Page Indexed but not Cached
Hi Sara, I am assuming that you haven't used the noarchive tag in your new pages source code? How old are these pages? Is there any chance of an example so I can see exactly what you mean? Please keep in mind the fact that if it is new content it will be indexed on Google before it is cached, so if you are getting a 404 not found error when you click on the cached version this is because the cache hasn't caught up on your new content but should within a few weeks.

How long should does it take before I see SEO results?
Hi Sara, If the competition is low, you will probably be able to see results within a few weeks. This would be a gamble but i've seen some of my pages for mediocre level keywords rank in 10 days from the day the page was created. I guess it would depend on how low the competition is and how far you are willing to go. If you are willing to spend some time creating a really good PR, it would help push your site up in a shorter time. Honestly IMO no one owns Google so no one can truly answer this question. From my experience it is possible ; ) but its up to you and how far you are willing to go. Hope this helps.

What are the top directories?
I would suggest that it would be vertical specific. But, if you are open to spending the money we suggest Yahoo Directory ($299) and Best of the Web (typically 99. to $150.)specifically. As to the dmoz mention, two things: while you can submit to DMOZ, you are not guaranteed to get into it and it often takes time, the second is I am still surprised by the people who utilize noodp, noydir. When you use those meta robots you block anything from those links. The reason for blocking is past based on my experience. I see sites with DMOZ links and they have noodp. (no open directory project - DMOZ). For local, restaurants must be in Yelp, CitySearch, etc. (and some others - I am making a point about given verticals). Always go for the BBB, Chamber of Commerce, etc. if you are a local business as these are high value links. Understand there are rules for each (BBB most cities you must have a site/business up a year, etc.). I think over time we will see more directories like these counting and less of the others. As to the SEOmoz list, it is not bad in my opinion. I think these things are changing as fast as updates from the zoo. (Pandas, Penguins, etc). My hope is that Yellow Pages, Avvo, SuperPages, etc. go straight to, uhhh purgatory. They got in early and they are worthless in my opinion. The bigger issue is when they duplicate the clients content with cut and paste and the client doesn't do business with them. But, they got the early links all over the web and on Places, etc. because people were simply unaware. As long as there are humans who are curating the directories there is the chance they will have value. EDIT: Tate Larson has a list of 7 good ones here: http://www.seomoz.org/q/the-ultimate-top-10-directory-list Hope this helps.

Should "white label" sites have a unique template
1. A unique IP is always a plus, that's true. It's like you travelling with your passport vs. you travelling along with ten other people using the same passport. Besides, on a shared IP address you risk having your site associated with the other sites on the same IP -- which may or may not have questionable content. 2. The template's design doesn't make any difference because there are 1,000 sites using the same template from Themeforest, for example, each from totally different business areas. Host your sites on different hosting accounts and have a second look at the domains' whois data, for starters.

Can you change RankTracker's setting?
Hi Sara, Right now, there is no way to track beyond the top 50 results. In our help hub page for rankings at http://www.seomoz.org/help/rankings, we mention "Ranking results beyond the top 50 tend to fluctuate to such a large degree that they make any actionable insight almost useless. Also, traffic gained beyond the first couple pages of search results is usually negligible." Hope this helps!

Could large number of "not selected" pages cause a penalty?
Canonical tag to what? Themselves? Or the page they should be? Are these pages unique by some URL variables only? If so, you can instruct Google to ignore specific get variables to resolve this issue but you would also want to fix your sitemap woes: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1235687 This is where it gets sticky, these pages are certainly not helping and not being indexed, Google Webmaster tools shows us that, but if you have this problem, how many other technical problems could the site have? We can be almost certain you have some kind of panda filter but to diagnose it further we would need a link and access to analytics to determine what has gone wrong and provide more detailed guidance to resolve the issues. This could be a red herring and your problem could be elsewhere but with no examples we can only give very general responses. If this was my site I would certainly look to identify the most likely issues and work through this in a pragmatic way to eliminate possible issues and look at other potentials. My advice would be to have the site analysed by someone with distinct experience with Panda penalties who can give you specific feedback on the problems and provide guidance to resolve them. If the URL is sensitive and can't be shared here, I can offer this service and am in the UK. I am sure can several other users at SEOMoz can also help. I know Marie Haynes offers this service as I am sure Ryan Kent could help also. Shout if you have any questions or can provide more details (or a url).
