Print Button Creating Duplicate PDF URLs set to NoIndex, OK for SEO?
yea, wouldn't spend too much time recoding that then. i would still block the print pages via robots.txt so that they aren't crawled at all.

Will Reduced Bounce Rate, Increased Pages/Session, Increased Session Duration-RESULT IN BETTER RANKING?
Hi Jeff: Happy to report that improved metrics are not caused by bots or any unusual spikes in traffic. So I think we are seeing a legitimate improvement. Last year we focused on UX improvements. Will focus on content and links this year in order to solidify our gains. Thanks for your input!! Alan

13 New Quality Back Links But Little Improvement in DA and PA-WHY?
Hi Robert: I just subscribed to Ahrefs and see all the links that are missing in MOZ. Oddly, when I set up a link tracking list on MOZ, 4 of the 6 missing links got indexed within a week. Overall, I find ahrefs to be a better tool. Only think I don't like about it is the lack of a Question and Answer section.

SEO Benefit to Hosting Site on a Dedicated Server?
It won't have any direct impact. The only thing you may gain is a speed improvement which is an SEO benefit. If you are only getting 20 visitors a day you are going to struggle to fund a dedicated server worth having. You can get cheap ones, but you only get what you pay for. If it was me I would go with some good quality hosting and spend your time and money on optimising. As the website grows you can look to moving to something more beefy.

Should Mobile Header Design Use Big White Area for Large Male Thumbs when 65% + of Visitors are Male?
I tend to opt for a min height and width of 48px X 48px (12mm X12mm) on all mobile button / click zone designs to accommodate fingers on a screen, that also applies to input fields too to make them easier to handle. As for the design aesthetics, I think a blend of the two designs would look the best. The spacing is neater on design B, but I actually like menu on the button (some may disagree). Best bet would be to set up the two designs and run as optimisation test to see which performs the best over a control period and then add some Multivariant tests trying some blended designs. Maybe use something like hotjar to record the clicks too, that way you can see if your hit zone/button sizes are working well. Cheers Tim

19 Hours Excessive to Code Single Wordpress Page?
Hey Alan, sorry for the delayed response I've been away a little while. So you have multiple facets of design. Did you know some developers specialise in the front-end look and feel of a site, without touching much SQL, back-end stuff or databases? In my opinion, stuff like Adobe InDesign or the mocking up of a a page layout, is only part of the design process. If you're using coding to translate a 'static' design into a living, breathing web-page, to me that's still design work (although it relies upon coding). It depends whether you consider front-end dev to be a design facet, a dev facet or somewhere in-between. It's not that long ago that all designers were expected to know some HTML and CSS, in many cases - quite in depth with possible PHP extensions to their knowledge. Knowing what's feasible, what's possible and how to attach the 'pretty pictures' to functions is IMO, still design work whilst the hard-core developers focus on the complex additions and more technical site facets. I personally wouldn't work with any designer who just produced images of work and nothing else. With my view of design being how it is, since your initial question shows that the developer is 'using code' to 'alter the look' of the site, I would say that regardless of mock ups - design is involved. You are right, there are developers who actually know what they're doing - then there are 'WordPress plugin installers' who will 'masquerade' as fully fledged developers and take your money. Watch out, many sharks roam the digital seas!

Spam Links Attack, Negative SEO?
Hello Kingalan1, This issue with spammy links from Globe sites has been reported before, here: The Globe - Spam Link Network. Should action be taken to remove these links? - Moz Q&A forum TL;DR; I wouldn't worry that much for those links as long as you find them spammy probably google will consider them as spam and don't consider them when ranking your page. Only if you consider that those links are hurting your rankings use the disavow tool. Long explanation: On one hand, Google (though their spokesman) said that the algorithm is pretty good finding and diminishing the strength of spammy links. So, if you talk to someone from Google right now, they might said: leave them, probably the algorithm will consider those as spammy and there will be no harm. On the other hand, If you are absolutely sure that those links are spammy and malicious... then go ahead and disavow them. Remember that it's possible to disavow an entire domain. More info here: Disavow backlinks - Search Console Help Hope it helps. Best luck GR

Reasonable to Ask URL of Link from SEO Providing New Links before Link Activation?
Hi Alan, If they're not willing to share their link/outreach targets with you, I would steer clear of them. What they're saying about it being their 'intellectual property' is complete rubbish. At the end of the day, the site they're building links to is your business and it should be in your best interest to ensure that links that are being built to the website are of high quality. It sounds like they're being unnecessarily shady. Find yourself an SEO that is transparent and working **with you **to create a solid link acquisition strategy, not working in isolation and secrecy. All the best, Sean

