Am curious to get the forum's opinion on content syndication services like SYNND . Has anyone tried them or any other content syndication networks. Does the forum have any recommendations for good quality syndication networks that can be used to distribute content to quality sources.

RE: Should I try to earn that link?
If it is a legitimate link, even if the placement is on the footer, you should be ok as long as that page does not have a huge number of outbound links thereby devaluing your link.

RE: Help! A site has copied my blog!
Normally if you send a strong worded cease and desist to that webmaster , it should work and you aviod the costs associated with a lawyer. If that does not work, then i would go with Lesley and Ron's suggestions.

RE: Should I try to earn that link?
Hi Emilien,
Welcome to the forum. I would suggest choosing a topic within your industry and producing content that this site would be interested in showcasing. Once you have that quality content, then you can contact the site in the hopes of your content being accepted with a link back to you.
Cheers,

RE: Finding Related Keywords and/or Phrases
Hi Donald,
I would recommend SEMRUSH for this kind of research. By just typing in the URL , you can check your competitors top 20 organic rankings for a majority of their keywords and get an insight into their strategy. It gives you info related to keywords, positions, search volume, level of competition etc.

RE: Landing page experts, for lead gen conversion
Would be advisable to get a landing page expert that has prior experience in the insurance industry because it is such a competitive vertical.

RE: How many keywords?
You can setup FAQ pages and an info guide on all the products. The key is to create lots of good quality content and each content piece should be focused on one keyword.

Interesting post by Kiss Metrics on this topic.

RE: Content Marketing: What to say when calling prospects
I think your efforts would be more rewarding if you contacted leading content production sites for that vertical like emarketer . Find out the top sites that are associated with that industry and have a big subscriber base and then try to pitch your original content to them. If they accept , not only have you addressed your distribution issue but your exposure and visibility part as well. I would agree with EGOL, cold calling will not get a good return.

RE: Is There A Ninja Stats Dashboard That Can Do This? Analytics Maybe?
Try Trakkboard .
It can aggregate analytics and Facebook insights data into one dashboard.

RE: Why are "outdated" or "frowned upon" tactics still dominating?
With Google getting sophisticated with their algorithm and cracking down on spammy sites with every new update they roll out, it's only a matter of time those sites will get impacted by one of those updates. Stick with the recommended methods and you will be the winner in the long run. Tempted to quote EGOL here ; build great content for the visitors, optimize / distribute the content effectively and the rankings / traffic will follow.

Can you send over a screenshot of your competitor's listing as it appears on Google.

RE: How much back link should have per day ?
It's all about the quality and not the quantity of links that you build. You might find the below discussions helpful:

RE: Cons and pros of changing your e-commerce store domain name?
To add to that response when you do the 301 redirects , please ensure you do them at the page level not just at the domain level. Each page should be redirected to it's corresponding new page on the new site. I would also suggest replicating the title tags and the content for the pages that are ranking high on the current site.

RE: 33k links from Yahoo?
How is your site performing. Has the organic traffic/rankings dropped or do you think you have suffered from any updates. If not , i would not worry too much about it.

RE: Our Panda Content Audit Process
Very good process and well explained in the blog. You should do a You Moz post on this showcasing case studies and results that you are experiencing with your clients following this process.

IMHO .edu and .gove links if acquired in the right manner without any spamming tactics or redirects are still very effective for link building.

The percentage of image links really depends on your vertical. If you own a photography site, it might so happen that a high percentage of your links would be from images shared on different sites across the net. The keyword here is "natural". If it appears natural for your site to have a high percentage of inbound links from images, then you should not have anything to worry about.
Good article on this topic here.
