RE: How do I get Google to display categories instead of the URL in results?
Hi Carlito,
first of all there must be this breadcrumb information in the content of the page that Google can identify and understand it.
Take a closer look at this link http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=185417

RE: Do you validate you websites?
Hi David, thank you for your reply.
Would you mind sharing your arguments why you find it is important? I would be curious how many pros you find - I like your point of view.

RE: The same keyword has the same search volume for 6 ways to type it. How should I behave?
Seems to be a significant difference between 5 x 1000 and the rest. So if you want to rank with that term you should definitefely set up an extra page for that and treat that indivually. 5 x 1000 can mean everything ...
The lasting 5 terms are similar and we know that the search engines use synonymes, too - therefore we should definetifely use them. Althouth I made the experience that it is really difficult to rank with all synonyms. The best would be to set up a page for each term - what probably will be very difficult.

RE: Would you suggest submitting a website to a travel platform which gets backlinks from link farms?
Yes I did.
mT: 5.75
DmT: 3.88
Of the link sources to the directory - sometime bad mT, sometimes not so bad.On that platform there are several huge brands / hotels in there, too.

Would you suggest submitting a website to a travel platform which gets backlinks from link farms?
The website of the travel platform is well designed and looks serious - without any adsense or suspicious links on it. So does the email newsletter of them.
But I checked the domain in OSE and saw not less links which came from more or less linkfarms with very often the same anchor text.
Would you suggest your customer to submit on the platform?

RE: Is this Directory Guide by SEOmoz still accurate?
The 3 resources you mentioned are stil valuable.
A tipp regarding JoeAnt, it is quiet easy to become an editor there, then you don't have to pay for the input.

RE: Internal Links - more the merrier?
I recently wrote that article http://www.seodesignsolutions.com/blog/seo-resources/why-internal-links-are-more-important-than-backlinks/
There is certainly a grain of truth in it.

RE: Not counting seomoz or Distilled, what are your top3 SEO blogs you wouldchoose to read if you had a hard limit of 3 total?
searchengineland.com is one of my favourites, too. But I always read the http://searchengineland.com/searchcap-the-day-in-search-date.... there I have kind of a "best of" and scan trought the titles and select then the post I read.
http://www.searchenginejournal.com/
http://www.ericward.com/ - I like his way of thinking regarding link building (but this is not in the top3 (seomoz of course, too).

RE: How does Google interpret articles or prepositions in languages where it's attached to the (key)word?
Hi Debi,
as far as I know those words are filtered out by the search enginges - regardless what language they are written.
They have no relevance for the interpretation of the written text and have only grammatically and syntactic functions. I didn't test it though, but I think there is no difference if you write e.g. the anchor text with our without them.

RE: Link analysis task
E.g. buying a 72 hours day pass - http://www.linkresearchtools.com/products-overview/ for Euro 20,- - worth the money - even Ann Smarty recommended the tool.