Essential to Have a Blog to Rank Well?
Hi there! In my personal and professional opinion, either have a blog or you dont. If you have, you must destine the resources needed and be part of the strategy. Having a content site just for the sake of having it is useless and can tell users that you dont care and/or that you are lazy with other parts of your products/services. There is no experiment (to my knowledge) that proves the need of a blog to rank well in the principal keywords. Usually, blogs or content sites are a part in a big content strategy, where you can target other more semantic and/or answer questions about your products. I'd like to think it as you are creating a conversion funnel, where blog posts, content in other sites or any content is somewhat convincing users about your products/services. Having a correctly structured content site (or blog) could help somehow through internal linking to express more clearly the anchor/keyword intent for some specific pages. Also, always consider that if you can attract users a little interested in some of your products, you are getting a share of visibility that you didnt have without the content site. Hope it helps. Best luck. GR

Best Practices-Optimize Theme Before Coding or After Coding?
The great thing about Themes is pretty much over 90 something percent of them are under 100 bucks. In all honesty, there's like maybe a handful that is just simply amazing! I personally love Divi. I've tried many themes, the only one I really need outside of Divi is my retro tube for an adult niche. The problem with a platform like WordPress is that there are a LOT of themes. Which means naturally a LOT of themes will most likely SUCK. If it becomes even slightly a hassle, in the beginning, I would get out dodge and get a better one quick. Take it from me and my poor experiences trying desperately to make my theme not suck for the first website I ever made. I did eventually but thinking back on it, that was such a torturously miserable painful process. A few traits of themes to avoid: Top heavy visual builders Ridiculously large amounts of mandatory plugins. (install as few as possible is a great practice to follow) Some sites I have like literally just use Yoast and do quite well. Not having some form of responsiveness. With so many optional frameworks easily attached, there is no excuse. 431 premade page layouts, Email popup software Bloom/social share software called Monarch. I would go with either Either that one or just ridiculously godly fast like Generate Press which utilizes varnish. And in reference to optimizing before or after the process of configuring a theme for your site, it's actually both. Any well optimized site, will involve modifying content frequently and I would definitely suggest optimizing everything you have right away or as quickly as possible

Value in Having Google Adword Specialist Manage PPC Campaign?
Perhaps others have had more ideal experiences having Google running their campaigns for them, me personally, not so much. The first and the only time I had them run a campaign it was when I first started a business online. Of coarse I had no idea what organic ranking/SEO was at all so I very briefly let them run a shoe campaign for pole dancing shoes, which in short order they were targeting Victoria's secret type shoes which was a ridiculously higher PPC than my target audience and obviously wasn't going to monetize but rather tank money. Once I took it over and watched several videos on using the Adwords platform they called me a day or so later attempting to take it over again rofl. It's quite possible maybe someone has had a GREAT experience where they just handed Google the reigns and it was like a automated money machine and it's still currently a smashing success... But I'm gonna say no haha! I would go through the SEO services that MoZ suggests and find one with the Google Partners certification badge on their page. That's probably your best bet.

Best Practices: Mobile & Desktop Ad Design for Adwords?
Hey, I'm sorry, I was talking about Ad groups. Here's an example of how I would set up my campaign with your example. I would set up four campaign separate campaign which is loft space, loft space - mobile, medical space, medical space - mobile then within those campaigns, you can have different ad groups to target the set of keywords of the products.

Gradual Increase in Domain Authority After Domain Migration But No Improvement in Organic Traffic Yet
Have your keyword rankings changed? As Sean pointed out, it appears that at least some of them currently look decent. If your rankings are where they were before but your traffic has decreased, are you sure that traffic that you lost wasn't bot traffic?

Reasonable Cost for Adwords PPC Set Up?
The more data you have on something the better. You don't necessarily have to get several thousand hits a day to get accurate data in the A/B split testing process by any means, and most people don't. You could just take the stats for the week/month to base your modifications upon. The majority of my websites get less than 100 hits a day, pretty much just that one site does that well and the conversion rate is atrocious, luckily it's all organic traffic. Sorry for any confusion caused by my old school poker term "Bankroll." I'm not suggesting you invest all that the money into the ppc campaign by any means. What I meant by bankroll is that you have that as a reserved amount to ensure you can keep it up. I doubt anyones going to keep going and not throw in the towel once they've lost half their stack. Especially if they haven't made a single conversion within 5 of your 10 racks of clicks hehe.

Reasonable Cost for Link Building Service
You should contact SEOs and get as much info about backlinks criteria as you can and then you have 2 options: outreach by yourself or hire the SEO specialist that you can trust. Here are some tools for outreach that can help: https://moz.com/blog/14-easy-ways-to-find-any-email-address-in-10-minutes-or-less And there is not fixing price for a link building per time. Backlinks differ in metrics and the price depends on the relevancy (niche) and quality of a website (outbound links, content, permanent links or not etc). Compare prices from different sellers and make up your decision.

Domain Migration Hell!
Hello Kingalan1, I did not see a screenshot. Has it been removed? If Google is unable to access the old URLs (i.e. URL Not Allowed) they will be unable to see the redirect to the new one. I'd like to help you with this. Can I see the screenshot or can you give me some examples of old URLs?
