Hi Kevin/Steve Having a whole https sites tend to take longer to respond to the first byte and load i've found, which seem to be increasingly important in rankings. I believe this can have an effect if the competition have faster more established sites and you are trying to get above them. But another train of thought is that google may also trust you more if its a whole https site, so following Kevin's advice and having a https may be the most effective long term, unfortunately clients don't tend to like to wait. You've probably got a challenge on your hands working to promote a business directory like this. What does the client want to acheive with this directory? Why are they running it, and what are it's business goals? How achievable/realistic are they? What's their budget? What ROI do they expect! What's the competition like? eek Why would real people use it? What makes this directory unique, How is this directory going to differentiate itself? How is it going to compete with the big name directories? I'm not sure that "listings are limited to three per category" would make this the go-to place for anyone searching for a type of business...

I never used this software either, but in a one look to its website I am not really impressed… the website is more like a sales copy and seriously pushing its product to the market. By reading the product explanation that is available on their website, ‘Comment Hut Plus allows you to find WordPress blogs that Google says are related to your keyword.’ This mean the software will find you relevant wordpress blogs that you can also find by using advanced Google queries… I don’t really see anything exciting in this but as it contains only $10 so you can buy and give it a try!

Hey Alan, ! ! ! ! 300 broken Links ????? I'm not seing any of that.  The most I've seen are 2 URLS.  What are you using the detect broken links? Thanks for your help

There's not a way to manually start your normal crawl, but you can do a crawl test of up to 3000 URLs at any time by going to http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/crawl-test. If you're having a delay, feel free to contact the help team at http://www.seomoz.org/help
