Alt tags advice
Yes that's right. But there are better ways of researching keywords. My favourites in order: Google search Moz keyword explorer. I shot a video of it here for page titles: https://carouselprojects.co.uk/crafting-killer-meta-titles/ This is for the beginner but I hope it's informative Regards NIgel

Difference keyword tool and related topics
Hello Russ, I have another question concerning content suggestions. If I get it right the content suggestions are "topic" that I should cover in my content. Let's take the keyword "Dordogne family bike tour" (one of my keywords). Moz content suggestions tell me the I covered Rocamadour. However, I also have Sarlat in my text but apparently content suggestion doesn't say I covered it ... Why ? I have an idea ! I believe that in order to cover a " topic" you need what I would call "indicator words" that are part of the same semantic group as the "topic" I am trying to cover correct ? For the world "Sarlat" it seems that I don't have any words related to "Sarlat", whereas I have words related to Rocamadour. Is it correct ? How do I know which words are semantically connected to Rocamadour ? How do I know if it is the word, hilltop village, pilgrimage destination, Chapelle Notre dame, the Black Madonnna status , all of those words or other words that triggered the fact that Rocamadour is covered ? Finally, does or do the words that trigger need to be in the same sentence, same paragraph or anywhere on the webpage is ok ? Thank you,

New link explorer
Roman is spot on. Links are still a big part of the game, but there are specific instances where you can rank with just content. Local SEO is a prime example. I only ever bother with citations for local SEO because I consistently rank just by focusing on content, technical/on-page SEO, and citations. For my clients with a national presence, outreach is necessary. Think healthcare and finance - smaller guys are competing with massive banks who have a ton of authority and history. Content won't win in that space alone (I wish it did). There are some real easy outreach wins early on, but once you've used up the easy stuff (like getting into directories or fixing broken backlinks) then you have to do a content inventory, find your best stuff, and promote it. OR You have to create amazing content, then promote that and earn some backlinks. Like Roman says, the term "great content" is overused and oversold. Most people who show me their great content are often showing off mediocre content. Best of luck!

H tags and Topics
Hi seoanalytics. It's not necessary that your H2 tags respond to people's questions. H2 is for subheadings of that H1. Use it to divide content into scannable blocks; both Google and your visitor will like it. H3 is for subheadings of that H2, preferably. Sometimes I use H3 for blocks that should be H2, but just don’t hold that much information for the visitor. H2 tags make you think about the structure and page layout of your blog. An 800-word blog may seem like a good idea. And, in fact, Google loves a page with a lot of information and depth. But you should help your audience out and give them lots of subheadings to make reading easier. Think of H2 tags as tiny table of contents pieces, showing your readers where to go and what they can expect to find in the given sections of your blog. What’s more, H2 tags must be optimized accordingly with your keyword phrases of choice, since they help SERP crawler bots interpret your pages and rank them accordingly.

Topics and semantically related keywords
Your second sentence looks spammy to me. If you wish to use the museums, try using them as a reference point: "The Van Gogh museum is a popular destination for many bike tours." KJr

Structure of HTML Page
It is true that search engine gives more value to some part of the page than other? Yes, Google's Document Ranking Based on Semantic Distance, and the recent Reasonable Surfer stuff all suggest that valuing links from content more highly than those in sidebars or footers can have net positive impacts on avoiding spam and manipulation Source: All Links are Not Created Equal: 10 Illustrations on Search Engines' Valuation of Links https://moz.com/blog/10-illustrations-on-search-engines-valuation-of-links If I have div in the main content as that considered par of the main content or no? You can have a div, or not, The tag is nothing more than a container unit that encapsulates other page elements and divides the HTML document into sections. Web developers useelements to group together HTML elements and apply CSS styles to many elements at once. I don't understand your question. Everything inside the body tag count as a content but even the header tags counts because your meta-description, your titles and canonical tags are located in the header, so from Google's perspective, they are relevant.

Secondary related keywords
"Mr X flew back to the United States last week" In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with your sentence. I understand it. I think that Google will understand it. Most of the writing that I do is very formal writing. Other people write in a relaxed manner, as though they are speaking. That type of speaking and writing is known as **colloquial. ** I believe that much of your writing is colloquial and Google will accept it without a problem. The only thing that I might add to your writing is some periods and commas. You might do that when you write for a website as forum writing is not given as much time.
