant to the customer? If so, then you can edit the text to make sure your keyword density is below 10% or 5% just to be on the safe side. Unless you mean something else by the product column. Like Peter said adding relevant content to balance the keyword ratio could really help, fundamentally relevant content is great its great for SEO, if that is possible.

RE: I am new. How do I best use Moz?
Hi Paul,
Also to comment to what Gregory has said, I think its important to note that Moz analytics recently came out and might still have some glitches here and there but the Moz pro area with campaigns works well and remember any specific question is easily answered here on the Q&A or by reaching out to Moz at: http://moz.com/help/pro
Hope this helps
