The homepage is your most important page, most PR, naturally linked to most, TLD etc. If "cash for gold" is your most important target for your site you should target your homepage for that term if it is a highly competitive term and i'm sure it is.

Like Kev - wrap a few lines of content in quotation marks, this method usually works well when looking for duplicate content on a blog. Sometimes use it if someone is supplying content as well to make sure it's completely unique. You could also site:www.yoursite.com and click your way to the very last page, you might see a omitted results link. Sometimes duplicate pages are in hear as well because they are very close/same as another page.

I think (haven't tested) you would just do hour containing 12 That would include in the segment any visits within that hour.

I would check where those 500-errors originate from. Your website does not handle errors well do - i.e. the link to "/About-Us/Partner-Profiles/Partner-Profiles/Anna-Mosey.aspx" throws a 500 and should really be 404's or 410's. When I do the search (from South Africa), the search term is on page 1, 4th position. I would perhaps have a look at validating HTML as well - found it quite strange that the anchor-texts in the have so much trailing whitespace.

Hi David! Yes they will leak "SEO juice" <- don't like the phrase either! To be safe from Google I would make sure these banner ads had rel="nofollow". Since google has changed the rules to prevent PR sculpting the banner ads will still leak link juice (just not to the site linked to).

Unfortunately there is no real easy way to do this at present because as far as im aware (may be wrong) facebook keeps its search volume data to itself.  Although this may change in the near future as they have recently rolled out their own PPC platform for sponsored results. Instead I would keep an eye on other metrics such as brand mentions and likes and the rate at which these are gained during your social medial campaigns.

The points which you've mentioned/explained is only related to optimization. What exactly are you doing on promotion part. I guess you must be promoting this page via: Guest Blogging Forum Participation Directory Listing (High quality directories, regardless of NO/DoFollow and PR) Article Syndication PRs, etc. Sharing content on FB, Twitter, G+, etc. (very important) If not then start immediately. Optimization helps in better indexing but not directly in SE Rankings. Apply variation in Anchor Texts while developing links, so that it looks natural. for e.g: office to let deals in Leeds office to let Leeds office to let in Leeds, etc. It appears as if the bounce of this page would be relatively high, NO?
