I would like to know more facts regarding Google Local. When is Google showing e.g. the 3-pack, the 7-pack etc. As far as I know there are two diffrent algorythms which can be displayed.

RE: How to get Google images traffic?
Hi there,
I don't have the time to digg deeper into that - sorry....
But I just made some search request (in google.at image search thought) and did find some results:
e.g. "black diamond earrings" - http://www.google.at/search?hl=de&rlz=1T4GGLG_deAT305AT213&biw=1259&bih=817&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=black+diamond+earrings&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=
--> you are there on the first page with a huge n° of results.another search was (very exact term):
You see the first result of that search? This is the same image as you do have on your website. So you have some competitors for the same images.
Apart from that there are several more factors of the whole website if you are trustworthy. And try to be less spamy with your image names - 12794_Mens_On_Sale_Gold_10K_Round_Cut_Cut_Black_Color_AAA_900ct_8093.jpeg is e.g. quiet spamy.
But I think you are on the right way - hope this helps a little bit.

RE: Meaning of agnostic ?
Hi Andrew,
you can read the answer here in the new search ranking factors:
http://www.seomoz.org/article/search-ranking-factors#metrics-2
There it is pretty well explained

RE: Do you want an SEOmoz profile badge?
I find the idea not bad - but I woudn't include any numbers at all. This enforces only "number hunting" in my opinion. As Thomas mentioned the "staff endorsed answers" do have a "real" value.

RE: Redirect
Hi Keri, you just pushed me to go forward with that problem. Yes, Mike's suggestion works perfect!

RE: Redirect
Hi Mike, sorry for my delayed answer (I have been on holiday in between an this means always busy time before and after... and this item was not the most important one. The problem with my mentioned redirect above has been that it worked, BUT the image itself (which is of course in use on the website) was not visible any more.
And your solution works perfect - I just tried it out. Thank you

RE: Redirect
Right .. sorry:
~img/head/beauty-spa.jpg%22%20width=%22114%22%20height=%2250%22%20alt=%22image%22/%3E%3C/a%3E%20%3C/div%3E%20%3Cdiv%20class=%22c0%20r%22%3E%3Ca%20href=%22/m/imgres?q=short+holiday+treatments~

RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^q=short+holiday+treatments$
RewriteRule (.) /? [R=301,L]But it ain't work

Strategy for visibility in a german speaking country
The following scenario:
We have a domain with .info (good Domain Authority) which ranks well in google.at, google.com but not in googe.de.
We want to rank well in google.de, too
(same language in .at = Austria + .de = Germany though). The paths of the websites are: www.example.info/de/keyword.html --> so we do use the path for Germany already to target that country.
What strategy you suggest?

RE: Telalinks.com - good idea or not?
Hi Graham,
I quiet don't understand your question. You did ask if it will increase or decrease SEO rank if you link OUT to relevant websites?
What confuses me is the link you mentioned above, because this seems to be a platform where you get links IN.First of all if you link to relevant other websites that's a positive sign for the searchengines but you will get no boost in rankings therefore.
Shortly to TelaLinks: If you can get 5400 backlinks for free to your site instantly - this is more than suspicious to me. These are no natural links and machine driven and in my opinion is not a white hat tactic and I would not dare to use it.
But I have to admit I don't know that platform ... -
