Very well said Peter if I could I would give you two thumbs up. Do you think Hummingbird was to improve Google instant? I believe it was as it uses more contextual algo patterns to serve up answers to questions posed to the engine. Sorry to get off topic

Search volume is also important, I would also check the trending graph included in the keyword tool this will help you pick the right time to start ranking for those keywords. Develop natural and clean content to support your keywords you are trying to go after

It seems that sometimes it takes a little longer with new campaigns. I know it sounds simple but you may want to verify the campaign is set up correctly a simple typo can set you back. It is a great product hope you like it

I am not sure what type of site you have but I have a Ecommerce site and when I remove a product I redirect it to the category page it was in.

How fresh is your content on your site? Fresh (good) content brings the engines back.

I would check your DA of where the links are pointing from if it is higher than your DA they are probably not the problem. If you go through WMT like EGOL suggested. If it were me I would get a second opinion and quote from another SEO or perhaps a webmaster.

I am not sure if you have went to a report and clicked the "Email" link you can set it up so you get that snapshot data emailed to you.

I agree with Shaun it does take a little time. Not sure what causes it to delay maybe they store the data and update. Before you panic on some strange ranking you can use a rank checker to verify you are still ranked where you think you are.

I have also noticed google stops sending a responses on RankChecker after a certain amount of keywords around 50.
