Hi there!
We'd be happy to send you a Roger keychain.
Can you send us an email with your address to community@moz.com? Thanks!
Sorry this is taking so long.
We've run into some roadblocks along the way, but this is definitely still something we're working on. Unfortunately, we don't have a set release date right now. We'll keep you updated when we get more information, though!
You're very welcome, Enam! Let me know if you have any other questions along the way. Happy to help!
Hey Enam937!
We've run into the same issue here at Moz.
Unfortunately, only individuals can create groups on Facebook. What we've done in the past is created groups under one persons page, then given everyone on our community team admin access so we would all own the group. We also made sure to include our brand in the group name and made the photo of Roger so people could recognize it as Moz, then we posted the link to our company page to get people to join. While it's not an ideal solution, it's the only way to go for now. Hopefully Facebook will let companies/non profits create groups one of these days!
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
Hey Christopher!
It's something that we're working on as we speak.
Unfortunately, we're waiting on some other things to be stable before we release it, so we could be looking at early 2014 before we finally get it out there. Really sorry it's taking so long!!
Hi Jim! This is actually in the works as we speak! We should have OSE working with https in the next month or so.
Hi James! We'd be happy to look into this to see if anything funky is going on. Would you mind sharing the URL that you're looking at? If you prefer to keep it private, you can send us an email with your question to help[at]seomoz.org and we'll check it out.
Thanks!
Hi there! The most likely reason you're seeing a higher number in OSE and a lower number of links when you export is because we only show the top 25 links from any domain. You probably have a few sites that are linking to you externally over 25 times, but we aren't able to show you all of those links in the export. Instead, we're just showing you the top 25 links from each linking domain based on page authority.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi Everyone! This is Megan from SEOmoz.
Just thought I'd chime in here with an update. Right now we suggest letting other people know you're login information if you'd like them to have access to your campaigns. We know this isn't ideal, though, so we are working on a multi-seat option. This should be ready within the next few months, so keep an eye out!
Hi there! This is Megan from SEOmoz.
If you'd like to send the URL you're looking at over to help@seomoz.org, we'd be happy to look at this further so we can try to explain all the numbers.
Thanks!
Hi Simone! This is Megan from SEOmoz. Your best option to see what bots have crawled your site and when is by checking your server logs. If our bot came through, you'll see our useragent 'rogerbot'.
Hope this helps!
Hey Ellen!
In the OSE interface, we'll tell you how many links you have total, but we'll always only show you a maximum of 25 links per domain, whether it be in the interface or in the CSV export. Also, the link per domain max applies regardless of how many links you have. So, if you only have 1 linking domain, but 75 links from that same domain, we'll still only show the top 25.
The data in exporting to a CSV versus the interface in OSE is the same, but exporting to a CSV gives you all your link information on the same page and can make it easily sortable.
I hope this helps! I know this can be confusing, so if you have any other questions, please let me know!
Hey there! This is Megan from SEOmoz. Great question! So, the drastic difference in the number of links is because we'll only show you the top 25 links per domain. Our API that we use for OSE currently has a total limit of up to 100,000 links for any domain, so we only show the top 25 because if, for example, someone has 500,000 links and most of them are from the same domain, then we wouldn't want to fill up all 100,000 links with the same domain information and leave out links from other important domains. Instead, we'll only show the top 25 based on page authority so we can show the links from other sites without the same domain taking up all 100,000 spaces. In other words, we want to show you your link diversity.
I hope this helps explain things! If you have any other questions, let me know.
Hi there! This is Megan from SEOmoz. The check marks refer to which URL is doing best in that column. If there are multiple URLs with the same score, then they will all have checks next to them.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi rfwood! This is Megan from SEOmoz. From what you've written in your question, it sounds like example.com would be your best bet. By setting up a campaign as a root domain, we'll be able to track all of your subdomains, including blog.example.com.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please let me know!
Hi Cuyler! This is Megan from SEOmoz. I'm really sorry, but unfortunately, we can't change the day for crawl and ranking reports. The reporting days are all based on when your campaign is set up and can't be changed at all.
Hopefully one day we'll have this option, though!
Cheers!
Hi Jean-Louis! This is Megan from SEOmoz. You're right that the number of pages getting crawled has dropped to 1 because of the change from www to non www. Unfortunately, you'll need to start a new campaign for thespin.be. The tool doesn't allow the domain of a campaign changed once it's setup.
It's limited in that way, because if the parameters of a campaign were constantly changing, it could make it extremely difficult to interpret historical data in terms of why progress was or wasn't made.
On the bright side, you can archive your current campaign so that you'll have all of the historical data for reference. Also, archiving doesn't take up a campaign slot.
I hope this helps!
